Due to an accident we need to make sure my son's arms and palms are protected from the sun. I didn't even know such a product existed and when I saw it in the catalog I felt it was made just for us! The sun sleeves are easily tucked into our bag so that any time we will be in the sun they can quickly be put on. Perfect for riding in the car when I don't feel like applying sunscreen but want him protected. The first time we put them on he didn't like them until his dad called them dinosaur sleeves (he loves dinosaurs!) now he asks to wear them and roars when they are on. They can also be used with his short sleeved swim shirts and they dry quickly. The temps have been in the 90's lately and he doesn't complain about them being to hot which I expected

I purchased these sleeves for both of my fair-skinned children. My DD is extremely sensitive to the sun and these have protected her arms very well. ( We still use sunscreen in addition to the sleeves.) The kids love wearing them and don't even ask to take them off. The only complaint I have is that they sometimes slide down their arms. But overall, a very good product.

The sleeves worked fairly well. They didn't stay up so well, but wasn't such a hassle to keep pulling them up, and did keep the kids sunburn free which is the main goal!
