Wooden Toy Mail Box Shape Sorter

My 22 month old was excited to play with this right away. He loves shape sorters and what kid doesnt love opening and closing little doors?

It was a great mailbox that looks close to the real thing. Love the "postcards" and "letters". Downside is the "stamps" on the postcards and letters make it hard to insert them in the the slots. Kids dont have time to measure the width of the letters to put in the appropriate slots that have varying size. My child just takes the stamps off and try to jam the mail in the slots. Overall, my child likes the toy but gets frustrated when certain mail won't easily go in the slots.

My children ages 12 years to 12 mos. love this toy. They use it as pretend play and even my youngest enjoys "mailing" things. Quality construction!

My son did circle this in the catalog, as a suggestion of what to get him for Christmas. But he also circled about 100 other toys! When I went to buy him some presents, so many of the things he had circled were sold out, and I ended up getting this mainly because it was still available!

I knew he'd like it because he's attracted to things you can lock up - and this has it's own little locking mechanism (that, as a bonus, you can easily unlock/re-lock if you do lose the key!)

Both my kids - ages 4 and 2 - played with this for several hours. They really love it and store lots of things in it and use it in lots of pretend games. It's used for more than just "mail." Stuffed animals get locked up in it... as well as prized possessions. The letters are cute too, and are wooden and have little wooden stamps you can velcro on and off each letter. Those were fun, but more fun was the mailbox itself and how it has a door you can lock. :)

My kids loved this gift, very durable. They enjoyed it and it keeps their attention.

So much fun. My 2 year old daughter loves pretending she is sending and receiving mail. And just like the other reviews said...the key is the best part. She loves being able to lock and unlock the mailbox. A unique toy that I recommend!

My 2 and 4 year old both love to play with this mailbox. This is another solidly constructed toy from the M&D line. I love that they can change the stamps from postcard to postcard. The sorting of different size postcards is a nice feature too. This provides hours of imaginative play. My 4 year old especially loves when I leave her real mail that she can open from mommy & daddy!
