I thought I would like these trays to reduce breastmilk waste, however, I have gone back to using the breastmilk freezer bags. It is nice to have 1 or 2 oz portions for baby, but now that he is taking 4 oz at most bottles (3 months old), its easier just to make a few bags with 1 or 2 oz and the rest 4 oz. The bags freeze flat and take up less room in the freezer and also thaw faster. These are bulky to store and take more time to thaw. I also have to thaw 2 oz before I can get the other 2 oz in the bottle to thaw the rest of it. You do have to be careful when filling them and then moving them to the freezer because you can spill it easily (if the channels were deeper, it might be less likely to spill). The milk sticks do push out of the trays easily if you press on them from the back of the tray and drop them out onto the lid. Then you can just pick them up and put them in whatever bag or container you are going to store them in.

I had a huge over supply in the beginning and I was tired of spending so much money on milk bags, so I purchased these. I love it. Yes, it can leak if you aren't careful but used properly it is great.

Now that my supply has regulated and I am not pumping, I am using the trays to freeze homemade baby food! I love that I am getting to use these for more than just milk!

I was able to store over 100 oz before going back to work. The milk sticks are so easy to use. My mom and husband make my baby's bottles. I just let them know how many sticks to use for each bottle. If she is still a little hungry they just thaw one or two more oz.
It takes a little getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it they are great.

I used these exclusively. I found them very easy to use. They do leak a little if not kept level (which is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars). Don't overfill! Overfilling is the only reason they would be hard to get out. The plastic is slightly flexible so you just have to push from the back and the sticks pop right out. I never put them in the dishwasher so I never had a problem with warping. You will get freezer burn if you store the milk in these trays (which is not what they are designed for), so make sure after the milk is frozen you transfer it to freezer safe baggies. Easy to clean (be hand), and easy to use, and I love the 1 oz sticks.

I love these, before I was using ice cube trays which are messy and the cubes only fit in a wide mouth bottle. I wish the lids fit a little better, there is no leakgae or anything, but I wish it had a real "click" when closed.

This is a great product because it eliminates the expensive milk storage bags, but one of the trays cracked after 1 use. [...] My 5 1/2 month old eats 7 oz at a time and 7 sticks do not fit in a bottle, even if you break them apart. So i did have to buy a larger glass pitcher to defrost the sticks in and then pour the milk in the bottle.

I purhased these a while ago with high hopes. While the trays are generally easy to use, the lid does not snap on snuggly and so there is often a spill. That's frustrating after all the time I spent pumping in addition to feeding. I also followed the cleaning directions and experianced warping. I wish the trays had a better lid and that they were a bit more sturdy to prevent the warping.

I love that the sizing is 1 oz portions so I could be judicius in using the frozen milk - we had very little waste. It allowed me to step up portions as my child grew which I loved.

I love these trays! If you're having trouble getting the sticks out, you're probably overfilling the tray. There's a max-fill line that is a little hard to see, but as long as you stay under it, the sticks pop right out!

I'm a mom of 3, and I breastfed them all. My first, I didn't freeze any milk, so breastfeeding didn't last too long after I returned to work. My 2nd was on breast milk for 10 1/2 months, only until the doctors told me to stop since I was 5 months pregnant with my 3rd. I froze tons of milk with #2, and it worked fine using the bags, but oh my gosh! I wish I had had these trays for all 3! I bought 2 sets of these, and even though I spent [$], I am going to save so much time and money over the bags. The milk may not be as compact in the freezer, but we have a deep freezer, so I'm not too worried about the space. So easy to freeze, take out, and use! As long as you're careful with putting them in the freezer, your milk won't spill...love them!

The idea is great, but once the milk is frozen, it's not as easy to pop out as a normal ice cube tray. We ended up having to use a spoon to pop out the milk.

I was very excited to receive these milk trays. It just makes sense to be able to chose the amount of milk you want to thaw each feeding verses only being able to thaw the size bag you froze previously. And putting all of one day's milk into one freezer bag seemed more organized and much cheaper than using expensive breast milk bags. However, it didn't work for me. Any slight angle to your freezer causes the shape to be slightly askew. The lid is not tight, so one of my trays even leaked milk out. And I had difficulty getting the cubes out. I had to let them thaw on the counter longer than I felt comfortable in order to be able to pop the cubes out. There was too much milk loss for me to be happy with these trays.

These trays are great! I hated that whenever I pumped breastmilk before, so much of it went to waste because I would freeze 5 oz at a time and it didn't always get used up in one feeding. The 1 oz sticks are so convenient and there is much less waste. I did not have any problems with the trays melting becoming warped. I wash all my plastic by hand. I don't have any complaints at all.

I wish these were around when I had my first son! They are so compact and practical! You can tell that a clever mom thought of these! With my first son, I pumped so much milk that it took over the freezer with little separate bags... no more! Pump, freeze in the tray and transfer all the 1 oz portions into one bag! Can't get any easier than that!

I washed the trays according to the instructions and they slightly warped. Now they don't close all of the way to prevent spills. I am going to see if I can return them. It is a great idea and I am using them but, using them very carefully so I don't spill in my freezer. Based on the quality I would not recommend them to a friend.
