We had another tenet for my first that I loved having but list somehow in our move. I was excited to get this one with. Cushioned floor since my second one use to nap while we at the beach in the tent every day. We now have a 2 month old so I'm planning on using it for her naps as well. It also work great with the portable potty because you can set that up in there and let the older ones it in privacy and then throw out the diaper part. It beats running back and forth the house every time someone has to use the bathroom.
It took me a little while to figure out how to fold the tent but once I did it was very easy. I also don't like the fact that there is no where to put the cushion when it is all folded up. The backpack is great with the tent in it but I think there should be room for the cushion floor as well. It would make carrying it a lot easier with the kids.

Purchased this tent before our family vacation to St. Martin. Was daughter's first time at beach (5 months old) and this tent kept her 100% protected from the hot Caribbean sun. Folding up all the flaps provided a gentle breeze and she enjoyed not only playing in it but sleeping on her tummy with her ear to the sand listening to the waves. Unbelievably easy to setup and assemble, such a small package to pack and carry on the plane. Can't wait to use it again this summer!!

Bought this for a beach vacation. The tent was easy to set up and take down. It wasn't practical for putting my 4 month old down for a nap. It didn't really allow a breeze and got warm quickly. My older kids enjoyed playing house in it.

Bought this for our trip to Hawaii. It fits in your luggage easily and was very light. I opened and closed it from home to make sure I didn't look like an idiot on the beach. Lol it's very easy once you get it the first time. My 5 month old slept in it and played in it fine. We took it to the beaches and although it was really hot and windy, it was bare able inside the cabana. The widows helped a lot when we kept it open for a breeze to come through. The padding was great fit, I added towels for a more cushion feel. I also nursed him in the tent fine. My legs just got a tan. It's small, maybe good for two toddlers to nap. My five year old hung out in there fine but she is on the small side. Overall, I'm so glad I bought it. I wish it was a tad bigger but it was fine and the best I could find. Great at a park too.

As others have noted, this is not the easiest to close up and put away. If windy on the beach, even more fun! That is really the only negative so far. Looks nice, allows for good air flow while baby/toddler is inside. Has room for them to move around. It can be done, just have to get used to folding it properly!

I watch my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter and my 7 month old grandson. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard swimming. My grandson is a very big baby and I needed something to put him in safely when he took a nap outside. He was too big to put in the infant seats and too much trouble to drag the pak n play outside. This cabana is PERFECT. I can put it on the grass and when he naps, just lay him inside and he is safe and secure while I swim with my granddaughter. Because it zips closed, even when he starts to crawl, if he wakes up and I don't notice he will not be able to get out of the cabana, so he is safe. My only challenge is getting myself down on the ground holding him to lay him down...but it's working out ok. And, my granddaughter likes the "tent" too. And, we can take it to the shore as well for the sand. Just perfect for us.

I am glad I purchased the cushion to lay on top of the floor but the floor lining is really adequate...just a little extra cushioning is nice. All the sides have fold back flaps that are "screened" so that he gets lots of air and if the sun is hitting a particular side, you can lower the flaps. It stays amazing cool inside.

A great purchase...just perfect for us.

I recommend to open the tent up and to practice to put it away. Follow the instructions. It takes a bit, but eventually you will get the handle of it. The tough part is when you fold it in a "U" then it's an awkward twist. Do not get frusturated because it will work.

This is a great tent. Super easy and super light. Great straps allow you to carry it on your back - leaving your hands free. Our 4 month old slept sweetly on the beach for hours. We put this tent under a large tent for extra protection. Our 23 month old loves playing in it. Highly recommend.

Perfect sun protection while we were vacationing at the beach. Our baby was 6 months old and he played, slept, and I was able to nurse him inside the tent right on the beach!

I bought this for my friend son who is almost three months old and he loves it. My friend had a cookout at the beach so she needed something for her baby to protect against the sun. She was very happy with this tent because her son slept their, and she also hanged some toys so he can look at it and kept him occupied:).The cushioned floor mat was very useful so the baby is very comfortable, not to many tents has that.

We used our "Sun Smarties Infant Cabana and Cushioned Floor Mat Set" at the beach and it was great! Our baby is 8 months old and she went right to sleep out on the beach. You do not necessarily need the floor mat and blanket will do but it is nice having the matching set. I have recommended this to a friend or two!

I bought this for my 10 month old. My two daughter and I go to the pool daily and while th baby has been sleepin in her stroller, it was not very comfortable for her, plus we needed something for the beach. I was a little nervous that I would never be able to fold it back up but actually it was not hard at all. At first when I tried to fold it I tried just doing it in the figure 8 shape and twisting it but I was not able to get it small enough. Then I looked at the instructions inside the zipper part of the backpack and they were right on the money! Holding it out and grabbing the ends and bringing them into a U shape and simply crossing hands over it went right into the bag! I know we are going to get so much use out of this!Meg

I originally bought a cheaper pop up tent at Babies R Us, but it was falling apart within the first use so I returned it and ordered this one instead. I love it. It pops open easily and you just twist it to put it away. I love the cushioned floor mat, makes it nice and comfy for my daughter and can be used separately as well. It's easy to clean and is great for hanging out in the back yard, she can nap inside comfortably and it's well vented. I plan to use it all summer at our neighborhood pool.
