Although this swimsuit is a bit highpriced, it is SO worth it! Light weight, comfortable, and my son looks like an adorable little surfer! Saves loads of time slathering on sunblock, protects his delicate skin, easy to throw in the wash and dries very fast in the sun! I suggest you order a size up, this way you can get more wear out of it. My son wore it the summer he was two (it was big on him but looked cute) and then this past summer at age three (perfect fit). I have no complaint except that it is definitely pricey. But protecting my childs sensitive skin is more important. If you have a fair skinned child or one with ezcema, or a little one who hates having sun block applied, this suit will make life easier (at the beach anyway!)

Great design, good fit, runs somehow smaller in size (I ordered size 3 for my 2 yr old). I also bought "sun smarties girl's flap hat" and looks adorable together. My daughter loved wearing it. The most important - huge protection from sun!

I have bought these suits for several years and finally thought it was time to share my thoughts. I am very happy with the product. This year I bought a pink and a blue suit. I love these for swimming, but even more I love that I can throw them on my kids if we're running to the park when we don't have much time to play, cutting down on the time involved in sunscreening two kids. While I admit it's a bit odd to have them playing in swimsuits, they are light enough to be comfortable in the heat and I'd rather get them outside quickly if I only have half an hour to spare after work before dinner or before a bday party on the weekends. With this, I only have to sunscreen from the neck up and on the feet, making my mama-job so easy. I highly recommend these suits for the pool, the beach (no more sand in the nether regions!) and the park.

I have been buying these for my daughter and now my son for the past 3 years. I love how much skin these cover so I don't have to put on as much sunscreen. They are easy on because they aren't skin tight. You can also buy these a little big and let them grow into them because the legs and arms are great lengths (won't be too long).

I wanted a suit that would completely protect my son's skin and not have to worry if I didn't reapply sunscreen often enough. This suit is so perfect with the amount of coverage. The material feels soft yet durable. My son doesn't mind spending a day at the beach in this suit. It's easy to take on and off for diaper changes and it has a nice piece of fabric at the top of the zipper so that the zipper doesn't rub against his chest or neck. This is my second suit for my son and plan to buy more as he grows out of them.

Beach days are much less stressful now that we have this suit--just zip it on, and I don't have to worry about how long it's been since I put on the sunscreen, has she been in the water and washed it off, did I forget to do her arms, anything. Super, super easy. And my daughter is a bit fussy about clothing comfort and has never objected to this, even on the hottest days. You'll get two years out of it, as the legs are a cropped length so you can order up a size with no trouble. Highly recommended!

I bought the 9-12 for my 8 mos old son. i LOVE it because is long sleeve but still light material AND has SPF. because of the teething my son is always chewing his arms, hands, etc. so i didn't want to put sunblock in his arm that he would eat. so that is why i wanted something long sleeve. i whish it had more buttons at the bottom so the sand would not get in; that is why i gave it a 4 *. however not a big deal. great purchase!

The suit was great, just as described, and good quality. It definitely worked for the purpose of my infant son swimming with sun protection... but he outgrew it in like a month. It cost a little too much for something that can't be used very long.

This is an excellent option for infants who can not yet be exposed to direct sunlight, and who are too young for sunscreen. I do wish this were long pants in addition to long sleeves.

Wanted this to keep sand out of diaper area at the beach. Disappointed to see all the snaps for diaper changing...each one makes a hole and sand gets in. Great for the pool but not for sand.

So sad. I got 2 suits and both started out great with great sun coverage, but as kids wore them they began to stretch out (4 yo & 2 yo). After 10 or so wearing both suits are so stretched out they are completely unusable. Both suits have been trashed. Kids swam in river and pool so not sure if it was chlorine that caused the fabric to give out?
