The description made this toy sound motorized and that it would roll around to entice my baby to crawl after it. There are a couple flashing lights and the beads inside make noise when it's pushed, but otherwise it's rather boring and doesn't attacts my son's attention. I bought another company's move and crawl ball which lights up, moves on its own, and plays music/sings for a fraction of the price. My son much prefers to play with that instead. I would not recommend spending your money on this toy.

We love this toy! My baby gets so excited when he sees it! He isn't crawling yet but he tries to get to the toy with all his might...im sure he will be crawling to it very soon. Highly motivating toy, the lights and sounds make it attractive to babies.

When my 7 month started showing signs of crawling but hadn't taken that crucial step, I read an article suggesting making a roll toy out of two 2-liter soda bottles, putting toys inside it and duck taping them together (you cut off the tops of the 2-liters). When you roll around, baby trys to grab it but because they have no place to get a grip, it keeps rolling out of their way. My son went from an army crawl to a real cruising crawl in 5 minutes!! I love that this item is the same type of thing but without the jagged edges and with all the bells and whistles!! For our next on, I'm buying this!!! Thanks so much

Every child is not going to react the same way with this toy.... so please don't hesitate to try the toy with your little one.
I set the toy up with all my 10 month old son's other toys, before he woke up from one of his naps, the day it arrived in the mail.
He crawled over to it and as soon as the lights lit up and he rolled it arround....he screamed and cried. I'm not sure if the beads inside were too noisy for him, or if the flashing lights reminded him of the vacume cleaner (he's doesn't like how loud it is and there's a bright light on it like this toy).
I hid it for a few days, figured maybe we could try it again (can't judge reactions with first try) ..... he still didn't like it. So, unfortunately I have to return it.

My son starting really playing with this toy at about 7 months and he loves it. He can push it around the house and it keeps him going due to the lights on it. When he gets tired of chasing it around, he lays with it and starts playing with the side wheels which make noices when you turn them. I got this on sale for a really low price and after using it, wow, what a deal!

This product is great for my twins (i own 2). They are 6mo old now and have a great time pushing up and reaching for the toy-they love making it roll with the sounds and lights. It is also great for when they're sitting up-lots of lights and sounds. They like to try and get each others toy even though they are the same. I think this is a fabulous pre-crawler toy. I can only imagine them chasing it when they finally do start crawling.

This worked great at Grandma's house on the hardwood floor, but when we took it home to our carpeted house it won't roll. It's not at all as fun. I wish we realized earlier because we would've returned it.

This toy really helps my baby practice rolling over. The lights and sounds grab his attention and motivate him to chase after it.
