This is a great shelf for my purposes. It looks very nice and is a perfect level for kids. It does look slightly different than the photo. It's actually a little lighter in color, and the support board at the bottom doesn't look like a shelf; it's positioned behind the cloth in a more vertical manner. That doesn't, however, affect the aesthetics of the piece. I have one sitting my living room.

We bought this for storing our toddler grandson's books in a way that he could see them better than in the magazine rack we had been using. As soon as it was put together, he was attracted to his books and could easily see his choices. He has been much more interested in choosing and "reading" them and putting them back himself.

I am pleased with this bookshelf. I imagined it would be a little bigger, but it still holds lots of books that would otherwise be sliding off a regular shelf and end up all over the floor. My 4-year-old and 18-month-old both enjoy putting books into it. They actually seem to enjoy reading more too now that we have this shelf. The only thing I might change is the color. A darker color would have matched the other furniture in the playroom better.

My toddler can now find her books with ease. They don't flop over as they did on a traditional bookshelf.

This shelf came really fast considering I personalized it. It holds a lot of books and does not look cheap.

Holds books of all sizes. My 2 1/2 year old son loves being able to take books out and put them back himself.

This bookshelf was just what my son needed in his room for the many books I have collected for him. I have mostly flat Dr. Seuss books in it and was able to stack about 3 layers in each row. One problem we had was where his name was stitched on the bottom, the stitch went through the entire fabric, so we couldn't slide it onto the rail. My husband had to cut it just so we could get it on. Doesn't look too bad, don't know if this was manufacturing error or how it is designed.

very difficult to put together, had to get the husband to put it together. sling put on backwards several times. does hold many books however overall, the shelf is very small. bought for a 4 year old and it fits a 2 year old better.

Nice product to display medium and large sized books. Looks nice in playroom. My girls enjoy being able to see their books on display. We call the unit their library. The only negative is that the smaller books are not visible when displayed.

It helps my son and I to keep his room organized. He loves to put the books back when I'm done reading. The only thing to be cautious of is if you child is a climber. The first day I set it up in his room, I turned to do something and when I turned back around to look at him he had climbed all the way to the top.

I love this book shelf. My daughter loves books, this makes it easy for her to visualize her books and pick out which ones she wants to read. Highly recommend.

This bookshelf is awesome. I bought one about 2 1/2 years ago when my daughter was 2 years old, and I just purchased a second one for my son who is 18 months old. It holds a ton of books, and has stood up to the abuses of two young children, no problem. I have even found my son climbing it and it did not tip over! I would highly recommend this product!

Thins shelf was affordable yet very durable and trendy. I was able to display several (~30) books in the classroom for students to browse. I love the nuetrality, stability, versatility, and easy assembly. Took me only 15 minutes to assemble and is sure to last a long time. Great for multiple classroom uses and in a childs bedroom.

My daughter absolutely LOVES this bookshelf! From the minute I set it up she has been putting books in and taking them out, and i mean constantly! She already loved to "read" books but her play area has become the area in front of the sling book shelf. At 16 months she can reach the top shelf as easily as the bottom, and compared to her last bookshelf (which we have since gotten rid of) she can actually see the fronts of the books and pull them out without any help. We bought one a month ago, and have told all of our friends with children about it. We now have one in our living room and one in our daughter's bedroom. Not only that, but both Grandmothers now have one at their houses for when she visits! We have also bought one for two friends' children who love them just as much as our daughter. One of the best children products on the market!!!!
