Great travel potty - good construction. My toddler preferred this seat to regular potty chair at times b/c it is so low to the ground and felt "safer".

My 3yo/40+lbs son is usually reluctant to try new things and he took to this potty right away. I had it out as I was packing and he asked me about it. I explained what it was for and he dropped his pants and sat to pee right there in the kitchen! On our trip we were able to set him on the front passenger seat and the rear cargo area. It can be used on any flat surface.
The top edge of the disposal bag stays clean and dry so it really is not messy at all.
The side compartments are a little difficult to open at first, but this is mostly due to the texture placement. The compartment opening has a smooth surface and a ridged surface. It seemed counterintuitive, but the smooth surface needed to be pressed instead of ridged surface in order to open the storage.

This is a great product. I have it in my car of course, and when there is no potty around, we just take it out and put a ziploc on it and voila...you have a toilet on the go! My 3 year old loves it so much that even when I am going into a store where they have a bathroom, she says she wants to go on the one in the car! :o) It comes with a handful of bags, but just know that I tried to use the ziplocs with the slide locks and they didn't fit. You just need the regular gallon size ziplocs. Easy to store things in the side so everything is right where you need it! Put the bags, wipes, tissues, etc. right in the side compartments! Closes up easily and doesn't take much room. Just the perfect potty! Sturdy enough that it doesn't collapse when they sit on it (which i have seen with other products) Worth the money!

This is a great potty chair to travel with. My family lives a long way from our relatives. We live in a very rural area of Kansas and when we drive arcoss the state we aren't always close to a potty when our daughter says "I need to go now!" She has a blatter problem so she just can't hold it for 20-30 miles to the next rest stop. This has saved us many times on trips. It folds up and I just store in under a seat all the time so we are never with out it. The potty chair has to large storage compartment for wipes and baggies. Best thing of all is it goes to 75 pounds! Great thing! My 3 year old is in the 95% for her age. Some of the other chairs only went to 50 pounds or you have to blow them up. This is an excellent product!

I love this thing. It's come in handy so many times. My son usually tells me he has to go potty at the most inconvient times. For example we were in line at the drive thru and it was taking much longer than expected. I had enough time to get out of the car, get it from the trunk, set it up (in the front passenger seat), have him use it and put it away by the time the line moved! It is fast and easy to set up. He hasnt had any problems at all with not fitting on the seat (hes an average size 4 year old). I have told so many people about this and am thinking I might make this a regular 1st bday gift. It always stays in my car and will get even more use once my daughter is potty trained. Love it love it love it!!

This should be the perfect travel potty, but the hole is too small. It at least needs a higher splash guard, even for girls. The storage is great! for wipes or clean undies but, the compartment releases are difficult to open.

I had just started potty training my daughter and I already had a potty chair at the house. She didn't really seem interested in it though. This chair arrived and as soon as I set it up she wanted to sit on it. She sat down and went to the bathroom. I now have to leave it up at home because she wants to use this all the time. Whatever it takes to potty train her. I am getting ready to take it on our first trip, but I can already tell it will be fine.

We use this all the time. My excersise class was held at an outdoor park with no open bathroom facilities. I carried it in my stroller every day for my daughter, who inevitable had to go half way through class every day.

The fact that it uses any brand gallon size zipper bags is great, store brands are cheap and work just as well for this.

I also used it on a nightly basis when we went camping, it was much easier than taking a 2 year old to the outhouse in the middle of the night.

She really likes sitting on her "little potty" too, its just the perfect size for her.

We have 2 of these, we bought the first one to use in the car when our older daughter was potty training. We just bought our 2nd one to use at home for our younger daughter who is starting to train.

It is so nice not to have to use dirty bathrooms while traveling or at the park. I love that everything goes in a bag and i can just throw it away.

The only con I have is that it is a little difficult to open, so we make sure we always keep it bagged and ready to go.

Otherwise, this has been a real lifesaver for us.

This product was suggested by another owner when my daughter was potty training and showed fear of the big toilet. As soon as this potty came in the mail she couldn't wait to try it. It has allowed her to be diaper free and independent when we go out. This potty stays in my car. The storage bins are excellent. I put extra bags & wipes in one side and keep a spare pair of panties & pants in the other side. I read all the reviews before purchasing, so I knew some people had trouble opening the storage areas. If you push just right it honestly couldn't be easier to open. I've never had any trouble. I love, love, LOVE this product! I never have to worry about dirty bathrooms for my daughter. And cleanup is so easy, just throw the bag in the garbage! It is truly the best investment I have made since having my daughter. And people are shocked when they find out it's a potty. When it is folded closed people think it is a game for my daughter.

Our toddler has been using the potty at home but only once in a while. Recently she has started asking to go potty when we're on the road. Sure that we're interfering with her 'training' by not offering her a potty as soon as she asks, we bought this potty for an upcoming road trip. Though she was hesitant to sit on it when first offered, she soon became used to it and stopped us on the road several times to go potty. Now she tells us while we're in the grocery store. We run out and she uses it happily. We have an SUV which makes it easier but... it's compact. You might be able to make it work in a sedan... Dunno. But those other portable potties either require inflating (yeah, right) or are so low to the ground, I know she'd refuse them. This is the perfect height. Folds up easily. Uses zip loc bags (no yuck). ... I'm thinking of replacing my home potty with it!

We absolutely love this potty. Twice we have used it for number "2" on the road and many number "1's". We use gal size zip lock bags, zipped it up, and disposed of it in a garbage container. No fuss, no mess. I keep wipes, tissues, and bags in the side pockets. Before my little one was potty trained, we used this inside and kept potty books in the side pockets hahahah. My little one is almost three now and we are planning on using this on the road for a 10 hour trip.

Love this potty seat-- Compact and durable enough to stay in the car always! For my son, the hole is way big enough for his aim. The seat, though, is a bit hard & uncomfortable for him so I don't know how this would work for a little girl. Easy set up for us, a little too tough for our 3 y.o. to push the sides and slide open-- Which is a good thing! Clean up is quick & simple. If you drive long distances, so worth it!

Our daughter is potty training and we take this thing everywhere!! Even at home, she now prefers this potty over the one we bought her for regular use in the bathroom!
It uses generic gallon size bags which can be pretty cheap. The compartments on the side are very useful! Wish it had a bottom when it closed up, because the bag just hangs out.

Best thing since disposable diapers! It can be carried without the public 'knowing' it is a potty. It looks like a briefcase. A parent can use either a one gallon or two gallon ziplock baggie. No more public potties - we use the stall, but our DD uses her potty. It is so convienent and easy for Dads to take little girls for a potty break. It is a snap to open and close. Everywhere we go, I must 'sell' a couple of dozen everytime. Most moms, grandmas and aunts, etc. have never seen it and LOVE the idea.

My son is almost 20 months old and has been using the potty for a couple of months now. He is not fully potty trained, but I bought this in anticipation of the day that we would start, and/or for travel. I decided to try it out at home because I was excited about it and I wanted him to get familiar with it. As soon as I set my son on it, I knew there would be a problem! 1) There's no "boy" splash guard. 2) Even if there were, the opening is so small his bum hardly fits on it, let alone the front of him. It's like: move back... OK, go number 1... OK, move forward, go #2. My son is pretty average, if not small, so I know that he is not just a big kid for this item, especially considering his age! 3) As soon as my son sat on it, the handle got in the way of his legs and the edge was uncomfortable and he said "ow" and wiggled around. I was successful at getting him to use it, not without a mess; however, because he wasn't too fond of going while I held his you-know-what down and he kept pushing my hand out of the way. I'm still planning to keep it because this is the only product I've seen that's so portable and uses bags like this. The 1 gallon zip bags worked fine on it for me.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend - who only has girls!

Most of the time I just keep the potty in my car. With a potty training toddler there isn't always time to pull off the road and find a public bathroom so we just set it up in the back of our SUV. I also throw it in the stroller basket for our walks to the park. It fits under our running stroller and is a great thing to take on long walks or for all day trips. My daughter will not use a port-a-potty so this works out great. Also great to bring down to the beach. Definitely recommend this to anyone with a potty training toddler.

My sister has this same potty seat an loves it, so I bought one. My husband uses it all the time, and I have used it a few time myself and it is a definite lifesaver. It also works in an emergency for an adult.

My son is 3 and is now potty trained w/ a few accidents here and there. When we are on the road, prior to leaving a location I am able to offer a comfortable and clean little potty for my son to go at any given time. I just place a baggie in it and viola!!! He absolutely loves it!!! Me too!! Good job!!

We couldn't wait to try out the travel potty at church last Sunday. Our church is a plant---we meet in a High School---so everything must be portable and easy up, easy down. This was terrific! The toddlers would have a long ways to walk to a bathroom if we hadn't had the potty arrive last week and with little ones who are potty training, that's not acceptable! The potty was a big hit with the toddlers in our church nursery with a portable screen system that we built w/pvc pipe, vinyl panels, and velcro it was the perfect solution. Thanks!

I bring the potty with us on walks (stash it under the jogger stroller), in the car...anywhere that doesn't have a potty readily accessible. Just be sure to buy the gallon bags that don't have the "slider"...just the traditional closure.

Perfect item for any parent of young children. We use it at the beach, park,in the car, camping, anywhere.Sometimes the children won't use public bathrooms or more times than not there is no time to get to one. I set the potty up and have it ready so they can go anywhere.I have 3 yr old twins and a five year old and even my older son has used it for "number 2" when needed, a little harder for him but at least we had it.I only wish it had a lid so I didn't have to change the bag everytime they just pee and we are going to be in that spot all day like at the beach but I just cover it up. Great idea..

With 3 girls they always tend to use the bathroom at 3 different times, so when I came across this it would make life easier outdoors because of dirty bathrooms all around us.

This potty is great for emergencies. We keep it in the back of our SUV all the time and when potty training, when my toddler can only give me a minute warning, it has gotten us out of some jams. It is a bit difficult to unfold and set up, takes some pulling and pushing as the plastic parts don't slide well. Recommend keeping a bag on it for next use to save time. Use of regular zip bags makes it easy to get supplies and easy to dispose.

For traveling or going to ordinary places with inconvenient options for bathroom needs, this is a great solution. A day with toddlers or young children where nature calls in a moment, this is the best idea! Hygienic, useful as is within a car or in a private spot....it is quick, lightweight, thoroughly easy to use and a positive experience for all. I bought my own for use with the grandchildren after seeing how wonderful this device was in my daughter's vehicle.

With this product, you will need a bag to collect the child's poopies and urine. What would be great is if the potty came with bags including directions.

This is a really neat product. It is very compact and has two lidded pockets in which to put large plastic zip bags and some tp.

This would be ideal for a girl.

I have a boy and he needs a guard to direct the urine into the bag and not in front of him onto the floor.

We took this potty camping and it was even better than I expected. I knew that our four-year-old son and our two-year-old daughter would much rather use this clean potty than go to the smelly pit toilets. Our friend's three-year-old daughter also used it. The potty stayed clean after each use and disposing of the ziploc bags was really easy. I'm going to take this potty with me every time I go camping and for every long car trip that we take.
