My son received this as his Christmas present in Dec. 2010. After assembly, it would not work - when the button was pushed to accelerate - you can hear a clicking but the wheel is not engaging. Contacted the manufacturer on Monday - Christmas was during the weekend and my son was without one of his gifts and was very disappointed. They agreed to an exchange - however we had to wait for them to receive the defective unit before they would ship another one. They said that the initial unit was probably damaged in shipping.????? The return went very quickly and within 2 weeks - he had one that he could ride. However, I was concerned if it was damaged in shipping - that I would receive another defective unit but that wasn't the case.Flash forward to August (8 months later) and the motorcycle is now having the same problem - not going forward but there's a clicking noise - and will only go backwards. We only use the unit indoors - in our basement play area. My 2 year old is not rough with his toys and only plays with it occasionally. This unit is not built to withstand regular use or a typical child's play. For the amount that is charged for this unit - I would have expected much better quality.

My son loves his bike. Super cute and nothing like it anywhere else. Not easy to recharge because they didn't make the plug in easily accessible. Other than that no problem.

It's for children a little older than two or those who have a little more than normal development in gross motor skills, my almost three years old loved, he got it for christmas, but my nephew who is barely two would´nt ride it, he just would and turn it on and of. Maybe with some more weeks he might borrow it.

We were so excited to recieve such an amazing present from my little boys grandpa for Christmas! For some reason this item completely stopped moving, it makes noice and is charged, but, will no longer do anything but make noice. I tried troubleshooting in every method I know. I feel terrible that so much money was paid for something that no longer works. My little boy loves this item but, is disappointed that he cannot use it. It now just sits in the garage.

Sadly, I must say that this is my worst toy purchase to date. I was so excited when I ordered it last November for my son's second birthday, which was mid-December. I tried assembling it the night before his birthday only to find that a main part (the long metal piece that holds the front wheel on) was missing. Because of that, I wasn't able to give the motorcycle to my son at his party the following day. Instead, my husband had to run around to hardware stores until he found a suitable substitute for the missing piece. He actually had an identical metal piece made for the bike. What a hassle.

Unfortunately, the trouble was only beginning. My som has had the motorbike for 11 months now and has been able to ride it for a whopping total of about 1.5 hours. Either the battery is bad, fuses are bad, or there is a short somewhere. He adores it, as did i, and begs to ride it. It makes me sick to see it setting in the same spot day after day getting no use. I had ready had it more than 30 days before assembling it. Then, it was another couple of weeks before I realized something was actually wrong with the mechanics of it. By that time, I figured it was too late to return it. Now, however, as I start birthday and Christmas shopping again, I am reminded of how wronged my son was by this product.

I am actually going to call the company tomorrow to see if they will remedy this situation with a working battery, new fuse, or whatever it is that never worked properly. Upated review to follow...

AT first we loved it. But then you relise the side car is too close and my sons foot get stuck every time. It's very slow and does not work on gravel driveways. Now less then 6 months the battery will not charge. My son got it for christmas and due to it size it was not used much. Went to charge and nothing. WHAT A BUM DEAL

We got this for our little boy for Easter and he was able to figure it out right away, it is so easy to use. He loves the horn button. The engine sounds are great! It is a bit pokey but that is a good thing since he is so small. We make sure that he is wearing his bicycle helmet before he gets on, lest he take a tumble. Tons of fun for him and his cousins and neighbor kids. We have gotten lots of comments about how cool it is. We just love it.

I bought this motorcycle for my nephew for his first birthday with the idea that by the time it was nice enough to use it outside he would be about 18 months. He loves it already, especially the fun sounds it makes. He's too little to understand how to operate it, but we just hold the go button down and walk with him. I can see that as he gets to be a little older it won't move fast enough to keep him busy, but it's been well worth the entertainment already. The only complaint I have is with the set up instructions. They were okay to follow however they were just pictures. I would have preferred step-by-step written instructions.

My 16 month old got this from Santa for Xmas and LOVES it! He knows how to get on and start it on his own and even go forward, although the steering will take some time. It was easy to assemble. The only thing I have to say that's a bit of a pain, is each time you want to charge it, you have to remove a couple screws to open the compartment to charge. I wish there was a way to plug it in externally or underneath without having to do that. But really, we have no complaints. Everyone has got a kick out of seeing him on it and he has a blast riding it around the house - now if the weather would just get nice enough to ride outside!

Our God daughter loved this bike. We wish it didn't come with the stickers already on it as they were for a boy and we tried to put pink HD stickers over them but still looked like a boy bike. Would be nice to have a speed control because she will probably find it boring in 6 months. She is only 1 and was able to get on and find the buttons but not able to steer...we are still working on that.

I purchased this for my 13 month old son for Christmas, and it is the greatest thing. He loves it! The engine sound and lights are fantastic, and it sounds just like daddy's. The only issue I have found with it is the fact that he has to hold the button on the handle bars in order to go, which is hard for him to lean over for that long.

Our little grandson (including his grandpa) could not quit playing with it. The start up sound is so real and the lights blink on. My 15 year old daughter put it together. We would highly recommend this to anyone. [...]Thank You!!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. It arrived and My husband put it together, later that week I was VERY upset when I found the same exact bike on[...] website for only [$][...] It is a very cute bike, but I get very mad when I over pay for something !!!

This looks great but it goes too slow. I purchased this for my 18 month old and he rode it maybe 2 time. He would not stay on it because he was walking faster than it would run. It was also too wide to make turns.
