This is a very sturdy and nice looking gate. It is hard for our 3 and 4 year old to open and that is good because they can't let the 2 year old out! Just wish we would have bought it sooner-our 2 year old son fell down the 9 stairs of our deck onto concrete below and fractured his skull (he is fine but what a scary experience!) I would recommend this gate to anyone with little kids cuz accidents do happen and so quickly! It's very sturdy and nice looking too. A little hard to open one handed but to me that is a plus!

I saw the discoloration of rust forming on it two days after it's first rain. Shaking my head. Not recommended for outdoor use as advertised.

We purchased this gate and three extension parts to go across a large gate that leads to a pool. My two year old is not afraid of the water and I needed a quick safe fix that would give me peice of mind around the pool. This gate is sturdy and easy to install. You will need a drill and a little handy man intuition to install. We love this gate. The color is not great though. However, this brown color is the only color that is manufactured. I might spray paint it white, as white looks much nicer. Lastly, it has a clasp that a toddler can not open, but a parent needs two hands to undo the clasp and lift up. I do not mind it is tough to undo, better safe than sorry.

We love this gate for our back deck. It was easy ti install and looks amazing. I love the peace of mind it provides and allows us to enjoy hours on our back deck. It looks great and has held up very well.

One thing not so convenient with this product is you have to order the weather proof hardware seprately. Not a real good feature a little decieving in your description calling it a non rust outdoor gate. You should change the description or include the appropriate hardware. Not thrilled about that but happy with everything else.

Have two happy Cocker Spaniels who are not 'perfect' at staying inside the back door when guests or groceries are coming in. This gate seems to be just what we need. Just installed - so we'll see how it stands up to a New England Winter... So far so good! Would recommend. Requires two hands (or a hand and a foot!) to open as the latch must be released while the gate is lifted so that the pins clear retention holes on the mounted hardware.

This gate works really well and is perfect to keep my son from accessing the stairs on our outside deck. It has rained quite a bit since we installed it and it looks perfect. This was a great find!

I just can't say enough about this gate! We have had it installed on the top of our deck now for about 2 years. It just works wonders. The kids (2 &4) can't figure out how to get it open and that is a plus. The color just blends in so well with our deck. We just had a really bad wind storm and had quite a bit of damage to the house and deck, but the gate still works great. Very sturdy.

We needed a gate to attach to the top of our deck stairs. At the bottom of the tall deck are large rocks, so we needed to make sure the gate was sturdy enough to handle a crazy rambunctious 2 year old boy. It works perfectly!

Used on an outdoor deck to keep unsupervised grandchildren and our dog off the steps and contained. Excellent product and easy to install. Sturdy and functional. Would encourage the maker to consider adding other colors.

Great gate if it doesn't rust. It will serve our purposes, however, I can't say that I found anything comparable anywhere else and so that is why I made this purchase...even though it's expensive in my opinion. We have our second on the way, so I hope to get our money's worth!
