I have a newborn and a 2.5 yr old. Unfortunately, the chair seat cracked in half when I folded the stroller, but One Step Ahead replaced the stroller. Then it happened again. So, be aware, when folding this stroller, the sun-shade shouldn't press against the back seat. My only other issue is the lack of foot room for the child sitting in the back. Besides that, the stroller is versatile, and easy to steer.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We really like this stroller; the ride is smooth and it doesn't take up much room in the trunk. It's easy to open and close. I have a 3-month old and an 18-month old and it helps to have a stroller that is easy to maneuver and isn't too heavy. I have three issues with this stroller....first, my 18-month old sits in back and when I put in my daughter's snugride up front, he loses a lot of leg room; it's not easy to get him in and out if she's already in...not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Also, the seat back doesn't stay upright, so my son is always in a lounging position which he doesn't like. He has to hold himself up. Finally, when it's in use with both kids, I can't access the basket underneath, which is a bit of a pain. It looks like it will be accessible when converted to a sit/stand, but does me no good right now.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Our boys are 15 months apart and knew the stand option would be a must. (though we haven't used it yet, we look forward to it in a few months!) We like the design of this stroller. But a larger toddler will not fit in the back as the foot room is very tight, even for my petite 19 month old. The child in the back seat can not see over the large sunshade (would be nice if it was "stadium" type seating.
Good for malls, etc. Get a jogger if you are looking to use it for long walks as it is hard to manage on hills. The handle is very narrow, you can not hang a diaper bag from it (but you can use the hooks sold at most baby stores)
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this stroller for my 15 month old and newborn. My second daughter was born less than two weeks ago and we've used this stroller a few times since then. My husband says it's lightweight and folds more easily than our single stroller from the same company. This stroller has all the features we need. The only complaint is that the basket is a little hard to get to because it's beneath the back seat. You can't get to it from behind the seat, you have to go in between the seats. It's more of an adjustment than a problem since we're used to accessing the basket from behind.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I was in need of a double stroller for my newborn and 2.5 year old daughter. After online research and talking with other parents, I was most interested in this stroller. I love it! While common negative comments have been that there is no cup holder for the toddler seat and a hard to access storage bin, they are easy to accept in comparison to all the wonderful features this stroller provides. I am petite & only 5' tall but am able to set up, break down and stow this stroller in my minivan with no problem. It only takes up a little more space in length than my graco single stroller. Love the modern pattern and would definately recommend this to a friend.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Love it. Its much easier to fold and lift than I thought. i was nervous about the weight. I have a 4 month old that I can look at and my toddler loves it! The basket is a little small and one arm maneuvering is hard but its smooth and manageable.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I received this stroller for a gift when i was expecting baby #2. This stroller was a breeze to set up. I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and it is working great. It has great room even in the back seat, which i was worried about. My only worry that i cant figure out how to get to the stuff i plan on putting in the basket below, but not sure if other double strollers have bigger baskets or not.

Taken on plane, toted around with a three year old and a five month old. Easily maneuvers around for size...love this stroller!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this, I have a baby and a preschooler.
All the different stages is a lifesaver, since children do grow! I have never seen anything like this. We just took it to Niagra Falls Canada, and we took it in and out of stores and up and down hills perfectly, I never found myself complaining about it, easy to switch the kids seats, easy to fold up and throw in the back of the van, LOVE IT!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
New baby not here yet but so far I'm loving this and this it will do well with our newborn and toddler.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is great! It looks much more expensive that it was. It is long (length) but it is a double stroller and less bulky than I anticipated! It is a very smooth ride and easy to maneuver. I have a newborn and a toddler and both are very happy and content in this stroller. Great buy, I highly recommend!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Right now we use the second seat to do some carrying up of groceries. The second child is on the way. Despite that it is a double stroller, it really compacts itself more than a single. I am having a hard time finding one that fits onto the bar. Also certain stores only carry limited brands of the ones suggested. Most of them don't even match the stroller.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 2 month old. My toddler is tall for her age and I am able to fit both children comfortably in this stroller. The baby sits in her infant carrier in the front and my toddler sits in the rear seat (not the jump seat). Her legs dangle into the basket underneath but it doesn't bother her at all. She loves being able to stare at her baby sister which is great & entertaining!
I'm 5'1" and 110 lbs and I lift this thing into the trunk with little problems (my car is small so I do have to pop off the front canopy but it's easy)...I can also steer it easier than my single Graco that I had.
This is absoultely the best solution because I don't think my toddler was ready for the sit n stand but I know eventually she will be! This gives me the option to change it later on.
Absolutely the best stroller I could have bought. Plus I love the black stylish fabric (matches my diaper bag).
The cons...the basket is difficult to get to. Luckily my diaper bag is the kind that straps onto the stroller handles. Also, a snack tray in the back would have been nice too!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a great stroller for the price. I have a 2 year old and a newborn and I can get them both into this stroller comfortably. I do wish the back seat had better foot space and a tray but other than that this is a great stroller. It folds down quite small, similar to a single stroller and is easy to maneuver. My toddler loves it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We love this stroller, its got everything we were looking for, we just WISH it had a rear child's snack tray. That's all its missing, other than that its literally perfect! If it had 2 snack trays i'd give it 5 stars, but because it doesn't i have to give it 4.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am a mother to a 3 month old and a nearly 2yr old toddler. My biggest concerns when shopping for a double stroller were 1) would it fit into the trunk of my car 2) would it be comfortable for the kids 3) would it be easy to fold/unfold 4) would it be easy to maneuver 5) cost.
My single stroller was a Peg Perego. This double stroller fits into my trunk BETTER than my single. The single was too long to fit one way or the other so it had to sit diagonaly in my trunk. That made room for anything else slim. This stroller is bulky (duh, it's a double stroller) but it fits perfectly front to back and takes up a little over half of my trunk (I drive an Acura TL). There's plenty of room for other things like groceries or shopping bags.
Comfort.... it does lack a lot in comfort for the kids. That is one big reason I gave the stroller 4 stars vs. 5 stars. They could improve A LOT on the seat comfort. My toddler is really good about staying with me when walking so I allow her to get out and walk when we are at the mall, zoo, etc... so it gives her a break from the hard seats. But if you have a picky kid or are going to require your child to sit for hours then you are going to need to pack a pillow or something.
The other reason I gave this stroller 4 stars vs. 5 stars is because my toddler's feet get stuck EVERY TIME she tries to get out of her seat. My toddler sits in back while I have the baby in the front in her infant car seat. The front stroller seat must be fully reclined to fit the car seat which REALLY limits the leg room for the toddler in back. Eventually she'll remember that she has to turn her feet sideways to get her feet out, but right now her feet get stuck and her shoes come off EVERY TIME. A bigger kid won't be able to fit in the back seat used facing forward in combination with the infant seat. He/She will have to use the jump seat facing you. Also, set up for use with the infant seat you can't have a snack tray in back for your older child. These are BIG downfalls.
HOWEVER, and a big however this is, this stroller is excellent! It's a bit heavy, OK.... it's a double stroller, but I'm 5'2" and certainly not a body builder and I can easily get it in and out of my trunk. Come on, Moms. We haul a baby around in our arms all day long while doing housework and cooking dinner. We can certainly lift a stroller every now and then without much complaint. But weight aside, this stroller sets up and folds down in a SNAP! The thing you don't want to look like is a fool while trying to get your monsterous stroller in and out of your car while standing in the rain with a crying baby in your car. Again, this stroller is better than the Peg in that way. Click and lift and it's up. Click and push and it's down. Nothin' to it.
Also better than the Peg is its maneuvering. It rides and steers better than my single umbrella stroller. Very smooth ride and easy to push and steer with one hand (while holding onto my toddler with my other hand).
Cost... unbeatable! There are some very expensive strollers out there. Those may be excellent strollers and if you really want to break your bank for a fancy name, go for it. But this stroller is nicely priced and is an excellent addition to any family with 2 young kids.
I would buy this again and I would highly recommend it to others.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love everything about this stroller. It is easy to change from two seats to back seat and baby seat. What suprised me was how easy it was to take the back seat out so my two year old can stand on the back or sit facing me while we stroll.
The ONLY thing that I have a problem with is where the fabric connects to the stroller to put the back seat in and out. The holes where you connect have ripped. It should be reinforced in that areas. Everything still works but I may have to reinforce the fabric in the future if it continues to rip.
In the end I would recommend this to everyone I know. I LOVE THIS STROLLER!!!!!!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Very pleased with product. Easy to put together, no tools needed. Easy to change stroller to different seating arrangements as kids grow. Basket is on the small side and is difficult to reach. Backseat child has limited foot room, however it does not seem to bother him (18mo.) Overall, very pleased with product.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I absolutly love this stroller, it rides very smooth and it is very easy to manuver. I have only used it with my baby in the infant carrier and my two year old in back. The only problem is my two year old has very little foot room and I had a hard time getting to the basket (which is pretty small) even after i took her foot rest down. I had to carry all my bags at the mall, but other then that this stroller is GREAT. It just glides very nicely!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a two year old and a 3 month old at home and bought this to save space. I Love this stroller! I was hesitant on spending so much on a stroller, but it is worth every penny!! It is so easy to set up and take down, and it fits better in my trunk than my old graco single stroller! It is very stylish and drives great! When we first got it I couldn't get my son our of it, he just loves it! I would and have recommended this to my friends! thanks so much!!!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is great for family outings. I was able to use it with my four year old (using the sit and stand feature) and my then 1 yr. old. Six months later I adjusted the stroller to accomodate my baby and my newborn. It is a little heavy but lighter than most doubles and the colors are so neutral I can use it with both my son and daughter. I sometimes have trouble accessing my diaper bag once it's in the basket underneath. This however, can also be a good security feature! I would also like a snack tray for the back seat. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase. With its different combinations, I will be able to use this stroller for many years to come.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I ordered this after I returned the Kolcraft Contours double stroller. I loved that stroller because of the ability to turn the kids around to face you and the many seating options, but the seats were too small for my oldest and the stroller itself was WAY too big to fit in the car (I have a Saturn Outlook and I had to fold down the larger part of the third seat to fit it in - that is pointless if I'm about to have a third child - I can't fit my 4 year old in the car if I needed to take that stroller) - it was heavy as well. So, I ordered the Sit N' Stand double because I am 5 months pregnant and will be traveling across the country by myself with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I knew that I needed to contain my older child in the airport and have a double for when the newest addition arrives. I like the fact that the stroller folds up so nicely and fits in the back of my car without an issue, but it is not nearly as maneuverable as the Kolcraft and the basket is good for nothing - you can't get anything in or out of it!! That's huge for me. Also, I wish I had the option of turning the seats around, but I guess that's asking too much. I like the stroller - I don't love it. It'll do.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The setup was pretty simple, but taking the backseat off and back on to use the standing option is tricky. I found that closing it up was a little difficult as well until you get used to it. Even then, the footrest or one of the canopies would pop off and I'd have to reattach. Also, the basket is very hard to reach and could have been better thought out. Beware that this will take up a lot of room in your trunk even when folded. When taking it for a test drive with an infant and a toddler, I think having my toddler in the backseat is a little uncomfortable since there is not much legroom. The infant seat did fit nicely and overall, it was a nice ride. I had a little trouble getting onto an uneven sidewalk, but that's to be expected with smaller wheels. Unlike a single stroller where you can lift it up on its back wheels to get over, you have to get up front and lift it over. Not sure how this stroller would work on anything other than a paved surface because it is pretty heavy. I do think this is a great value since it wasn't very expensive comparatively and has the standing or second seat option which I haven't seen anywhere else. This way my toddler can still snooze when we go on our long walks.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
ok, this is the BEST purchase i made, i was skeptical bc i couldnt see it in person first, but i dont regret getting this. my toddler(19 mnth boy) loves it fits in both tandem options comfortably(he is tall) and loves the sit n stand feature in the back, they are so many ways to use this. im mainly useing the tandem version now bc my oldest wants to run off(what toddler dont, lol) i have an evenflo carseat for my 3mnth old, and it connects to the front perfect, but i dont put his carseat there, he has asthma so he cant have any wind, i bought the wheather cover but they didnt say it dont fit if theres a carseat attached to the front so i almost got upset but i put it in the back facing forward, and it fit perfect sitting in the seat and its totally secure and the canopys are huge, they do cover both kids great, and then my 30lbd toddler sits upfront, and steers like a dream. also my friends 6yr old daughter can fit and buckle in the front, (feet hang down,LOL) but i could still push n steer it with my 3mnth old in the back. despite what ppl say on here tht the basket is small(you have a platform to put stuff on too, and i went mall shopping with a friend and all of our stuff fit) or that its hard to get to(has snaps in the back and the sides are streatchy) so i disagree with them. it goes in the grass, dirt, pavement store isles and everything perfectly. its very simple fold, up, under 35 lbs, (if you think thts heavy then you dont need kids, lol, thts light for a dbl) and its not huge its not much bigger than a single travel system. its great going into the post office too, i always am taking in packages, bc my husbands deployed so i have to send big boxes, all i do i put them on the back put the stand buckle around them and go. i am very happy i bought this, and the price was not bad at all, i plan to enjoys this for many years to come.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The thought of pushing around 2 strollers was not appealing and knowing that my then 2yr old would quickly grow out of a regular double stroller (weight wise), we found the Double Sit 'n Stand and thought it was a fabulous compromise. Now 3 and 15months, the boys sit and ride in style and comfort.
The wheels are extremely rugged and they cushion the ride so as to not wake a napping baby. It manouvers just as well as a single stroller, it's just longer.
The only downfall is that the back seat does not adjust to a true upright position, but that won't matter once we switch to the Sit 'n Stand. The basket is a bit small, but that's never been a selling point for me.
I am very glad we found this stroller!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
its a great help to have one stroller that can transport a 2 month old and a 2 year old, and doesnt take up too much room in my car.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Really great product, I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old, and they love the stroller, I had originally purchased a one sitter for my 2 year old, before the 2nd child, and he hated it, never wanting to sit in it for more than 10 - 20 mins, this stroller, he loves it and had never ask to get out when we use it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is wonderful when you have kids close together, my 20 month was to little for the sit n stand when little sis came along. However I knew he wouldn't want to sit in a double for long. This was the best of both worlds. Second seat goes in and out easily sets up easy, cleans up nicely, nice large sun shades, and good wheels that can push through anything. I don't know that I would have left the house without this stroller. It is bulky, but I have yet to see a decent double stroller that is not! This is one purchase I never regretted.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I gave this to my daughter, who has a 17-month-old and a newborn. It is very well made and will do exactly as advertised. A great solution to how to travel/exercise with two small ones.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I would rate this closer to a 4.5 than a 4.
Overall I am very happy with this stroller. I had a very difficult time finding a double stroller that had wheels as rugged as these ones while still being comparable with the other features. It is easily assembled and is only a couple inches longer than my single stroller when folded up. The only downfalls I can find with it is that the basket is kind of difficult to get into and because it is completely under the seats, you don't have the ability to put larger stuff in it like you do w/ a single stroller.
The other problem I have is that the back seat is difficult to adjust. I can't get the straps tight enough for my son to sit up all the way. Even with my husbands help, he mildly reclines. I have yet to use the stand function of the stroller but because the back seat itself seems to be my biggest challenge, I doubt that I will have any complaints.
Great quality, nice look, steers nicer than my single stroller, LOVE the tires.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We have used the stroller as a sit and stand the majority of the time, but it is easy to convert to a double stroller. It takes up the entire trunk, but our old single stoller did as well.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We just got it and it has replaced our other two strollers. It is longer than I am used to but it folds up smaller than our other stroller and fits in our car easily. It's great for toddlers who either want to sit or stand.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This double stroller is so worth buying for parents with two children. I have a one and three year old and we take it wherever we go. It's so easy to manuever and lighter than what you'd expect it to be. There is a lot of basket space underneath. There is a cup holder tray in the front as well as on the handle bar which makes it conveniet to hold sippy cups, snacks, etc. We love the fact that the kids are sitting at one level as opposed to other stollers that are either top/bottom or elevated. It will have many years of use. We will be sending this as a gift for our sis-in-law who's expecting a second child.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Everything about this stroller is great except for the fact that there are no cupholders for the kids. There are two located by the pushbars, but my toddler likes to have on-demand access.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a wonderful stroller, very compact and easy to maneuver. The only drawback is that the basket is difficult to access when using both seats. It was also a little tricky to put together, but well worth it. I highly recommend this for anyone with two kids!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We bought this stroller to use with our 2 year old and new baby. We have been very happy with it so far. It is big, but it seems to maneuver well in stores or crowded areas. Our oldest child loves being able to look at the baby when they are in the stroller. My only complaint is how small the basket is under the stroller.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
It seemed fine, except it was too small for my 2 year old daughter. She is 35 inches tall (31lbs), and her head went over the seat top (in the back seat) and bumped up against the canopy. And there was essentially no foot room for her. The stroller itself seemed fine, but the backseat is way to small.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We love our double stroller! We researched a lot and ended up buying this because we can convert to a sit and stand for our 2 1/2 year old. I like the coverage of the shade (no sunlight in my daughters' eyes). The only thing I don't like is where my older daughter's feet are, which is above the storage space. All in all, we are happy with how easy it is to manuever and set up (quick). Although a little bulky and heavy, what can you expect from a double stroller when you want durability and comfort?
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I do love this stroller. Just wish they would make the wheels a bit larger. This is not the smoothest ride on grass. Is great when out and about on pavement, but rough ground gets pretty bumpy. The basket is pretty much a waste, but there really is no other way to do it and keep the compact size.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller! I have a 15 month old and a 3 week old and it's great to get them both around. The only down fall I would say is that though the stroller has a storage basket it's not that easy to get into. And its a little heavier than normal strollers but that's to be expected. Other than that, it's great. I haven't converted it to all the other positions yet but the instructions are pretty easy to follow and the set up took my husband maybe 10 min. I've already told 2 people to get online and buy it!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Obviously, a double stroller of any usefulness is going to weigh more than a single stroller, but it's not like it's impossible to lift either. I am impressed with how easily this one folds, and how easy it is to steer, even with one hand. The only improvement I'd make is to the rear wheels. The front has double wheels while the rear only has single, and I've noticed they aren't nearly as sturdy as the front ones, as one would imagine. I'm thinking of getting a spare set of rear wheels just in case. It's still an excellent stroller overall though.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I'm so glad I found this stroller. I have a one year old and a new baby. I needed something to hold my car seat and small child. I didn't want to buy a whole new car seat and stroller so this was perfect b/c it holds most car seats. Its easy to move around and my husband loves the two cup holders.....men are so easy!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We bought this stroller to accomodate our 2 year old and newborn. I love the snap 'n go feature so I can keep my newborn in her carseat. We have a Peg SIP carseat and it fits well. My 27 month old son fits okay in the back stroller seat. He is very tall for his age but the canopy still clears his head. He seems to like the stroller very much. You do have to lift him in and out of the seat and his feet often get stuck. We have not yet used the sit 'n stand feature. We recently used the stroller at the airport and it was great, especially when having to run to catch our connecting flight. It folds up easily and is not overly heavy for a double stroller. It does not fit well, though, through the xray belt at security. Overall, I am very pleased with this stroller. I do wish the front seat was adjustable (only has one small recline) but the back seat reclines a bit more. I hope it continues to accomodate our needs as our children grow over the next year.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller. I looked at other double strollers, but this one is the best value, very smooth ride, easy enough to maneuver (for a double stroller) and isn't as bulky as the others. My sister had purchased one that I was able to try out. I really liked it, but wanted to research the others on the market. I reviewed others from the various baby stores, but came back to this one for the reasons above and am very happy with this purchase. My 4 month old's car seat (Graco Snugride) fits well in the front and my very big 2 year old sits comfortably in the back. The storage underneath the stroller is sufficient and is not that hard to access. I have used the stroller for walks in the neighborhood as well as shopping at the mall. It folds up nicely, but I have some issues with the plastic locking mechanism. It seems that it is too long and doesn't stay hooked when I transport it which makes it difficult to maneuver when it is folded up. Watch out for that and don't try to manuever it with one hand. Other than that, looking forward to many more walks and shopping adventures!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
It is a double stroller so its going to be a little more difficult to maneuver, but its not bad at all. I love the fact that you can use it in so many different ways. My toddler loves the front seat so my infant sits in the back. That way he can lay down also. If my toddler feels like standing he can do that too, while our infant sits in the front. It is easy to convert to all the different uses also. I am very pleased with this stroller.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this stroller because I have two children who are close in age (only 20 months apart). So, I needed a stroller to accommodate a newborn and a toddler. This one fit the bill because I can leave my newborn in her infant car seat and and easily transport my toddler all at once. It collapses easily. The storage below is a little difficult to access, but for me that is a small price to pay for the convenience of safely and efficiently transporting two little ones. It would be nice if it were less heavy, but for the price, I didn't expect post-space-age technology.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a great double stroller. My only complaint is that when you fold it up it is very bulky and very heavy. I have an SUV and it is a good thing because it takes up the entire back of the car.
If you use the second seat in the back you have no access to the basket underneath, so be prepared. You can only access it when you have the second seat out or on of the children is out of their seat.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
its not heavy, my 9 year old can drive it and helps place the babies in it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The stroller was very durable and easy to put together, however when I put my infant in the car seat in the front position of the stroller it gives my two year old in the back position full access to the infant. Also the bigger kid now had no view because of the car seat in the front, making the baby the only thing he could see (and touch) poor set up.plus [...]

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am a parent of a newborn and 1 1/2 yr old. I walk every night so this has been a blessing for me. I wish the second seat had a tray or cup holder. My toddler likes to drink and eat on our walks! It would be better if infant carrier would fit in the back so my older child could see but works well for our needs. It also fits my Chicco infant carseat which was hard to find! It is easy to fold, put together, and use for its size.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I used the double stroller on my vacation. First in the airport it was easy to maneuver and fold up especially at security check points. Then on vacation and the many stops we made it was easy to load and unload the stroller. This product is so light weight and manageable that my six year old was able to push the stroller while my husband and I handled the luggage. This is a great product and I really love it!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller, it holds my 20 month old and 1 month old. I had a hard time finding a double stroller that had seats, held an infant carrier and had a sit and stand option. It's easy to fold, a little heavy and big, but works well. We use it everywhere we go with 2 kids. My son is getting to the stage where he wants to walk so we'll be using the stand option soon, which is a great feature.
I would like it more if the front canopy had a back to it because my older son tries to give my infant his cup and food because he's right behind her and he wakes her up. I would also prefer if there was an option to put the infant in the back so the older child could see what is going on and have use of the snack tray, and more leg room (we're not using the stand option yet, so that's why I'd prefer to have the older child in the front). The basket doesn't hold quite as much as my regular stroller and is hard to get to, which is annoying when you are carrying things fir young children (I think this is due to having the back open for standing room so you can't really complain because there's nothing they can do about that). If you aren't using it with a standing child, you can easily hang a bag on the back and it doesn't get in your way.
Even though I have a few suggestions/complaints, it's the best out there and works well! I highly recommend it (and hope they consider our suggestions for the next model).

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I was hestitant to purchase this stroller at first because of the reviews of it being too heavy, too long and/or not enough leg room for the rear passenger. But after reviewing other strollers (many of which had the same cons), I had to keep in mind that this IS a double stroller. Having said that, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I have a 2 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and the infant seat fits perfectly in front and my toddler loves riding in the seat behind it (we don't have a complaint about the leg room). The ride is very smooth and though it is heavy, it's easy to push and very durable. It is also easy to set up and fold down. The only complaints I have are: 1) it is a little hard to turn given it's length and 2) the basket is not very accessible so we don't use it. But overall, I'm very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a double stroller.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Before we purchased this product I was afraid that my older child would not fit in the rear seat. He is 36" tall and weighs about 34lbs. He has enough room without letting the foot rest down. He is quite comfortable and the newborn in the front does not interfere with his big brothers space. We love it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is exactly what I have been looking for. It works perfectly for my 2-1/2 year old and newborn right now, as we use it with our Chicco carseat/carrier on the front. And I plan to use it as a traditional double stroller when our baby is bigger, and finally as a sit and stand when our older child is comfortable hanging on. It was surprisingly easy to assemble, and it folds compactly. It's not much heavier than our single stroller, yet it has sturdy construction and rugged wheels. A great value for our family!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am so glad that I purchased this stroller. I went "test-driving" other strollers in the stores and they were all bulky and didn't maneuver well. This one is great. I have a 13-month old and a 6-week old and they both fit very well in the stroller. My 13-month old loves that she can see the baby. The stroller is heavy but all double strollers are heavy, so you can't expect otherwise. I was hesitant to purchase because I didn't get the chance to test it, but it works very well. The only thing that bothers us is when it is folded, then front canopy doesn't fold well. Other than that, the stroller is great and would recommend to anyone.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
After many weeks of researching every stroller that could potentially accomodate my 21 month old and my 2 month old I believe this is the one! I have actually tried two other double strollers prior to ordering the Sit 'N Stand Elite Double Stroller. The first, a side by side by the makers of my favorite single stroller, did not fit my son who is in the 99% for height and 65% for weight with very broad shoulders. The next stroller, also very popular, featured the kids pretty much one over the other which drove my son crazy as he likes to see the world as we venture out, something I encourage as well. I saw the Elite and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out even though I was a bit leary after reading some of the reviews regarding leg room.
First off, very easy to put together. Next, folding and opening is very smooth. Be sure to read the manual before closing so you don't bend something the wrong way (on the stroller, not you!) Folded, the stroller is actually the exact same size as my single stroller. Like magic! It is compact and pretty lightweight considering that it is a double. The rubber wheels are well worth the extra $$. I went back and forth on the extra cost but am very pleased when I compare my stroller to a friend's. Our maiden voyage was to some retail shops with tight aisles and I had no problem making my way through the stores. My infant was comfy in his carrier which attaches quite easily and securely. My toddler, who is not usually a stroller man, fell asleep withing a few minutes of getting in. He had plenty of leg room once a couple of snaps were undone. It is a bit strange to have his feet in the storage basket (my initial concern) but he looked pretty comfy and has some room to grow. Not sure about putting anything large in the storage while he is sitting but you can access the storage from the sides. I just used stand bar for diaper bag. The sun shades are large and offer excellent coverage. I had no difficulty removing the second seat to turn into a stand feature. The Stand feature needs padding and a cup holder for the toddler would be nice. Minor issues that can be overlooked for all the other great qualities. I am quite pleased with this stroller and look forward to many adventures with it.

The only thing that would make it better would be a selection of oolors and fabrics.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The best thing about this stroller is the multiple options you have. The front seat holds an infant car seat and a smaller child when they can sit forward. The back seat functions as a forward facing seat, rear facing seat or platform to stand on. All these options for a 2 1/2 year old are what sold me. It does take up a bit of space though, even folded - but what a great stroller for those who prefer an in-line setup versus a double wide!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I don't know how I got along without this stroller. It is great. Sure it is big, but that is to be expected with a double. I love it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am the parent of a two yr old girl and we are expecting a boy in October. I wanted a stroller that we can grow into and we love the sit and stand option.I was impressed with the quality and construction. It looks more expensive, the material on the seats and canopies are made well and the color is great. We live in Florida and I think they won't be sweaty on the seats like other stroller material that we have seen. There is elastic on the sides of the storage area so access is easier. I ordered the stroller organizer that attaches to the back for handy access to diapers, bottles etc. That way we don't have to keep reaching for the diaper bag underneath, even though it fits well. It stears very easy and it folds up easy. It becomes heavier when you attach the infant carrier to the front. We have the Peg Perego infant carrier which is heavy by itself. [...] The only thing missing is the snack tray for the back seat. I purchased the clip on snack tray-not sure that it will work with this. It clips too low, not leaving enough room under it for their legs. I will probably put my two yr old in the front to use the snack tray and the second baby in the back when he is out of the infant carrier. The lack of the snack tray in the back is the only negative. Everything else is perfect. This stroller steers just as well as my single [$] peg perego and we love the closed compartment at the top for keys or cell phone. Very handy.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this for my daughter who has 2 babies less than 1 year apart.
She looked at many and liked the versatility of this double stroller.
We took her oldest to the zoo and by the end of our trip she was restless and wanted to stand in her stroller. Her old stroller wasn't made for that. This one will allow her to sit when she wants and stand when she wants.
Also the bar for the infant carrier is wonderful. Just take it from the car and attach it to the stroller.
Huge wheels make it so you could even take them off roading. lol!....Just kidding. The wheels are very nice for every surface. Very easy to maneuver.
The basket is large and roomy. I like the fact that it's underneath the seats. It offers more security for your purse, camera, etc.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We purchased this item for our son and daughter in law when she was expecting their second child. She has used it several times since the birth. Her only complaint is that is is a little heavy but otherwise a great product that fills the need.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this stroller as I'm expecting my second childin a few weeks. My older daughter is 2.4 months old and I wanted to find a stroller that could accommodate both her and the new baby. I was going to buy a Joovey Sit n' Stand, but then realized that my 2 year old still falls asleep sometimes and I would be stuck with no place to have her recline and continue to sleep, which helps mommy out ALOT! When my stroller arrived I was super excited and still am! [...]I love how intuitive this stroller is as you are assembling it. I didn't even have to look at the manual to figure out how to add the canopies, foot rest, or adjust things. My husband just popped the wheels on and we were ready to go! The stroller is very well made, folds up pretty compactly considering it is a double stroller (my GRACO stroller is about the SAME size as this), and it is light, in my opinion. I also love how the stroller is quite narrow, but spacious enough for my 2 year old (I do have to fold the back footrest back). Not to mention that this stroller is VERY attractive! I love it, love it, love it!
My daughter loves it too!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I'm using this now with my infant car seat in the front and my 2-year old in the back. There is very little leg room for the two year old and the basket is nearly impossible to access or store anything in. Overall though, it was the best double-stroller I tried.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Overall a wonderful stroller. Definately worth buying.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
When I gave birth to my 2nd son I was desperate to find a stroller that would allow me to take both a newborn and a toddler OUT. I also wanted a stroller that would grow with my family. This stroller was my saving grace. Now my boys are 3yrs and 1 1/2yrs and I still use it all the time with the sit-n-stand option. I highly recommend this stroller to anyone on the go!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Right before the birth of my second child I had visions of my 23 month old turning into a perfect little angel who ALWAYS listens and thought I'd never need to get a double stroller. Then the epidural wore off and reality hit me!
So, that's when the search for a double stroller began. After asking friends and moms on the street hands down everyone told me how wonderful the Sit and Stand Elite Double Stroller was and I have to agree! Also, the plus with buying it through One Step Ahead is it's the only place I've found where it comes with the rubber tires instead of the plastic ones found on the Sit and Stands at other stores.
The one thing that I wish I could change on the stroller is the leg room in the back seat. If/when you chose not to use the infant car seat and put the younger child in the back, it really isn't an issue anymore. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller!!! I was worried that my Graco infant seat wouldn't fit in the infant carrier because of reviews I had read, but it works perfectly.
I was amazed how easy it is to push, and it's a very smooth ride. I was concerned about the storage because I read it was hard to get to, but it opens from the side, and I have no trouble accessing it. Assembling it was easy, and setting it up and putting it down is really easy to do. It's large... but not considering it's a double stroller.
I love the stroller, and would buy it again. I have already recommended it to friends.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
my boys are 2 yrs apart and this has been a useful stroller especially when I have them alone. We have not used the standing part since our 2 yr old needs to be confined. Worked well with my carseat when my 10mth old was a newborn. Steers well.
It is rather heavy to stow in the back of my minivan and the leg room in the rear seat is limited. I would have liked the front seat to go back further. These are the only complaints I have but the positives outweigh them by far.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I originally picked out this stroller before my second son was born, but had trouble commiting. now that i have it i wish i had gotten it sooner to use with the new baby. if your older child is fighter, don't try to put him/her in the back. also, the rear seat has a full cloverage canopy--great for a sleepy little one. and the snack tray fits on some other babytrend strollers!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a 2 year old and a baby on the way. I researched EVERY double stroller on the market that I could possibly find. Believe me, with a PhD, I have research down to a science. I looked at double strollers in both the most high end, pricey stores AND the least expensive stores in the area. I also have to confess that at a recent trip to an amusement park, I eyed every stroller that rolled by in my search for the perfect fit. In the end, no double stroller seemed to be a perfect fit for our growing family. However, this one really does seem to fit the bill.
I did not want to spend too much, because I am not certain my 2 year old will be willing to ride in a stroller much longer. Right now, she will sit occasionally and will even nap in the stroller. Uncertain if this will last, I thought it would be a good idea to select a stroller with the sit and stand feature for my toddler and cozy seat for my infant. Other sit and stand strollers on the market have problems. For instance, if you recline the front seat, the toddler loses her seating space in the back. This stroller doesn't have that problem. I will be able to recline my infant and my toddler will still have a seat behind her. I also really like how I can strap my toddler into the sit and stand seat.
As for the infant seat, it's very easy to strap in our Graco infant carrier. I think it will work well for us!
The fold is easy and I really like the color!
The only thing I DO NOT like about this stroller are the pesky sunshades. They look strange when folded up and just seem to poke out of nowhere. However, they are easy to remove. I will probably leave them at home most of the time.
All around, this is a good stroller for a VERY good price. In the future, if I feel the need to purchase a side by side jogging stroller, the One Step Ahead jogger looks like another great purchase.

I have a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old. We have been using the stroller since my 2nd was born and love it. Yes, it is big and bulky... but find me a double stroller that isn't. Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I wanted to love this stroller, but I sent it back. I took it out 3 times. It was so tiresome to push. The front wheels do not roll freely and offer resistance to push, not something you want when pushing two kids. I was pushing a 25 pound 3 year old and a 5 month old and still had a difficult time. I have other Baby Trend products, but didn't care for this one. The basket was a good size. Instead of taking the rear seat out, we would fold it forward when my older daughter wanted to stand. The rear seat didn't sit up right, it reclined some which wasn't comfortable for an older child who wants to see everything. Sorry had to get a different brand that is much easier to push.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
First off, let me say I have been looking for a double stroller since I was 5 months pregnant. My son is now 2 months and I am so happy with my final decision! I originally got one from a well known retailer, and I was shocked when I set it up and my 18 month old son was too big for the seat! We took it back and I began my search again. EVERY one I tried out was too small for my son! I ended up hesitantly purchasing this one. I was worried that I would be stuck with it because it wouldn't be worth it to pay to ship it back if it didn't work out. Boy was I happily surprised. My son fits wonderfully in the back seat and my newborns car seat fits great in the front seat. Yes, it is hard to get into the storage basket when he's in the back seat, but I can put my bag on the back step or else hang it on the bar. I have not tried my son on the step because he is still content in the seat. It is easy to fold up and amazingly easy to steer. I was worried about how heavy it was going to be but again, I am pleasantly surprised! Not much heavier than my single stroller. The only thing I wish it had was seats that reclined a little bit more. But my oldest son naps just fine in it so it's not a big deal!!! HIGHLY recommended, especially for the price!!!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The first stroller we received veered to the right quite a bit, but I didn't think it was a big deal until my two kids got heavier and then it was really hard to push. [...]They were so easy to work with and my new stroller is perfect! It fit my Graco Snug Ride infant car seat wonderfully. I have plenty of room to stash stuff in the bottom storage container, too. I am very happy with this stroller and One Step Ahead!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have only been using this stroller since the birth of my second child 4 weeks ago. My newborn always rides in her carseat and my 22 month old sits or stands in back. She loves to sit on the little bench and ride. She can't really ride with the seat in the back because there is no leg room and it is almost impossible to store things in the basket. It's also rather heavy especially right after having a baby. It's also a little hard to steer. I have never used another double stroller so I do not really have anything to compare it to.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The stroller is very good. my only complaints are that it is off balance and there fore difficult to push on uneven surfaces, the infant seat attachment was cumbersome and made it very heavy to push, and the seats do not recline. This stroller has been very good and durable we have had it almost a year. my 2+ year old loves the sit and stand and it folds nicely to fit in the car.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am a mother of a 5 year old, 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old. I researched and researched moderately priced double strollers. I had a Graco Duo Glider in the past and almost bought another one, but I liked the sit-and-stand feature. I knew that I was sacrificing storage for this model, but I was surprised to discover that the Duo Glider is a lot more comfortable than this one because the seats are very short on the sit-and-stand. My 2 1/2 year old is small for his age and his head still rests above the top of the seat by about 2 inches, so in essense, when he is relaxing, his head does not actually rest on the built-in side pillows on the seat, but rather, above them...doesn't make any sense. Also, there isn't a lot of leg room unless you un-snap the foot rest of the back seat. Once you un-snap, it is better, but you lose even more storage space. I haven't used the sit and stand feature yet, so maybe when I start to use that I will be able to overlook the lack of storage and the size of the seats. I sure wish they could design a strap or detachable mesh bag that could be used as storage in the back of the stroller above the board. Something that could hold a diaper bag in place with out worry that it will fall out.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is the ultimate stroller in my opinion. I have three children: ages 3, 2 and 5 months. This stroller is a life saver! Let me start by saying that we have owned a single and traditional double (front/back) stroller. This stroller is by far the easiest to use and store. Our previous double stroller would not easily fit in our car so we rarely used it. The Sit n Stand Elite Double easily fits in our Passat (it folds up to about the same size as our single stroller); the wheels and canopies come off easily. It is relatively light weight considering it is a double.
The rubber wheels allow for easy maneuvering and the back seat removes easily to allow usage as a traditional sit 'n stand. The under storage container is relatively large and is easily accessible through the side of the stroller.
I think this is the best option for any family with more than one small child. I would highly recommend this stroller to someone expecting twins or planning on having more than one child. If only one child is riding in front, the back can double as a great shopping cart!
The Elite stroller seems to pass its competition, in my opinion. I compared the three main Sit ‘n Stand brands and found this stroller to be the best quality by far and the most competitive price for what you get. The pattern on this stroller is traditional and clean cut.
If you’re looking for a stroller that is going to last and meet your needs, you must purchase this one!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We just recently recieved this stroller and immediately I was impressed with how small it folds and when it is unfolded it isn't terribly long. Most doubles I was looking at seemed like you were pushing a limosine, but this one isn't like that at all. The stroller itself is very sturdy and you can tell it is made of quality materials. My only complaints is that I wish there were a cup holder in the back seat for my toddler and it would be nice if one of the seats would fully recline for a sleeping baby, but those are small details compared to everything else the stroller offers.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a 12 month old and 28 month old and this is the best double stroller I have ever used! If you do not close it correctly (see the insturctions) you can damage the back support on the back seat [...]
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Overall liking the stoller, my 2 year old is loving the sit and stand feature but he does not fit in the back seat so I will have to wait until my 4 week old can be in the back seat before using it or just keep it as a sitnstand. The under seat storage is good size. I do hate that when it's folded that the wheels don't stay in a "rolling" direction so I have to lift and pretty much throw the thing into my mini van.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I purchased this stroller for my daughter who just had a newborn son and 22 month old son. My grandson was sitting in the stroller before we completed assembly trying it out. We went to the mall to try the stroller and were 100% satisfied with the ease of loading and unloading and setting the stroller up. It worked perfectly for the baby to sleep while big brother sat behind. The Graco car seat snapped in with ease and the wheels made it so easy to turn. We found no problem with the storage compartment below as other reviewers had stated. We had many shoppers stop to ask where we had purchased the stroller and they too were impressed. We would definitely recommend the stroller to anyone with two children and are confident that it will meet our future needs. [...]

I have the Sit 'n Stand Double Stroller and my Mom (who watches my kids) has the Sit 'n Stand Elite Stroller. We love them. They are both easy to take with you, easy to maneuver, and toddler friendly. My toddler helped put it together and then was SO excited to sit/stand in his "big boy" area of the stroller.
The only down I can find so far is accessing the basket. It would be great if the toddler bench unlocked and lifted to allow easier access to the basket. Other than that - it is perfect!!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Grandpa was able to set up in a short time. It is easy to position car seat securely in place, and 34 month old brother had no problem climbing into rear seat, although it is a little shy of leg room. Will switch to "jump seat" position, shortly. Easy to maneuver, even one-handed. Easy to collapse and open for use. Difficult to access storage area in bottom.

This is lightweight and fits well in my car (better than my single stroller). It is easy to push and turn. I have used it for the last year with my daughters (now 1 and 3). Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a 2 month old and a 19 month old. I use this stroller a lot and I love it. We haven't used the standing part yet because My eldest is still a bit small for that feature. As many people have said it lacks leg room in the back seat. My daughter is short and it's still a tight fit. It is a bit cumbersome, but it is a double stroller afterall. Overall a great buy.
Also, the canopy on our stroller was ripped when we received it, but they sent us a replacement at no cost.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Right now this stroller is not working for me so I am still on the fence. I have a 23 month old and a 2 month old infant. My older son does not have much room at all to move his legs and he is on the small side. The basket is impossible to get to. I keep my diaper bag on the step at the bottom (It works well!!) I am also have a tough time adjusting the straps they are threaded differently and difficult to adjust. I think this will work better when my younger son is not in the infant seat or when my older son can use the sit and stand. This is very easy to open and close. You definitely need to use both hands to lift but not bad for a double.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this for my 7 week and 18 month old after reading the various reviews. I thought this was a good option since I was looking for front/back set-up instead of a side-by-side. I was encouraged by the easy set up, however, was really astonished to see how LONG the stroller is when the car seat is in place. More than that, my Graco Snug Ride car seat DOES NOT fit properly contrary to what is advertised...it appears the car seat is too long thus the seat reclines (unsafely) more than it should. Additionally, this stroller is difficult to manuever even when simply pushing/pulling it to rock my infant to sleep in the dining room...seems the wheels don't stay straight (maybe there's a lock that I don't have in place?). Bottomline...this stroller is really long when using it with an infant car seat, really heavy (advertisement does not quote weight), and very cumbersome to use on flat surfaces (curbs are not even feasible since the wheels are so small and the stand is so close to the ground). I'm so sad I paid this much $$ since it doesn't meet my basic needs.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I searched all over for a stroller that converted to something that would work for our family for years to come. This was the only one that I found that didn't cost an arm and a leg. The ride is smooth, it looks great, and our daughter (22 months) loves it. The best part was the easy set up. I was worried that it wouldn't fit into our compact car trunk but it did with no problems (and didn't take up the entire space). Really good buy!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
When I bought this stroller I thought is was a great idea. When I recevied it the stroller was very heavy and there is no leg room in the back seat for a toddler. My son does no like riding in the back of the stroller cause he has no leg room.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Wonderfull, but I don't like that can't stand by itself when you fold it, so you have to put it on the paviment and make it dirty but in general; I will buy it again
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I was so excited to get this stroller, but disappointed with the little foot room given to the back seat child...this is a serious problem if you're considering purchasing this for use with a toddler...if I would have realized this in advance, I would have never purchased this stroller...

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is durable and rolls smoothly. Other than that I'm not a fan. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a double stroller but this one does not fold very flatly and is extremely cumbersome when folded. It is easy to fold and unfold, though. My biggest complaint is that only the front seat accomodates an infant seat. I have a two year old and a newborn. The foot space for the back seat is limited, even for my petite two year old. When getting him out of the seat his feet get caught and I have to struggle to get him out. Also, with his newborn sister sitting in front of him his view is extremely limited and he is constantly tempted to annoy his sister. He's either yanking off her blanket, pulling her feet or waking her up when she's trying to sleep.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We really do love this stroller, however we have a few suggestions of how it should be made better. It's great to have the option of using the toddler seat or converting it to a standing platform...most sit and stank strollers don't have that option. However, when the seat is set up the storage is near impossible to reach. Also, my toddler is a bit cramped in that back seat (the infant car seat sits in the front), and there are no cup holders for her drinks or a place to put her snacks, and its hard to her to see out and get a view outside the stroller. Anyway, overall its a great stroller, this is just what I've noticed so far.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am a mom of a 2 year old and a newborn. Before our second baby arrived my husband and I began searching for the perfect stroller.....there is no such thing, however, this one comes close. I was a little hesitant to order it at first , only because I couldn't test it out being online only purchase. We have it for a few weeks now an I don't have many complaints. It isn't as light as I would have liked but what can you expect from a double stroller. On the other hand it is sturdy and maneuverable and offers many seating options. It is a stroller that will grow with our family and allow us to get use of it for a few years to come. I highly reccomend it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I absolutely LOVE this stroller!! I was hesitant to spend the money on a double stroller because my 2 year old is hard to contain for any period of time, and I wasn't sure I'd get any use out of it. I was also nervous about buying one online (sight unseen) because some of the models I had tried out in the store were very difficult to maneuver or cheap looking. I went ahead and ordered it anyway because it was the only one I found that allowed the kids to face each other (when the baby is in the car seat) and had the double stroller AND stand-on option. After using it, I can't say enough good things about it!! I have a 2 year old, and a 3 week old, and without this stroller, I probably would never leave the house! My 2 year old LOVES the stand option, but we're still using the double seat setup in public until she's a little older. She sits in it for our entire outing without complaint, because she gets to look at her sister, and it's totally comfortable for her. I also can't stress enough how easy it is to collapse, and it handles like a DREAM! It is such a smooth ride, and has a really tight turning radius (which is suprising because it's pretty long!). The only thing I would change, is improve the access to the storage basket. It's nice and large, but almost impossible to access with the double seat setup, and the baby in a car seat. But I'm able to put the diaper bag on the back where the footstand is, so it's ok. Once I take out the second seat, it will be much more accessible. This stroller is worth every penny, and it's even a lot more affordable than some other models I've seen that have less features! I HIGHLY recommend this stroller!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller. I get compliments on it all the time. It is easy to set up, close, and change from double to sit and stand. My 3 year-old is very happy to be riding in it and loves to play and talk with her baby brother, since they face eachother for now, while he's still in his infant carrier.
I only wish they made the understorage expandable-- to extend over the standing platform, so that you can use it more effectively when the double stroller is in use. My daughter's legs and feet occupy most of the storage space when she is in the double setup. It would also be nice if it had a removable storage bag that hooked onto the handle.
Really, my only complaint with this stroller is the lack of storage, otherwise it is an increadible bargain and so versatile and easy to use.
Highly recommend!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This will be our second. We bought our first one 3 1/2 years ago. Although it is still functional and in great shape, we want the updated version for our new addition! We are so excited! This is the greatest stroller ever!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am so sorry that I didn't order this stroller sooner. It is comfortable for my 20 month old and my 2 month old. The baby carrier fits well and my son has plenty of room. The stroller moves fluidly and is very easy to turn, especially in tight places like elevators. I can easily lift it and it fits in the trunk of both of our sedans with room to spare. It takes up less room than my Graco single stroller.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
It is very easy to push and about the same weight as my regular Graco stroller. It is a little hard to fold up, canopy has to be in right position. Basket underneath is harder to get to and smaller than I thought it would be. Overall really like it! Cost is reasonable.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a 22 month old and a 4 month old and this is one of the BEST baby items I have EVER purchased. I can't even begin to say how happy I am with this stroller. [...] it is easy to put together the few parts that aren't already attached. This stroller pushes so nicely. The wheels are a rubber, which is what I think makes it so easy to push. The stroller is no bigger than my single stroller I had. Takes up the same amount of space in my car trunk-I drive a Toyota Camry-(as long as I take off the front shade, which only take a second to do) I also don't think it weighs very much....compaired to my single stroller(safty 1st jogging stroller) it mayb only be a few pounds more, which I would expect since there is another seat on it! I think the space underneath is plunty for a diaper bag and anything else you may want to put in there. AND you can get to your stuff from the side which is nice.I have gotten so many compliments on my stroller and I've only had it for about 3 wks. I couldn't be happier with it!!!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This item seems very sturdy, but my son, (who is 22 months) has to turn his feet sideways in order to slide them down when he sits in the rear seat. Not a problem if he climbs in or out, but he always gets stuck if we try and lift him out. Not much storage in basket either. We bought a new diaper bag with a shoulder strap so that it will go over the handle bar. Our single stroller was a light-weight one, so this stroller seems very heavy to us right now. Have not used the stand position yet. As of right now, it is serving the purpose we need it for.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I really shopped around to find the "perfect" stroller for my newborn and my 24 month old. Several that I looked at were heavier, had less features and were more expensive. This stroller folds easily (without removing a seat) although in order to latch it closed, the infant seet strap needs to be removes (I just leave it on and don't latch it).
I have used this stroller mostly on sidewalks or pavement--it works well on these surfaces, but it is a bit harder to steer on the dirt road we live on. My husband says that the handle bars should be wider apart so he has more leverage, but I don't have a problem with that.
My daughter sits in the back in the regular child seat. We haven't let her know yet that it converts to a sit-and-stand, but she loves the stroller and asks to go for walks often now.
The only difference I think is note worthy is that in this stroller the infant seat sits up front, facing the "big kid" seat. Sometimes my toddler tries to play with my newborn, whose feet and legs she can reach.
In all, I would recommend this stroller for anyone who has two kids who are different ages (I don't think it would work that well for twins before they could sit up on their own.) or for twins who are old enough not to need an infant carrier.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
My wife calls this the "Cadillac" of strollers for a couple of reasons. The ride is very nice. It has solid rubber tires, not the plastic/rubber tires on most strollers. This gives it a smooth roll on most surfaces, and turns easily. She also calls it a "Cadillac" because it is Huge! I know its for two children, and I expected it to be larger than a regular stroller, but my wife, all 5'2" of her, has a hard time seeing the front of it with the infant carrier on board. Even with that though, she really likes this stroller better than all of our others.
There is a large storage basket underneath it, which is easily accesable, even with the kids in the stroller. It has elastic sides that pull out nicely. There is plenty of room for our older daughter's feet, who sits in the back seat. And even when she gets a little bigger, her feet can hang down into the basket.
All in all, this is a great stroller for the price. I would recommend it to anyone who has two little ones to move around.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We are so happy with this stroller.I have told all my friends, family and moms at the park too of what a wonderful stroller the Sit and Stand is. I have a 3 month old, 16mo. old, and 4 1/2yr old. The versatility is great and the ride is so smooth. We own 2 other strollers that will now be dust collectors! The double stroller is lighter and folds down more than the other single styles we have. So happy!!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I took my two yr and three month old boys and tried the Joovy and the local store version of Sit and Stand LX. Joovy (old model) was too expensive, lacking a backseat option, and horrible to steer. After much research online I decided it was this one or SnS LX. Other than colors and price I was unsure of the differences. It turns out this is [$]more and SO worth it. (Besides I shopped through [...] and negated the increased cost) The difference when side by side at the dept store was tires and fabric. These are solid rubber, will ride smoother and last lots longer. The fabric is so much better than the local store. It has a nicer padded headrest with mesh (breathable fabric). I look at the two like models of cars. This one has all the bells and whistles except a padded jumpseat. Since this is the last stroller I am ever buying I figure the [$]is well worth it. My kids deserve the most comfy ride I can give them.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I am a parent of two (only one year apart). I love this stroller! we use the stoller for everyday use (mall, zoo trips, parks, ect) it is easy to push, turns nicely, and comes apart easy. I say that b/c we leave it in the back of our car and it will not fit if I leave the front tray on and the sun shades. so I have to take them off and if we are outside I put them back on. One problem (what everyone else said) storage is hard to get to and some what small. Of course it is combersome it is a DOUBLE stoller. all in all I LOVE IT! my oldest son uses the sit and stand and loves it b/c he can get out easy and back in. If we use the double then my oldest sits in front (due to lack of room in the back)
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
So far I like it, and my kids seem to like it. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 10m.
Cons: The basket on the bottom is hard to get to, not sure on how much it can hold for I haven't used it to cary stuff yet.
To fold up and store, for space wise, you do need to take some parts off that stick out. And it is a bit heavy but not bad. It is still a bit long but not as long as the normal double strollers
Pros: It is easy to fold and unfold, Even though there isn't a lot of space for my 2 1/2 year old he could sit in the front if he wanted. Right now he loves sitting in the back seat. I like the idea that when he is ready I can take that back seat off and he has the standing option and yet sit if he gets tired. I like how this one has two cup holders up on the handle bar, so you can have a drink and there is a place for the child in the back seat. And the front seat has a cup holder too.
Ive read where people say that the chairs don't adjust very well. I feel that the back seat adjust very well and the front it does a bit and it does crowd the child in the back seat a bit. But hay they could be sitting in a hard non-adjustable car stroller in the mall that you have to pay 5 bucks for every time! So what ever you like.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a great stroller with a few items that need to be looked at. This stroller gives the children a smooth ride and is easy to turn. The wheels are VERY nice! As for the negatives... It is very hard to get into the storage basket, the back seat child does not have a lot of leg room when sitting forward in seat, and the back seat has a terrible method for reclining. It is very hard to get the back seat to sit upright. Overall this is a great stroller and I am glad that I bought the double stroller.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Cool idea, unfortunately if the back seat is not set up perfectly(and it's not terribly easy to do/undo), it can collapse and be dangerous. It can also appear to be attached when it is not, causing child to fall out of the back of the stroller(and land on their head). I like the flexibility of riding options but switching from one to another is time consuming and not very functional for someone with more than one kid.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Well I did look at a ton of doubles before getting this one. I liked the sit and stand feature which sold me on it. The only problems I have with it are:
1. With a toddler and an infant in the stroller there is no way to access the storage unit below unless you unload the toddler and unsnap the basket at the bottom. It's not good for shopping or accessing a diaper bag quickly. I would not purchace this if you really need to use the storage section.
2. With an infant in an infant seat at the front, the front canopy is great for extra protection against the elements until you go indoors and realize that you can't put the canopy down unless your toddler in the back wants to wear it around his waist. You can easily pull it off, but then you have to store it and again accessing the storage means taking your child out of the rear seat.
The stroller moves great, it is easy to stear and I love that aspect of it. It's easy to fold up, and if you have the canopies in the position that the instructions say they must be in for folding, it does fold without having to remove one of them, I know people wrote about that being an issue. Also the back seat does sit upright if you pull the straps behind that seat tight.
Over all I think it's a good purchase and I am not regretting it at all!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
After reading the reviews I was concerned with a few things, like leg room, snack tray, having the infant in the rear...I am so glad I stuck with my gut and chose this over the Contours. I have a 19 month old and so I really wanted the versatility with the sit n stand and the double seat option as well. After setting the stroller up, I put my infant carrier on it to try it out, and realized that yes I did not want the baby in the front. To make it work for me, I removed the rear seat and the infant carrier fits in the back just fine. (It will have to face forward though). Now my son will have a snack tray because he will be in the front. I am really loving it.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Great stroller. Envy of all of the "stacking" parents. Narrow enough to enter any doorway, apt., or store. Easy on and off for the mobile child. extreamly manuverable. Flexability that avoids tantrums. The parent-side shade can crush the fingers of the standing child if not removed.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
So far, so good. Others have complaints about the storage basket and lack of a tray for the child in the second seat. Those may be valid complaints, but really, we can't have it all. The basket is fairly easy to access from the side. This is a very smooth ride and the features we've used so far: using the car seat and the older child seat have been fabulous. We are now free to roam! It's less expensive than quite a few of the other double strollers with many, many more features. A good buy.
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Great for siblings close in age. When double stroller converts, the older sibling sits on plastic bench - not soft. Older sibling enjoys freedom of being able to get on and off easily.
I should be on commission as many people have stopped and asked me about the stroller and where I bought it.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I had to return this stroller because my 21 month old had no leg room in back when the car seat attachment was in. Also, her feet did not easily fit in when it was attached. I would not recommend it at all. Went with a side by side jogger... almost 600.00 but love it!
Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Probably the only thing I dont like about this stroller is when you have both seats in the stroller it is hard to figure out how to close up. Once I got the hang of it, it wasnt so bad. My husband used it less than me, so sometimes he would have a hard time. If you dont have it just right, it will not close up. When you get to the stage where the back seat comes out, it is much easier to fold. The storage is a little hard to access, but holds a lot of stuff, several coats, big diaper bag, small toys, etc. I looked at several double strollers in the stores and could not find anything to accomidate my younger daughter's infant seat(I didnt want to have to buy a whole other car seat). This one fit great. I love how the back seat converts to the little bench seat. My 33 month old loves it. She can hop on and off easily, but I can also strap her in. Over all, this is a great stroller. I would definitely recommend it.

I've used this stroller since my preemie baby came home from the hospital all the way to toddler-hood. My boys are 14 months apart and I would reccomend this super versatile stroller to anyone who had their babies close together. The tires are the best I've seen on this type of stroller.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a nice stroller and the rubber tires do make it nice to push and give it a sturdier feel. I just want to add some differences from this model and the regular sit 'n stand. [...] model does NOT come with a pad on the bend seat! So the ONLY difference in this stroller and those found on other sites is the rubber tires. Also, the "loop" handles for the child on the bench are a bit smaller which I'm assuming allows the back to accommodate the extra seat. The regular and the plus are both the exact same length and seem to be the same in weight. The basket is nice and big and accessible from the side. My 2 y.o. is kind of a "runner" so it's nice to have the back seat for now until she is old enough to stay on the bench. I'm happy I purchased the Sit 'n Stand plus over the regular one. I only gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because, at this elevated price, I would think a bench seat pad would be included (as with those on other websites).

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have a newborn and a 2 year old. I searched high and low and compared many double strollers. We had a Graco double given to us that was nice but our infant seat did not fit into the stroller (it wasn't a Graco) and I really wanted this stroller. Reading about it and seeing the pictures it seemed great. Well after getting it......we like it...not love it because.....there is no snack tray for the back seat which my daughter and I do not like (although I am going to by the attachable one they have and try it) my daughter is so tall that her feet go all the way down into the basket and with the basket being so small and hard to access it is pretty much useless. I hate that the back seat does not sit up all the way or go back enough for them to sleep.
Some good things are.....the tires are great and really make a difference in the ride. It is pretty strong and durable, the sit n stand option will be nice for when my daughter is a little older...it holds most infant car seat and has a strap to put over them for added safety. It folds up pretty easily.
Overall I would say it is well worth the money although it would be nice if they updated the stroller to fix a few of the flaws. I am stil glad we got the stroller and plan to use it for a few years. I do want to try to find something else like an attachable storage bag or something to make our outings more easier.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this stroller and i really like how durable it is (rubber wheels, etc.). The only problems that i have with it are:
1. i cannot get it to fold with the front shade attached (and i do have it folded backwards as they say to)
2. cannot access storage underneath
3. back seat does not sit upright
I do think its a GREAT price compared to Graco ($200 and up unless you find it on sale). I have a graco single stroller and this one is MUCH better quality.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller is perfect for my 2 yr old and 7 month old. I have been using it with both the infant seat and without. My 2 yr old loves the option of sitting, standing, or "resting" in the fabric seat. There is not a ton of storage and it is a bit hard to reach when you are using the fabric seat with an older child but my son can move his legs and likes to help. I also found that the wheels have to be just right to fold up the stroller but a quick shake usually does the trick. This is by far the easiest to use and lightest double I found, especially with the options of sit and stand. Also, my 2 yr old likes to put his feet on the rear wheels and "apply the brakes". My one suggestion for the manufacturer is to put a piece of plastic covering the wheels in the back so there is not temptation for the kids riding on the jump seat!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
There will never be a perfect double stroller (i.e. lightweight, roomie, compact, fits infant car seat, etc)... but this one comes close. It's definately lighter than most doubles and it's more versatile, giving older children an easy in/out. It also folds a little more compact than others I've looked at. I've had the stroller now for almost a year, and it's held up nicely. It can be hard to manuver as the kids get bigger and heavery, but that will be with any stroller you choose. It was perfect when our second son was born, the Graco Infant Car Seat fit in the front seat (you do have to use the straps they give you to keep the infant seat secure). Pretty soon, we'll be converting the back seat for my 2.5 year old so he can get in and out when he chooses (kind of). I'm pretty sure there is also a strap for that seat too. We find this stroller very worth the money when you NEED a ride for two!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I absolutely LOVE this stroller! It is a terrific way to have 2 strollers in one ~ a double and a sit 'n stand. I love having the option of how to use it. My toddler enjoys this stroller and asks to ride in it instead of her regular one. I love that it also accommodates so many different car seats for infants; my Graco snugride fits perfectly! It is easy to push/steer and is easily adjusted. Unlike many other doubles, it doesnt veer in one direction when I have both kids in it.
I tried out several double strollers before purchasing this stroller. Although this one is a bit heavy, they ALL are heavy, and this one is probably lighter than several of the others on the market. In the "con" section, I checked "cumbersome," but to be fair, it isn't anymore so than other doubles. A couple of reviews have mentioned that the basket is difficult to access or is too small. Well, when I measured it and compared it to others, it was no smaller than they are and larger than several. My large diaper bag will not fit, so I purchased a hook for my diaper bag, which works perfectly! The cup holders are nice and deep; the shades cover the seats very well and completely block out the sun and rain. When I couldn't decide whether I wanted a traditional double or a sit 'n stand, I discovered this ~ and it is perfect!
I have recommended this stroller to several friends, and they are all extremely happy with it, as well! Bottom line is that this is a fabulous purchase and highly recommended!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Okay, I love this stroller. I researched it a lot before I bought and picked this one. It steers relatively easily (for being a tandem) and it easy to fold up. My complaints are: the bottom storage is nearly impossible to get to so I hang my diaper bag over the back handle. Also, no snack/drink tray for the back kid. One more thing--the back seat reclines too far back and it doesn't stay up very good. I fixed this by extending a mini-umbrella and feeding it through the bars, behind the seat. That way I always have an umbrella with me, and my toddler can sit up easier.I wouldn't buy anything else and I have recommended this to many friends

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller was a serious disappointment, it is heavy, it doesn't fold easily unless you take off the front canopy, it is hard to push and steer, it feels cheaply made, and there is no leg room for my daughter (2 years old) her feet get stuck in the back seat. I wish I would not have ordered this stroller and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
The up-side to this stroller is the ease in set-up and compactability. Initially I was thrilled with the stroller for its conversion seat. Great idea. After using it though, I have a different opinion. I have a 3 yr old and a 7 mth old. Her Graco car seat snaps right in but does it lock in? Am I missing a locking device to keep it from tipping forward? My 3 yr old fits well in the back seat for the most part but there is limited leg room. Also the canopy over his seat doesn't lock in place. There is absolutely no access to the basket rendering that feature useless. The worst feature though is when both children are in the stroller, trying to maneuver anywhere is close to impossible. I am sorry to say I would not recommend this product to anyone and am currently looking to replace it myself. I dread the thought of taking it when we go on outings.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I bought this for my newborn and 2 year old. I liked that I had the option of strapping my older child in when needed or using the platform seat as she got older. This stroller really met my expectations. It is easy to steer, great quality of material and folds up compact enough to fit in my PT Cruiser. My only complaints (and they aren't strong enough for me to not recommend the stroller) are:
1. At times it is difficult to fold, I have to make sure the wheels are just right
2. As w/ other reviewers the back seat always seems to be reclined no matter what I do
3. It is not as easy to remove the back seat as I would have liked
As w/ most doubles it is bulky and heavy but not too bad.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I've researched sit n' stand strollers to death before I bought this one to use with my newborn and 2 yo. I looked at the double sit n stand from [...], the Right Start and One Step Ahead. Here is what I found. They are all made by Baby Trend and are all VERY similar. I ordered the one from [...] and really liked it except the tires were made of this cheap plastic and the ride was not very smooth. That is what led me to One Step Ahead. Their stroller has rubber tires which makes the ride much smoother and the tires have held up nicely. I really can't tell a difference between the strollers except for the tires but I believe the rubber tires are worth the extra $20 that you'll pay at OSA. I have noticed that several people complain that the back seat doesn't come to a full upright position BUT I found a fix. If you fully tighten the belt that is used in the stand option this holds the seat to an upright position. A car seat fits nicely in the front seat and my 2 yo loves the stand option. I can store the seat underneath just in case he gets tired and wants to sit more comfortably than on the neat bench seat. I do wish the underneath storage was more easily accessible. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Not a big deal though and, as I said, since all the sit n'stands I researched are by Baby Trend this is a problem with all of them.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Like the ability to for standing etc. even though haven't used that yet. My very small for his age toddler (20-months) is very uncomfortable in the back. No room for his legs and is hard to get him in/out. No storage to speak of. The tiny basket is impossible to get to when children in stroller. Works well with my Graco infant car seat and love the canopys when outdoors BUT when attached to the stroller it doesn't fit in the back of our Accura MDX SUV. Would not purchase again or reccommend.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
Just got this stroller in the mail. Wonderful! Sturdy, smooth, handles well. It folds smaller than my single stroller and about the same weight. I have a newborn and a 17 month old. The only real complaint is that the removable seat doesn't sit up as far as I would like and it's a little flimsy. But this is still the best double stroller out there for two kids close in age. You are never going to find perfect that's why I give it four stars.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I've been through quite a few strollers and this is the best. And it's the last one I'll buy. My then-4 year old and then-1 year old used it for 6+ months in Sit 'n Stand mode. Now my 2 year old and 5 month old use it in the double stroller mode. When the 5 year old wants to ride and the 2 year wants to walk it takes less than 2 minutes to convert it to Sit 'n Stand mode for him. And only a few minutes to switch it back. I've had 80 lbs of kid on this thing and it handled quite well. It folds easily and is the same size as my single graco stroller when folded. It's lighter than any other double I've used. I've had it for a year now and we use it at least 5 days a week. It's great in the mall, walking down the sidewalk or the day in a zoo.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
For the most part, I am happy with the stroller and its ease in mobility compared to other strollers that we looked at. I am disappointed with the way that my 18 month old has to sit in the rear seat. It seems that the rear seat does not completely sit upright. We obviously use the stroller when we go shopping as I am sure that many others do as well, however the storage space barely holds the diaper bag for two kids and lacks anywhere else to put shopping bags. At 90 pounds, this stroller is quite heavy. Compared to other strollers that we looked at and for the price, I would still recommend this stroller despite the above mentioned drawbacks.

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller! I used it with both seats for a few months after my daughter was born and have recently converted it to the sit 'n stand mode. Initial set up was very easy and removing the second seat was even easier! My 2 year old son loves to have the option to sit, stand, or walk. The color and print of the fabric is great- very neutral and not too busy. I like that the snack tray for the front seat is removable. The front canopy also has a wide range of motion, which is great. My son will pull it backwards all the way and hide behind it when he's sitting down. I don't have to worry about him breaking it! This is a fabulous stroller and I would recommend it to anyone with 2 young children!
ready to go!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This stroller was so easy to put together and it folds up easily. It even fits nicely in my trunk with room to spare. The only con I have with it is while using it in its doulbe combination you can't fit your diaper bag in the underneath storage basket. I will be able to when I put it in the sit and stand mode. Otherwise buy it!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I have been shopping for a double stroller for 6 months and finally found one with almost all the features my husband and I have been looking for. The other features we were looking for were fully reclining seats and options of reversing seats forward or backward. This stroller may have fallen short with those two features but make up with it with other options..
1)First of all love the concept of 2 children being able to ride behind each other which makes it easier to steer down tight corridors and doors.
2)The print is nuetral to be used for boys or girls ~ and we have one of each so perfect!
3)Love the option of taking out the back seat for my older child to have the choice to stand on the platform or sit on bench.
4)Collapses into the trunk of our Acura TL without a problem...In fact husband says it fits better than our single Graco Travel system. Which is huge when collapsed.
The bad things are so minor..
1) No cupholder for the backseat
2) Heavy to lift ~ but expected for a double
3) Options for both seats to recline or incline
Honestly pros outway cons by far...If you guys decide to buy this stroller I hope you enjoy it as much as we are!!!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
This is a really great double stroller! My very active, just turned 3 year old wasn't quite ready for the sit or stand option for each use, so we purchased the double stroller. In a few more months, I love being able to convert it to just a single stroller with the sit and stand option! The fabric is a great neutral print, it's very roomy for both my newborn in the carseat up front and my toddler in the back. It is big, but it is a DOUBLE stroller! Fold up is a cinch and fits well in the back of my SUV. I love that it has the storage area and that stuff won't fall out easily. The only complaints that I have about this stroller is that the removable snack tray doesn't fit in the second seat, my son feels a little slighted because he doesn't have one, too. Now searching for some kind of clip on deal for him to use...It would have been nice to have had two snack trays or at least have the one that does come with it fit both seat areas. The only other issue is I don't feel that the seat backs come up quite high enough for napping comfort, but my kid doesn't seem to mind. See, two very minor complaints....no biggies. Overall this is a great stroller, I would recommend it to anyone!

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
We love this stroller! You can't beat the price for all you get. It was easy to assemble, is easy to use, accomodates my car seat, light weight when pushing and easy to maneuver. I love the colors and design of the fabric (I have a boy and a girl so the neutrality of it is perfect). I love that there is the option to have both seats or to allow one child to stand/sit as they please.
My only complaints are the cup holders aren't very deep, the second seat does not come to a straight up and down position, that is there is always a slight lean backward, and the storage bin could be more easily accessible and maybe a little bigger.
The pros FAR outweigh the cons for me! This is a wonderful stroller at a wonderful price :o)

Comments about Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand Elite Double Stroller:
I love this stroller. I have a 3 1/2 Year Old and 10 month old. This stroller works great took it to the Zoo today, I have it set as the sit and stand so my 3 year old could walk and then rest. Worked fantastic. Easy to push, turn, I did notice that it was longer than other double strollers, but the kids had plenty of room. I tested out the baby seat I have and that fits, my Combi Tyro never even worked with the stroller it was suppose to work with, big plus for us since we will be adding to the family in the next year. Only draw backs are the basket could be easier to access and bigger, and the seats don't recline very far. I still think it is worth the 5 stars, for the value!! :)
