Toy Can Opener & Play Food Kitchen Set

like this item but is hard for little hands to use. but is a good way of learning.

Bought three, two gifts, one for my own. Cute addition to anyones kitchen set. One of the items didnt work, sent it back and One Step was helpful with the exchange.

I love this toy, as I haven't seen any others like it, and my kids are always asking about our can opener. However, not sure if I'm just a moron, but it takes me a few tries to figure out how to work it.

I loved this toy.... Once I figured out how to use it!! It came in a plain brown cardboard box, I had to go back and find the catalogue to look at the picture in order to find out how to place the opener on the cans... Then I cut out the picture on the catalogue to tape to the box of the second one I had bought as a gift

My son always asks for my can opener but I won't let him play with it. This is a fine toy but too difficult for my two year old to really use the way it was intended. Maybe in another year or so, He enjoys pulling off the velco lids anyway though.

THis is a cute set. We had other families over with thier kids and got tons of compliments on it. Its a little complicated to figure out how to properly work it like a real can-opener.. but there is a little hook on the can opener itself that you can use and that is easy.

The "cans" are plastic pieces that have a bottom and corresponding top\"lid." The 2 pieces adhere to each other by velcro. The faux can opener can be affixed to each set and turned like a realy can opener. or you can just use the pointer piece on the faux can opener to pry the piece open.

A little hard for my two year old to turn the handle and open the cans but the Velcro is say to pull off the lid. She likes it a lot. It's easy to lose the pieces, a little carrying bag would be good for this.

Fun for kids that like to "cook"!

I believe this will help any child learn the cranking techniques in turning knobs ( like real can openers) Good Concept involve.

I think these are adorable but they are teeny tiny. I expected the cans to be larger (maybe I didn't read the description carefully?) but the biggest one is smaller than a can of sardines. Also, I think they would be cuter if there were a piece of play food in each can.
