Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

I wasn't so happy there was no restraint but found a portable lap belt at [@]. They make restaurant belts too. I wish more highchairs had cleaner belts, and highchairs with broken belts kill me too!Love this cover for shopping carts too. I use my own belt now and feel very secure Angel won't squirm out.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

Even the most expensive restaurants have dirty highchairs. So, a cover is absolutely necessary to protect my daughter from germs. This is so much lighter than my former cover which was very bulky. This version travelled well with us to and in Disney World because it is so compact to carry. It's easy to put on the chair and folds up easily keeping the underside away from the child contact side.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

This is a great seat cover and is proportioned to fit most, if not all, restaurant high chairs. Unfortunately, as mentioned in previous reviews, the buckles holes are inadequate. We've taken to just using a heavy grosgrain ribbon to secure our daughter in her seat which isn't a huge deal to us. I even prefer it since the security belt/buckles are usually filthier than the seat itself. Would be nice if it came with it's own security belt - one we can wash after use.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

We use it for restaurant high chairs that clearly haven't been cleaned since their last use. It also adds some padding and the option of hanging toys. Now when my daughter drops food on her chair, we don't worry if she gets it in her mouth again before we can stop it.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

So many of the high chairs that we have seen in restaurants are sticky and covered in food. It is so nice to be able to just put on this cover and not have to worry. Plus, if my son spills anything, we don't leave a mess as well.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

I bought this to use with restaurant high chairs, which are pretty standard in size. The seat cover fits easily over such high chairs, covering most of the surfaces that my infant comes in contact with, and that is a very appealing feature, considering how dirty restaurant high chairs are. However, the slits through which the high chair seat belts must pass are too small. On one particular occasion in a diner, I spent at least 10 minutes trying to pull the plastic seat belt buckles buckles through these slits in order to secure the seat belt around my son's waist. Since the slits were too small, the material tore as the buckles came through. That is a feature that should be corrected. Once done, this will be a perfect product.

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

This item works great! When I read that restaurant high chairs have more bacteria on them than public toilet seats, I knew that I needed to get a cover - and this one was in my price range! This one covers all the areas that my baby would want to put in her mouth or touch with her hands. My only complaint is that the holes for the seat belt to come through are too small, so we had to make them bigger.

I read somewhere that the high-chairs in restaurants are dirtier even than their toilet seats. This little cover makes me feel MUCH better about putting my son in them- especially when I see him gnawing on the handles of the seat. A must for anyone concerned with the germs in public places. Love it!

Comments about Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover:

Great for the diaper bag; the cover is its own pouch. Once you know how it folds, it becomes easier. Love it because our baby doesn't slide out of the chairs, and she doesn't lick the wooden seats. I've found that some high chair straps don't fit through the holes, but all in all, a good purchase.

[...] sells this exact product for a few dollars cheaper[...]. Wish I had known that. Overall it's a pretty good product. Our daughter was slipping around on it a little bit because she was wearing a dress with tights and the material of the cover is rayon. The velcro wouldn't stay put. But still glad we had it because she kept trying to "eat" the high chair. Ick.
