I'm still unsure about this product. I've used it a couple of times and it always seems to read low. Nobody has had a fever yet to verify that just random checks so far. It's easy to use though and very fast. The beep is pretty loud, might not work on a sleeping toddler.

I purchased this thermometer because my daughter recently had a febrile seizure and I need to constantly monitor her temperature to help prevent any future seizures. So far I think this thermometer is great!! The only thing I'm not crazy about is that is beeps pretty loud when it has a reading. It also speaks the temperature but I prefer to turn the voice off. I love that it has a little flashlight on it so when u are taking the temp from the ear you can see to make sure you are aiming in he canal. I also like how you can take 3 temperatures (both ears and forehead) to double check for accurate readings.

It is so easy to use. The grandchildren love for me to take their temperature, whereas before they would cry and fight me. It's awesome, I would recommend it to anyone, and it is so easy to use.

My daughter hates having anything touch her face, much less her ears. But she actually sits still enough to let us use this on her. I have used both the forehead and the ear option and, so far, both have been accurate. My daughter loves it so much that she'll take her on temp. She calls herself a doctor. I love the talking feature the most.

I bought this thermometer after my son got really sick, I thought it would be a good idea to have one in the house. So far it works great, we use it a few times a week with out any problems. This thermometer has great features, Ilike that it reads the temp. out loud and its a quick read. Its easy to clean and handle. Great Buy!!

This worked great, the first time out of the box. 6 mos. later, it no longer worked, no matter how many new batteries I put in it. I contacted customer service and they kindly stood by their product and are issuing a replacement. Way to go Customer Service. That is why I come back to this company year after year....

I read the reviews and my thermometer is doing the exact same thing as everyone elses is. It is NOT consistent at all and I end up using the old fashioned under the arm one. I requested a refund from Onestepahead. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID, Buy the other one!

I have purchased 4 thermometers trying to find the best one for my now 2 year old son. I purchased this one a year ago and all I can say is that it never reads the same temp twice. You can take it back to back and it will fluctuate by sometimes 2 degrees. I am never sure what his temp is using this one. I have now taken my mother's advice and gone to the a good old fashioned thermometer.

I like that you can turn the voice response off, but it would be great if there was a way to turn the beep off too. I like checking my daughter while she is sleeping, the beep wakes her. So the lCD light is helpful and smiling face is good too. I also think that it should have a softer ear peice. Over all I love it compared to my old one.

After reviewing some reviews I thought I would give this thermometer a try.It actually works better than I thought. My children's doctor told us that the forehead scan is to just give you a hint that there is a fever. She feels that scanning the ear is more accurate. This thermometer has both. I compared it with a digital oral thermometer and they both read the same temperature. VERY IMPRESSED!!!
