easy to put in windows. can be removed if need fire escape. i like them. if super up high I would probably use ones that screw down but these work for my second floor.

I use this product to keep my little escape artist from opening our sliding glass door. I've been using it for several months and it works perfectly at keeping my kids and pets in the house when I don't want them outside. It would work really well on sliding windows too. What I love about this product is that it's easy to use and not permanent. I haven't had any problems with it.

Use product on windows for security against outside intruders. You really need two to do the job and the items are quite expensive.

Great for toddlers that can't teach to remove it or for our older children (6 &9) to prevent accidental over opening of windows and yet they are still able to to remove the device on their own and fully open the window for escape during a fire
If your child is not of an age or mind to be safety conscious, however, these are easily removed.

We use this on our sliding glass door. It is easy and works great. I feel safe and know my kids cannot open the door to get out. Sometimes I forget it is on and try to open the door (hard & quick) and the product stays on. I am going to get some more to use on second floor windows as my son has begun to try to sit on windowsills.

Out 4 year old twin boys defeated this safety product in all of 1 minute. All they had to do was bring something over to the window to climb up on and then pop off the window stopper quite easily. Seemed like a simple fix to our problem, but it's just simply a piece of junk.

We have sliding mirror closet doors in out bedroom and I purchased these on a chance they might work on keeping those doors closed. They work perfect! I am also thinking they would work on bathroom sliding glass doors.

I used this stopper for my patio sliding glass door. It works great because I can put it up high so that my 4 and 2 year old can't reach it and pull it off. I can now keep the door open enough so that they can't get out on the deck or push on the screen door. This wouldn't be good on a window for my family because my kids would definitely pull it off once they discovered it.

We bought a 10 foot long pool thats 2 1/2 feet deep this summer and was a bit worried our 4 year olds would go check it out on their own. This stopper works perfect for the sliding glass door and is very easily removed!

Works wonders on keeping my toddler inside. Doggie door prohibits locking the slider and wooden stick in track became a weapon, suction works when hubby puts it back in place. We still use the stick when we leave the house.
