My son loves these. For the price, I think they are excellent. They seem of good quality. The only downside is that the tag say spot clean only and my son likes to bring these everywhere and I really wish they were machine washable.

It's soft and actually LOOKS like Elmo. Only issue I have with it is that the mouth is a little difficult to open. I suspect it'd get a bit tiresome if using it continuously.

I got these for my twin ten-month-old boys for Christmas, but my 3-year-old son enjoys them, too. Everyone laughs when mom talks like Ernie and Big Bird, and demands more! The puppets are well-made and colorful, and look just like on the show. I'm considering buying more of the set.

My son LOVES Elmo! So, I got some of these for him for his birthday and he is crazy for them. He loves for my husband (who can immitate Elmo very well) to play with them. He laughs every time! Great item for imagination building!

My 17 month old loves the Sesame Street characters that she knows from her coloring books. We play with other puppets and can take them in the car. Downside is large adult hands will barely fit.

The opening for the puppets is much to small for adult hands. The opening could be a little larger so grandparents and parents can use to play with the kids.

The puppets were a little more expensive, but they are GUND puppets. I purchased the Elmo and Cookie Monster puppets and they look just like the puppets on Sesame Street. They are a little big for small hands, but the kids still have fun with them. They use the puppets with the doorway theatre. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because of the price.

The puppets are of a size that can be used as dolls as well as puppets if a child wishes to do so.

The Oscar puppet is cuter and not as grouchy-looking as the "real" Oscar, but he does have his trash can, so that's something.

Our son likes Oscar, and also loves puppets, so we figured this would be a hit. He likes it, but he isn't as excited as we'd hoped (he would probably prefer Elmo, but you can only deal with Elmo for so long... plus Oscar was always my personal favorite).

These puppets are very cute and look just as pictured. The mouth area is tight and difficult to manipulate even for an adult and even more so for a child. I was disappointed in how hard it was to make the puppet "talk". They may "loosen up" with time and play. I would recommend this but also with the advice about the difficult mouthpiece.

Our 5 year old daughter received Big Bird and Cookie Monster as gifts along with the doorway puppet theater. They were stars the first night! And her 3 year brother loved them too.
