This was a great invention all around

Comments about Preventive Dental Safety Toothbrush:
My child uses this not only as a toothbrush, but also as a teething aid. The design is so easy for them to hold and keep hold of. Since they cannot choke on this, I feel extremely comfortable letting them use this by themself anytime that they want to. It would be nice if they came in more colors for more of a variety, but that really does not matter compared to the fantastic results that I have had with these. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS PRODUCT. Thanks to whoever invented & made this.

Perfict size for little hands that put everything in their mouths! Use as a teether and a toothbrush for those first emerging teeth. Packing two together was great--we always have one at home and one in the diaper bag.

Everyone needs this!

I ordered this and I received a plastic case with not only the toothbrush, but a teether and another toothbrush of a different design. All three are great products and our daughter loves to use them after breakfast. The teether is especially nice as she has many teeth coming in at the same time. I love the plastic case for ease of storage as well.

Not a good brush for baby's teeth!
By SavvyMommy
from New Jersey
This is not a brush that your dentist or dental hygienist would recommend. Yes, it's a great thing that your infant or toddler cannot push it too far inside the mouth. However, the bristles are way too hard on their precious little gums and teeth, and the discomfort created will actually push them to dislike brushing their teeth. The best toothbrushes for little kids are with soft bristles, and the parent should do the brushing while the child holds another brush in his/her hand. If the parent supervises, the child will not get the brush too far back in their mouth and there is no risk. Try finding a brush with a wider head and softer bristles in your supermarket. They have some great ones targeted for kids under 24 months.
Definitely recommend

This toothbrush is great! My son is 9 months old and I wanted to get started using a baby toothbrush. I love that this toothbrush will not go too far into his mouth. He even likes to grab it and rub the bristles on his gums. I think it will be good to get him used to brushing his teeth at such a young age.

The best invention ever!

I originally received one from my dentist as a gift for my daughter. I was so excited to find one at OSA. I looked everywhere in the stores. It is perfect for my active daughter. She does not sit still, therefore if she does take off with the toothbrush in her mouth, I am not worried that she will choke on it. I bought several of these for all my "new mom" friends.
Good for new brushers

This is great for your little one to chew on and begin to get the idea of brushing teeth - especially because they can't choke on it. I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you are wanting to use it to brush your child's teeth. I let her "chomp" on this one while I'm brushing mine, and then I have another little toothbrush that I use to brush her teeth. When she reaches for that toothbrush that I'm using, I give her the safety toothbrush and she's satisfied.
My son loves it

My son enjoys brushing his own teeth. He still needs help to get it done right, but it is nice that he can't hurt himself.
Great Toothbrush!

My 1.5 yr old and I love this toothbrush. She enjoys brushing her own teeth and I'm not worried about her choking or gagging on it (due its wonderful design). It's even easy for me to use to go behind her, making sure she got every tooth.
I like.

Very nice toothbrush!

Great toothbrush...my 8 month old loves it when I brush her teeth before bathtime...and when I finish I just give it to her and she brushes her teeth herself...plus teeths on it. Water only as the pediatrician says no toothpaste at this age!

About Me First Time Parent, Medical Professional
I started using this product with my daughter at around nine months to get her used to the routine (she didn't get her first tooth until 13 months). She is now 17 months and looks forward to brushing her teeth! She can safely brush her own teeth.
Great Design
By Brad & Bobbi

This is a great design. The only possible improvement would be to make the brush end just a little more narrow, so it can reach the very back of the mouth. My daughter is teething, so the brush feels good on her little gums. Great product.
