      Dug out path in very deep snow for our toddler. My husband built a wall (just a couple of blocks high) on one side using the mold. It looked cool and kept the wind & snow from pelting her in the face. More for use by an adult or children 5 & up...but enjoyed by all.

        We bought 2 of these for our boys ages 8 and 2 for Christmas. Just like any snow item, the snow has to cooperate! Some days are easier than others to get a nice "brick." We are waiting for a nice big storm so we can try and make a fort instead of just a wall!!

              With the right snow, this mold makes great fort blocks. Durable construction. Designed to drop blocks b/c it has a slight angle. I made a wall in about a minute but making it 3 or 4 layers thick made it resistent to snowballs. It states it can be used for sand and I can see that it would work great there as well. I bought both this product and the snowball maker and had hours of fun. Just would like to see both products about $1 or $2 cheaper.

                        This is a great snow mold! I would suggest buying 2 of these so that both your child and you can enjoy snow fort building at the same time. I have used snow molds before and this one is the best! Very well built. My son and I built many things like a snow wall for snow ball fights and a snow fort to sit in and sing songs. We sometime would visit the snow fort at night and pretend that we were escamoes. We eat salted fish and pretend to hunt imaginary animals. We have not used this product at the beach yet, but I an excited for the opportunity and will report back, stay tuned
