        As previous reviewers mentioned, the string is not nearly long enough for a toddler to actually pull the toy behind him/her. We too, added additional string so that it wasn't a complete waste of a purchase.
        My child tends to only be interested in the base that pulls behind her....the "train" is pretty worthless for us.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            The product is good, but the packaging is inadequate. The pieces are not anchored in the large box and move freely within, damaging each other. This box was sent to me in a second box, without cushioning. When it arrived, there was a gouge in one of the pieces which made it unsafe. OSA sent another one, and while they noted that it would be better packed, the toy was still not anchored in its box, and there was only one piece of bubble wrap in the shipping box. If not for the packaging, I would rate this at 5 stars.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            I bought this for my grandson but we had to add more cord in order for him to pull it.Otherwise very nice .
