We have a drawer style freezer so it is hard to use regular ice cube trays for baby food so the baby cubes are easy to store. They are easy to use and clean, travel well and are perfect the small amounts my baby eats right now. The only issue is making sure they are snapped closed all the way. But overall I am very happy I bought these!

So far I love them. I have only made one batch of food though. I bought 4 sets and figured out that they will pay for themselves after about 4 times of making baby food. I'll probably buy some more so I can have even more types of food available. My only warning is to make sure you don't fill them completely full. 2 of mine got a little full so the lid popped off.

Excellent product, and the 2oz is the perfect size. I read a review which said these leak, but I haven't had any problems with that and I tested it immediately upon receiving them. The only thing I found was that if I put water in them and squeezed them upside down, they did leak, but who wants to store unfrozen water? I ordered two sets, and used one to freeze water for travel so the other set didn't get to warm, and they traveled GREAT! Love this product!

Love these baby cubes! Our 6 month old just started on solid food and we wanted to make homemade food for him. Only problem was that he's in day care and it's not possible to make a fresh meal every time he eats. These were the perfect solution. We can put the food straight into the cubes, freeze, thaw and then take them to day care without the hassle of having to first freeze in trays, then transfer to bags/containers. His day care also doesn't allow glass and these BPA-free containers are a great alternative. The attached lid is genius and the size is just right (he started out eating 1/2 a cube per meal and now he's up to two cubes at dinner time). It's easy to portion the right amount for each meal without wasting any food. Wide openings make them easy to fill and if we don't have time to thaw them, they pop out readily with just one pass under warm water. The only odd thing I noticed is that when I sanitized them in a steam sanitizer, there were some oily(?) drops on the surface. I'm not sure if they were meant to be steam sanitized though. Since they're BPA-free, I'm not too concerned since the hottest they get during feeding is the temperature of the water bath at day care (at home I usually empty out the food into a glass bowl to microwave), but I am sticking to hand/machine washing them only now.

I make my own baby food and these hold the perfect amount. They are easy to remove the food from by just running water on the outside for a few seconds. They are super easy to travel with. We put them in a cooler with ice and even when the ice melts water doesn't get inside. These are a must have for anyone making their own baby food. These could also be used for snacks for older children and are small enough to toss in a purse.

I absolutely love these. I bought four sets. I can make meals for a couple of weeks. In the morning I can grab a couple for daycare and off we go. A couple more at night. They clean up very easy.

Con - these little suckers break so easy (the lid primarily) if dropped from the freezer. Hang on to them tight. (that is the only reason I rated them a four instead of a five)

I make my own baby food and these work great for storing and freezing it. Also works well in the microwave to reheat the food. They are very easy to take along and feed your baby right out of if using the whole cube. The only draw back is that I can not label what is in it or date it. Too bad they don't make some sort of cleanable label. I am using a little sticker that comes off when you wash it. Otherwise I love this product and am ordering more as two trays were not enough.

I have been making my own baby food and some foods would not freeze solid. I normally freeze in the ice cube trays and then transfer to freezer bags. I found these containers and figured they would not only be great for foods that don't freeze solid like prunes, but also for taking homemade baby food on the road. I just toss a few in the diaper bag before heading out and they are thawed by the time I need them. Great product!

I am committed to cooking organic foods for my 6 month old son. When I first started making him food, I wasn't able to find any storage containers small enough to hold just one meals worth. Friends had told me to use an ice cube tray to freeze his food, but that left me with 2 problems: 1. once the food froze, ice crystals formed becaue it was exposed in the freezer, and 2. I had to use large, clumsy plastic containers to store his food for each day. The Baby Cubes made my life easier because I can cook his food, and portion it out for the week in one day. Two people I've shown these Baby Cubes to pointed out that they are also the perfect size for salad dressing or vitamins. I highly recommend this product. 4 sets are perfect for a baby eating about 3 different foods a day, cooking once a week.

I have four children, the last two are twins. I decided to make the twins food because it's healthier for them and it's cheaper. I couldn't believe the cost of baby food since my middle son was born it had gone up quite a bit. These cubes are great for storing home made baby food. You just store the food for up to six weeks in the freezer. They are stackable trays. I pull them out when ready and microwave them. Then throw them in the top rack of dishwasher. The only con is that I accidently dropped a frozen cube of food on my tile floor and it cracked and broke. Could have been the way it fell I don't know. I still love them! I've bought about 8-10 packs of them because I have twins and we go through food pretty fast. Great product!!!!

When I decided to make my son's baby food at home, I needed an easy system for storing the food. We do not have much freezer space so the storage cubes worked perfectly. As my son has grown and is eating more, I wish the cubes were larger. It would be nice if they also offered a 4 oz size. The quality is very good and the plastic has not stained with carrots, which typically stain plastic.

These are great to have when you are making your own baby food. My only complaint is that the plastic breaks easily, especially if you "oops" drop it on the floor when there is frozen food in it. The Baby Cubes are perfect for parents that want to make their own baby food. We love them!! We are a busy family and are always on the go...the baby cubes make traveling and eating out just as easy as if we were to feed our baby store bought food. Blank return address labels are the perfect size to put on the top of the lid to label each container. If you take the label off before heating, there is no sticky residue...they come off without any problems. This is a must have item for any parent that makes homemade baby food!!!!!

Be careful not to overfill as food expands when it is frozen and the tops will pop up. But if you don't go past the ridge near the top, they should stay closed. Otherwise, awesome product--so much nicer than traditional ice cube trays.

I purchased 4 sets of these containers. They are easy to stick in the microwave and then throw in the dishwasher (top rack). It does stain a little bit from certain foods (like carrots), but that is not any different from other tupperware. They are great for bringing to day care or using outside of the house. For feeding our daughter in the house, it seems like it is just as easy to freeze food in ice cube trays and just use that. For portability, you can't beat the convenience of these cubes though.

If you're considering making homemade baby food, I definitely recommend this product. Much easier to use than a competing 1 oz. baby cube. With the 1 oz. baby cube, I was always struggling to not get the food past the maximum fill line so that the lid could close properly. Not a problem with the 2 oz cubes. Wish I had discovered these first.

2oz baby cubes are too small

The concept is great but the actual compartments are too small. These would be perfect if they could hold 4oz or more. Babies really only start eating when they are sitting up at about 6 months and 2 oz is SOOO meager for a portion size.

I hoped that the containers snapped into the bottom portion to go into the dishwasher, they didn't, when I turned it upside down to load, they fell everywhere. Then one mysteriously broke while sitting on my counter, while it was probably my sons fault, they should have been much tougher for the price.

Very useful product for home-made baby food. Great for storage and easy to find in the freezer. Also, very easy to transport for daycare and outings. Only one or two little comments: 1. when filling with food, you need to be able to stand the cubes in their tray, otherwise they tip over easily; 2.they are difficult to label. I use dry erase markers because the ink does eventually rub off, but it takes a lot of elbow grease.

This product is great because each individual cube is the perfect portion size for meals. The cubes take up very little space in my freezer and I love the lids for keeping out any contamination. Makes it easy to save money by making your own baby food!

I ordered four trays, really helps as I was cooking everyday beforehand. I read the review about them dropping and cracking, promised myself I wouldn't drop one but sure enough I dropped one and it cracked. Not a product problem as much as a clumsy owner problem.
