    I had tried it out to see if my son would be afraid of it the day I received it and after a few minutes it stopped working. I assumed it was the battery. My husband is going to try to change them but it really should have lasted a lot longer than 10 minutes.

      I thought this would work great for my backyard, my 3 year old loves to sneak off, but the range is only (or less than) 25ft and it would sound even when he was right next to me.

        This item is perfect for when I take my toddler shopping alone. My toddler likes to hide in the clothing racks and gave me mini heart attacks a few times when she disappeared on me like that. Now that I have this device I can pin point where she is by tracing the beeps to her and also lets me know if she is too far away. Also, the loud beep itself makes her stop in her tracks. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable depending on this device in busy outdoor area. I had this device for a year now with no technical problems.

            I bought 2 units for my grandchildren for Disney World. We couldn't get one unit to work at all. The other unit did work but sporadically. I dIdn't feel too confident in it because we never knew WHEN or IF it would actually work. When it did work the "alarm" could only be heard in a quiet area. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product.

            Loved the concept and the sense of security but it kept beeping we think due to interference. Replaced the batteries which trying to find a small screwdriver on vacation is nearly impossible. Anyway, kept having to turn it off so didn't work well for us.

                We followed the directions exactly to sync the receiver to the transmitter, however, it beeps even when the child isn't 25 ft away from the transmitter. Irritating... our 1.5 year old won't wear it as he is now afraid of the beeps. Disappointing.

                    It doesn't take much for a child to disappear out of view, especially if there is more than one child to keep an eye on! After a close call at a mall, I saw these teddy bear child locaters and immediately purchased 3 of them! One was purchased to safeguard the baby, the other two for very active toddlers! This is the wisest purchase ever-- and very possibly life changing! Thank you to whoever invented these!!
