Fabulous product! We purchased this Add-a-Rod when we moved our toddler into her big-girl room. We didn't have room for a dresser, so we had to maximize the use of her closet. This is a must have in any kid closet! Love it!

I bought two of these for my kid's closets a few years ago. They weren't able to reach their clothes hanging from the regular closet rod so we tried this. It has been very sturdy, held up well without any issues, and adds more space to hang things in the closet. I am planning on buying one for my 3rd child so she can get her own clothes.

I have these in all my kids' closets! They provide soooooo much extra storage space for clothes. They look so nice in the closet that it doesn't look like an "add on". They are easily adjustable for differents lengths from onesies to toddler pants! EXCELLENT buy!

I like that this rod allows my kids to hang things lower and it is pretty sturdy so far. I only wish that it were possible to adjust the height level higher. I have a 5 year old who needs the stool to reach the adult clothes rod but this rod is already getting a little too low for him.

It arrived damaged - missing a key piece of the velcro. One Step Ahead was great in getting a new one sent out, but it was strange the quality control for the manufacturer didn't catch something as painfully obvious.

It seems like it's going to work but I'm not sure how much it's going to hold before I have to start messing around with the velcro to make sure it stays.

These work very nicely for my toddler's clothes - he can now get things himself and is really excited to do it! Only one suggestion: please make it so that you can adjust fully up and down the length of the two hanging belts. There is flexible adjustment on the belts, but only up to a certain point. Thanks!

When i needed to add another kid-height closet bar so my 3yo could continue to pick out her own clothes, this was the obvious choice. I already had one for my 5yo, so I just added another to the unused adult-height closet bar. Quick and easy to install, and not difficult to adjust the height. Only downfall is that it swings, so when kids are getting dressed, sometimes hear clunking from bars hitting walls.

The rod is easy to hang and can expand. The only complaint I have is that the straps just slip right on to the bar but can slip right off the bar as well. There should be something to stop the strap from slipping once it's hanging.

It does not take a lot of space. To me it's a pretty useful thing to have.

I have to say i love these closet rods...i put them in my son's closet one side for him and the other side for my baby it has doubled my closet space so easy to install...im gonna get some more to use in my closet. i show everyone when they come over! If you need extra closet space you must get these!!

We have a closet with by-pass doors and it was a pain to try to reach other clothes or to have to open one of the other doors to find and outfit. Now they are all in one opening and it makes it faster and easier to get our daughter dressed every morning...and mid-morning...and early afternoon...and afternoon... :)

I bought this for my son's nursery (his cloest) and love it! Perfect for organizing cloth diapers, cloth diaper covers, bibs, hats, etc. The material is very durable and I have already gotten compliments on them (they really make the closet clean and organized).

We use this in our newborns bedroom closet. We love it!! It looks nice, and is cheaper than having closet shelves put in. The only thing i don't like about it is that it just hangs from a rod, so if you get the draws, they're a pain to open and close. Other than that it's great. I would absolutely recommend it!!

I love that you don't need any tools for this - just wrap the velcro around the bar in the closet and you are done! Nice size storage shelving. I plan to buy more of the pieces to add in my child's closet.

I actually use one of these in my hall closet. It holds cleaning supplies ans small towels. Very sturdy construction and easy to install. Velcros right over the rod so you don't have to remove anything! Great product!

This product is being used in my 3 year old's closet. She is able to get her clothes all by herself. She can pretty much destroy anything she gets her hamds on, but this product is still intact! Great addition to your child's closet to maximize space.

When we had our second child, we "recycled" our son's furniture for the new nursery. We replaced his dresser and chest of drawers with just a dresser, so we needed to optimize an organized storage space in his closet to make room for his clothes. This was the PERFECT solution. I used some as shelves and also bought the small storage bins to use as drawers.

The quality is as good as other brand, this particular one from one step ahead is more expensive than other brand that you can just find in the store. If you don't mind spending a little bit more money, this is a good product.

The organizer and accompanying boxes are sturdy and attractive. Unfortunately, they also emit a very strong smell. Over the course of almost two weeks, the smell remans strong and noxious despite passage of time, keeping doors open, and use of a high-grade HEPA air filter in the room where I've placed the unit. If you or your children are sensitive to strong odors, I would not recommend this product despite its utility for organizing and storage. If "new" odors aren't an issue, it's a handy product.

My husband and I purchased this for nothing related to baby needs. We needed organization which we could fasten ourselves into the awkward corner of our master closet and found it with this great, spacious, and slim-designed 6 shelf organizer. It works perfectly for our needs! Can see how it would also work really well in a baby/child's room. It seems to be made of very durable material and looks terrific hanging.

I bought the entire closet system. It is very strong and is great. It did smell a littlw at first, which I would presume would go away over time. It does take up a large porition of the closet but is a huge space saver. The shelves are strong and so the clothes and blankets will not fall out.

These work great with the closet shelf unit, however, they are difficult to slide in and out. You have to use two hands; one to hold the shelf unit from swinging around and one to pull the drawer open.

We purchased 3 of these to coordinate with the matching 6-shelf unit, and we love them! I highly recommend personalizing each bin. Since I (mom) organized the closet, the labels help my husband find everything so he can help me get our toddler dressed. These are not large bins...hence the "small" designation. But perfect for socks, undies, PJs & swim suits! Consider the large bin for pants & outfits. They do fit snuggly in the 6-shelf unit, but that hasn't deterred us. We tucked some larger items behind the 6-shelf unit to brace it from swinging.

I bought the whole My Closet set to put inside newborn's closet. This small storage bin is meant to be used as a drawer inside the "my closet 6-shelf unit." WELL, the bin does not slide in and out easily. For now, I still have the bins inside the 6-shelf unit, but I have put items in there that I know I won't need often (such as shoes and swimsuits that are too big for her now). I was really bummed that these bins do not serve their intended purpose.

It looked great in the magazine. I didn't realize how unstable it was. It is accurately displayed in the magazine and is great for storage space in the closet but when closing the drawers, it swings back and forth.

I love the design and how easy is to install and use it. The space for the shoes is a little small tough, should be a little more wide, shoes size 5 and up need to be storage one on top the of the other . But in general is a great buy!!!

This organizer is great for getting the kids ready for school in the morning. I only wish it had weekend sections also. The weekday label tab flaps don't exactly stay visual but the purpose is useful. Keep in mind the amount of space it will take up in closet ,but it's all worth the purchase.

I am using this in my daughter's closet to organize her clothes for the week. It saves me precious time in our morning routine during the week because I don't have to sort through her closet or dresser drawer for matching clothes. I pick out her clothes on Sunday evening and then I don't have to think about it again all week. The only negative thing about this was that the days of the week tabs were bent from being folded up in the package, but with time they are starting to relax and show better.
