We used it on a couple of trips and might have continued to use it despite the several inconvenience features BUT one strap broke off!!! Its slim when its folded for storage BUT its too wide for many plane aisles. And if you have a toddler, a car seat, a diaper bag, and a jacket...the last thing you need is to be carrying this transporter thing! If I was traveling with my husband, I could see how that might make it easier but I shouldn't have to depend on him to make this work smoothly. It should fit thru aisles so you can get to where you need to go. In addition, I thought the straps were incredibly difficult to work with - whether latching on or releasing. And what I mean by that is that in order to get it to latch you have to catch it just the right way and difficult to make it extra tight so its stable AND releasing it was the most challenging of all. It would get stuck and it would 'appear' to release but wouldn't. Ahh.

Ok, so we bought this after borrowing our friends' for a recent trip and our toddler LOVES it (and so do we). It performs exactly as described, however, as a mother of more than one, and luggage for a family of four, it is cumbersome to attach the carseat initially - and a pain getting through security, which makes you take the whole thing apart - but you should get the hang of it pretty quick (you'll be a pro by the return flight!). We still give it 5 stars because we couldn't find anything close to comparable out there and it serves great as an airport stroller for our toddler.
NOTE: IF your child does not like their carseat, is a runner, etc. this may not be the "magic trick" for the airport. Our toddler enjoys the "prince complex" (ie. carry me, pull me, feed me - LOL), so the novelty of this gizmo will be long lasting. Happy travels!

We traveled in May from America to Belgium with a 2 year old and a 7 month old, Oh, and a dog in a cage with all our bags and carry ons and this product was so perfect and easy to use. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, stared and I can't tell you how many "That's a great idea" I heard throughout every airport we had to go through.

LOVE this product and would definitely recommend.

This product is such a great help!! We loved it and so did the kids. It is quick and easy to strap on/off , and very easy to manuver with a child sitting in it. We got so many comments in the airport, including "what a neat idea! Where did you find those?" and "I wish we had one of those!". We are very very happy with the purchase.

This item was great for the Airport!! I ended up taking the carseat on and off, to put it on the airplane and it was a little tricky because I was in a hurry but next time I will just leave the carseat on this carrier and check it under the plane when boarding. It was great to go through the airport to hold our child or if she wanted to walk, we just put other things in the car seat and pulled it along. I was really pleased with this purchase!

I was traveling with my two children (Ages 2 &4) by myself and this item was amazing. It allowed me to lose the stroller and not have to lug the car seat through a crowded airport. My son loved being pushed through the airport (handled extremely well) and I was asked multiple times where I got it!

I fly US to Europe at least once a year, by myself. Often times we end up arriving late to catch the next flight, and once I was stuck in Paris for 8 hours, waiting for a connecting flight. I honestly do not know how I would have made it without this wonderful thing. I used it as a stroller, my baby took a full nap in there, and he had his car seat for all of the plane rides (totall of 4 one way!). IT was easy to set up and make it all work. One thing is true, the security at airports is not used to seeing this, so they will ask you to detach it from the car seat and will take the whole thing into the x-ray scanner. It might take like 10 minutes longer to get through security, because if your car seat is a bit bigger, they will need to take it over to a bigger machine. Also, some flight attendants freak out when you want to install the car seat into the airplane seat, but if you just confirm that your seat is approved for flight, and stay FIRM, they will cooperate. They are just not so used to that. The regulations on toddlers in airplanes change so often, and even flight attendants are not always fully up-to-date on their company's policy. Just do your homework before you fly. Definitely spend some time practicing getting the harness off and on. You need to get that perfect angle for release, and I personally struggled a bit with that. Otherwise, this is such a perfect thing.

This invension saved me! I was traveling alone with my 18-month-old, 7 months pregnant, and I just didn't know how it was going to work. My arms were already filled with luggage, I needed the car-seat on the plane, and then I bought a Go-Go Kidz. It was almost perfect! I didn't need to lug a stroller with me because this worked just as well, it carried the car-seat with my son in it and so I was able to pull my son behind me (along with my suitcase). It actually fit in the aisle of the airplane, too (although it was tight!).

It is a bit difficult to adjust the handle, as other reviewers commented, but I just got it where I wanted it before I started walking and it was fine. It is QUITE heavy, but not compared to trying to lug around a car-seat while holding a child's hand, so I didn't really mind.

The biggest complication that I had was that it is very difficult to remove from the car-seat once in the tight confines of the airplane seats. Really VERY difficult. My son at the time was rear-facing, so I ended up giving up and leaving it on, and it didn't interfere at all with the car-seat. However, if he had been forward-facing, I think it might have been a problem (I'll get to find out soon, because my eldest is now forward facing, and we'll be flying a couple of times in the next couple of months). This is more of a complaint for the airlines who have such tiny seats with no space at all, but you know they aren't going to change, so maybe a quick-release button would make this the perfect product. In any case, though, it would have been quite a struggle without it, and I will use it again and again.

Once the car seat was set (after several tries), it worked ok as a travel stoller. The handle is very flimsy and does not adjust easily. The bases (about 1.5 cm each) on which the car seat sits are too small and any movement cause the car seat (safety first) to move and fall. Despite the thick strap, the car seat did not lean against handle, making it difficult to carry heavy child.

Travelmate worked perfectly when I traveled by myself with my 2 year old daughter. Easy and quick to take apart for security and on the plane and just as easy to reassemble after. I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement. Great as it is.

I've had this for 2 years now and have traveled several times with it. I first purchased it when my daughter was 1 and she is now 2 and 8 months. She loves being able to sit on car seat while in the airport. We actually ran into a frazzled couple at the airport once who could not figure out how to keep their car seat from dragging and when they saw us they came up to us to ask how ours was working. I had that problem once because I was in a rush but you just have to make sure the logo is facing out. Once we helped them theirs worked perfectly too. This product is amazing and has made traveling with my daughters car seat a lot easier. We own the Evenflo 65.
