My daughter's room was extremely bright in the mornings. We hooked these panels to her existing curtains and the room is pretty much pitch black now. She sleeps like a champ!

Comments about One Step Ahead Room-darkening Blackout Drapery Liner 105""l 2-pack:

These curtains block out like well and are easy to install. However, I could not believe how narrow they were. I needed 2-3 times are many as I had planned, so it got expensive quickly. Don't know why they'd make the panels so narrow - no one has windows that small! You are better off making them yourself.

Comments about One Step Ahead Room-darkening Blackout Drapery Liner 105""l 2-pack:

These panels do a great job at blocking the light while being easily hidden behind the current curtain. I agree that the panels are skinny, but they cover the entire window so it does the job. I love that you can cut the curtain to the length you need without fraying! These are nice and heavy (so block the light out completely) while not pulling the curtain down. These panels easily hook to your current curtain, or can hang on their own. Versatile, convenient and high quality.

Comments about One Step Ahead Room-darkening Blackout Drapery Liner 105""l 2-pack:

These were even better than I thought they would be!! I got these mostly for my husband, but also my son. My husband works crazy hours & my son was getting up as soon as the sun came out. Needless to say, this momma was tired! These are perfect! Although, it's not completely dark, it keeps MOST of the light out! We bought an extra set, thinking we'd need it for our windows, but we only needed one set. We are still keeping the other set though, cause who knows when we'll need them :) Great purchase!!

This is a great product in that it works; however, it doesn't allow you to use only 1 panel per window. My oldest son's room has 2 standard width windows, so I would have to buy 2 of the blackout kits, spending over seventy dollars for these! Great product, but not willing to spend that much on blackout curtains. Sorry!

After ordering 1 pair of these blackout curtains, I was very happy with the quality and finish and the blackout effect they provided for my baby-girl room. So I decided to order 3 more pairs. the second order was a disaster! The curtains looked like they were cut and sown by a child. They were not straight, ink pen on the edges. And after washing them (Just like I washed the first set- cold water, gentle cycle)they started to shed the white protective layer. I'm not sure how but the second order was completely different quality. I still decided to hang them b/c they hang behind regular curtains and you cannot see how badly they are consturcted. They work Ok but I'm very dissapointed by the finish, ink pen and uneven cut.

I love this product! We also bought one for our youngest daughters room (7mon)...

Easy to install. We used to have a blanket over the window and tacked down the sides so light didn't come through in our 20 month olds room. With the blackout curtain the light comes through the sides and the middle where the two pieces meet. We are going to try tape or something to tack the sides and middle down and see if it helps.

I bought these for our living room (located at the front of the house and gets a lot of outside light) which is being converted into a guest room because our guest room is becoming the nursery for baby #2. Huge difference once these liners were added. Bought more for the nursery. It would be nice if they made a wider set, though.

I have twins, girl & boy. My daughter is a good sleeper and my son was not such a good sleeper. I bought these drapes because I felt that by keeping their room dark it would help him sleep better; it does. He sleeps very good now and doesn't wake up at like 5:30AM because there is no light in the room now.

Completely inadequate for average window/drapery panel width. Would need at least two panels for average window and four for double. Each panel should be at least a foot or more wide to match the width of the drapery panel.

I am returning these as they are too narrow, I bought 2 panels for each window and they are still too narrow to match up with one each one of the curtain panels I have in there (and they are basic width panels). You also have to cut them yourself if you want the ones that are over 60 inches.

These curtains serve the purpose, but they are really just glorified shower curtains, if "glorified" is even the term ... they are simplly shower curtain material with string loops at the top to insert (very sharp!) hooks through, then loop over your curtains / curtain rod.

Like I said, pretty much serve the purpose, but look ridiculous. Also, you can't hem them because they're plastic - you just cut them to the length you need, so you better have a steady hand for a clean line!

You get what you pay for ... I learned my lesson and I'll be investing in thicker curtains now to nap-darken my little girl's room.
