24 month size barely fit my 13 month old. Feather is like a foot or more long which is way too big for the baby size. Great deal if you're paying the [$] sale price but not if you payed [$].

This "Pocohontas" outfit has been a TERRIFIC discovery, worth the value, and completely adorable! Around Halloween 2010, my daughter and I were unable to find a "Pocohontas" outfit to wear as a trick-or-treating costume, through the Disney store. We did find one at a local costume shop, but not in the size we needed. So I took to the internet and stumbled upon this costume. My daughter is still fairly young, so I didn't have to work too hard to sell her on this, as an alternative to the "real thing". When the package arrived at our house, she was elated to see it and try it on, and was none the wiser. She happily wore this costume for Halloween and was a great "Pocohontas"! Nowadays, we just use it around the house, for dress-up play. She loves wearing it and dancing around to the Disney Pocohontas movie, in the background. It's made for some great family photos! The headband and long red feather (that come with the outfit) may be the best part... it looks adorable on! We superglued our feather to the headband, to avoid losing it and it's held up quite well. It really is a cute little outfit!

My grand daughter loves thing Native American and I knew she would love it However it was much shorter then the picture item and too short for her.

It is a basic Indian costume made of quality material, but not top high quality made like some of the other fancier more expensive costumes. We are pleased with the basic Indian dress costume to use as story book character dress-up at school for the price. Compared to other Indian costumes used over the years from different stores, you can't beat the price for this one.

for the size that you offer, is really small, my small grandauther wears size 4, and I order 5 to 6 and is really small I think will be or a girl size 2

I got this costume because my daughter is all about Pocahontas, and I thought it would be cute for Thanksgiving.
The outfit is very soft. I haven't washed it yet and I do wonder about how that is going to go.
The main reason I decided to write a review is to caution buyers - the Native American Girl costume runs very small. I am going to use the 4T for my 18 month old next year for Halloween.
So, when buying dresses for girls, it never hurts to error on the larger side - go ahead on this one and go MUCH larger, (unless you want your daughter in a micro mino lol). I am getting the 6 - 8 size for my 4 year old.

My 18-month-old wore this for Halloween. It's soft and feels like suede. She didn't tug at it or try to pull it off (unlike the Minnie Mouse costume we first purchased for her). It is a little short, and my daughter is 25th-50th percentile in height, so we put on black or brown leggings (can buy at [...]...) underneath and the issue was solved. The issue was not the overall length, as the fringe came to her knees, but where the fringe started on the leg was a little high, requiring the leggings (which looked cute anyway). The 2T fit fine with her weight (26 lbs). She received many complements.

Bought this costume for my little girl (2 yo) for Halloween. She is small (40th%ile) so I got the 2-4y size after having read the other reviews about sizing. It was still too short. She wore it with a pair of jeans and some Minnetonka moccasins and was the cutest kid on the block. It is very well made, lightweight, and holds up well in the wash.

I have seen several comments from OneStepAhead on the other reviews for this costume about checking the sizing before purchasing. HOWEVER -- you would think that the sizing would at least be reasonable. The 2-4y size is simply too short to be a dress, on ANY NORMAL 2-4yo girl.

I ordered this costume for my 3 year old daughter who wanted to be Pocahontas for Halloween. She wears a size 3/4 and I ordered a 6. The sizing is way off! It was way too small, way too thin and just a huge dissapointment. It was more like a shirt than a dress and was so flimsy that it could not have been used as a Halloween costume. I SENT IT RIGHT BACK!

I purchased this costume for my daughter's costume party and for Halloween. It's easy and simple, which is why I selected it. However for the price, the quality is poor. I wouldn't recommend this product.
