These work great with the closet shelf unit, however, they are difficult to slide in and out. You have to use two hands; one to hold the shelf unit from swinging around and one to pull the drawer open.

We purchased 3 of these to coordinate with the matching 6-shelf unit, and we love them! I highly recommend personalizing each bin. Since I (mom) organized the closet, the labels help my husband find everything so he can help me get our toddler dressed. These are not large bins...hence the "small" designation. But perfect for socks, undies, PJs & swim suits! Consider the large bin for pants & outfits. They do fit snuggly in the 6-shelf unit, but that hasn't deterred us. We tucked some larger items behind the 6-shelf unit to brace it from swinging.

I bought the whole My Closet set to put inside newborn's closet. This small storage bin is meant to be used as a drawer inside the "my closet 6-shelf unit." WELL, the bin does not slide in and out easily. For now, I still have the bins inside the 6-shelf unit, but I have put items in there that I know I won't need often (such as shoes and swimsuits that are too big for her now). I was really bummed that these bins do not serve their intended purpose.

they don't fit in the 6 shelf closet hanging organizer. very tight fit and there is a lot of friction. that is why i returned them.

I love how you can make this your own. I personalized one for socks, undies and winter wear. This has been a space saver in my toddler son's room. When your closet is complete, it has such a nice, neat and professional look.

It looked great in the magazine. I didn't realize how unstable it was. It is accurately displayed in the magazine and is great for storage space in the closet but when closing the drawers, it swings back and forth.

For some reason I expected to be bigger, like the one on the sling bookshelf, is actually smaller but is strong and makes rooms to keep small and small things like socks and underweard, but too small for kids clothes..

But actually the bins for the Sling Bookshelf are much wider and deeper than the My Closet Small Storage Bin that you purchased. That one is 9 1/2 inches square.
