I love the colors and patterns in this toy. My 16-month daughter loves stacking the pegs the most! She's not able to put the foam pieces back together yet, but I think she'll like that part better when she's older.

I'm disappointed in the "tote" feature of this, though. It probably wouldn't have been a big deal, but it was advertised as a portable activity to travel in its handy tote. The "tote" is only a flimsy cardboard box with a cellophane window in front, and a plastic handle on top. The box is only held together by little tabs. It fell apart in two "clean-ups."

Buy for the stuff inside, not the tote.

I bought this for my 2 year old to have something to do while I work on reading with her older sister. She loves it! She likes the texture and the simple puzzles. She doesn't get frustrated the way she does with "big kid" puzzles. She is so proud to complete it, the only problem is that she finishes all the puzzles in about 5 minutes, so play time is short. But the toy is quiet and fun.

This product is a great play time toy because of the many challenges it does offer. It is not limited to a specific age and kind of grows with the child. 2 grandchildren ages 2-1/2 and 1-1/2 and it provides enough entertainment and challenges for both of them. The portability is an extra bonus. Stores away nicely and convenient to take with you when on the go.

we got this set for a road trip - it was great and entertained both my 1 year old and 2 yr old. it was also great to have on hand when we reached our destination - they enjoyed plaing with it during our stay. it is very versatile. the storage case didn't hold up too well (it is cardboard) so i threw it away and just use a tote bag to carry the set. [...] you just dont see enough of these simple, educational toys around for toddlers anymore. great buy!!!

We thought this would be more entertaining for traveling, but it didn't quite meet our expectations. It does travel easily.

I had this tote in my spec ed classroom years ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see it again here recently. So I purchased one for my 2-yr-old, and he likes it.Pros:- very durable- easy to clean (unless you get stuff, such as playdoh or food, stuck at the tip of a peg)- entertaining and educational- THE COMPANY PROMISES TO REPLACE ANY LOST PIECES, which, with a toy like this and any young child, is bound to happen sooner or later (perhaps more than once during the lifespan of the toy). [...]Cons:- my classroom set had its clear "window" torn off very soon after I got it. My son has yet to do this to his.- with the exception of the pegs, you can only play with the pieces one "right" way - i.e. the pieces aren't interchangable. There is one "right" slot for each piece, and kids tend to get bored with toys like this very soon. I mean, you can only place the little star into the star-shaped hole so many times and still find it interesting.- the triangle piece is tricky - it needs to be placed right side up or it won't fit into the hole.

My son's favorite part of this toy is the "pegs." He's found numerous uses for them. Once in a while he plays with the foam-like puzzle pieces. The "tote" part is just the cardboard box it comes in, which is not very sturdy and the Velcro closure on it fell off in the first week. So we don't use this toy for the purpose I bought it, (as a travel toy), it stays at home.

Great for helping me work on fine motor skills with my babies. They get to work on the pegs and putting the shapes together and take them apart. The pieces are soft and light weight. I bought them for my 13 month old twins. But my 3-year old uses it too. They will actually all three sit down and use it together. :D I use it for my daughter because she does need extra attention in her fine/gross motor skills. So, I am picky about not losing these pieces. [...]

I can not recommend this set highly enough. I bought it for plane ride. I wanted something portable, quiet and engaging. My daughter (15 m) loved it. I've used it on every car or plane trip since. There's enough pieces to share, enough different aspects she can grow with it. I'm very grateful that the pieces are replaceable if lost. I do wish the carrying tote was more durable since we do use it for that.

I bought this to put in my 16 month old's Easter Basket. This toy kept him busy for a solid hour on Easter morning while my husband and I cooked Easter dinner. I hid the toy as we've got a long plane trip coming up in June and I'd like to save it for the air. The tote is great as it is nice and flat and everything fits back into it without bulging. A big hit and will hopefully keep my son busy on the airplane!

I purchased these toys to bring along on a vacation with our 2-year-old. Simply put, he absolutely loved them. I loved the portability and simplicity, as well as the versatility of this toy. I will give this as a gift in the future.

Great Toy! I bought this for my 3-year old and she loved stacking the pieces and doing the puzzles. As an added bonus, my 9-month old liked playing with it too! Comes in a handy carrying case.
