The base detached soon after installing. The connecting cord can also detached once pulling force applied. These render the whole unit unsafe to use. Don't waste your money on it! A screwed option is much safer than tapes.

I bought these safety straps because my new 39" LED TV and stand is located in a VERY tight, direct traffic path. The TV is so lightweight, I was afraid it'd tumble over in no time with constant traffic of adults, small grandkids and large dogs going by. Yet I didn't want anything so "obvious" such as the kind like long straps anchored to the wall, or even anchored to the stand. It's been about 5 weeks and so far, so good, the TV hasn't budged. I easily attached the straps as directed and because my stand is black, they really blend in and you don't even notice them. Gives me peace of mind. Glad I bought them.

Easy to install and no extra holes made in the furniture. Also blends in well so it doesn't look "safety proofed". Bought another set for grandaparents as well. Definitely recommend this product.

I will admit to being skeptical at first. But then after installing (took about 5 minutes for EACH TV), I will tell you that it works.

I can NOT budge the TV and it doesn't even wobble. Very happy with the safety help for my home!

We are using the straps for a big older television. They seem to be working very well. When I tug on the television it doesn't move. They were very easy to install and the instructions were easy to understand.

We have this attached to our TV (we have one of the big old heavy ones). This is really providing me with a feeling of security as our toddler is now trying to climb up on everything, including the TV stand. We've been using this about 3 months or so and it seems to work great.

This product works very well at helping to prevent appliances from tipping. One drawback is that if you need to apply this to plaster, it will not easily come off, and you will most likely have to patch the wall. It comes off wood without leaving a mark.

I searched and searched for TV straps. Couldn't find anywhere! These are really good, except the black "strap" is very short. Due to its shortness, it can make installation difficult in some cases impossible. There are also just enough adhesive pads for one installation per strap.....NO MISTAKES.

We had just purchased a flat screen TV, and were worried about the baby pulling it over onto himself when he started walking. I'm not handy, and I installed these straps in under 10 minutes (our TV weighed more than 50 pds, so we needed 2 packages). Great product....the TV doesn't even wobble any more!

These are a must have for all dressers, TVs, bookcases etc... and they are hard to find in the hardware stores. We had no trouble installing them.

These were amazingly strong. We had to move our two TVs and we had to pry these off with a knife! We used them on both our TVs even one that just sat on top of a cabinet. Now, I also told my children not to push on the TV or climb on the furniture but this would've prevented any major accidents.
