I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material. It is very cute. I got the monkey embroidery for my little monkey grandson who is 2. I ordered a size medium but he is small child. It fit perfectly!

Saw all the comments on size so I ordered a size too big. It was way too big. I ordered 2 - one for my 16 month old and one for my 3 year old. The XL fit me. Not sure what to say here. They are light. A little floppy. I like the flap on the back to keep sun off their necks.

despite using my child's head circumference to determine the correct size to order, it was too small. will have to exchange for the next larger size. hope it fits

This hat is very cute, protects from the sun and seems well made. But I measured both my sons heads and went up a size from what the chart said and they were both still too small. My younger son measured a small and is wearing the large (that I had for the older son) and I am returning the medium (that I bought for the younger son) to get an XL for the older one (who measured a medium). Do not follow the size chart AT ALL. I would not recommend because it is such a pain to have to exchange them.

This hat gives excellent coverage from the sun. I also like the fact that it already has built in sunblock.

I had to return the first hat. I measured my sons head and picked the small size according to the chart. However, when I got the hat it was to small and made a tight mark around his head. I returned the hat and ordered a large. I like the large much better and now we have room for growth. It really protects his face and neck from the sun. It is made well. I had a dolphin put on the front. He seems to like the hat and leaves it on most of the time.
