I had a very hard time weening my second child. He would not take a bottle or a sippy cup. I found this bottle and decided to try it. IT WORKED, the only thing that worked. He loves it. We started with the small one and then purchased the larger one. I highly recommend it if you are weening.

I would not say this is a "cure all" for babies that won't take a bottle. My 3 month old would not take a bottle and I had read that wide-base nipples were best for breast-fed babies. And it seemed the texture of this nipple might be the most life-like I've seen. But after trying this one and another one from this website touted to be best for breast-fed babies, neither worked. I actually got my baby to take a narrow Evenflo slow-flo nipple (actually the cheapest bottle I bought!) after a little work. However, if your baby doesn't take a bottle don't expect to offer them a bottle and all of sudden they will take it....ANY bottle takes work and coaxing etc. The Evenflo just seemed to work best for us, but still required a little work. These babies can be stubborn!

After trying 4 different bottles, I finally found one that my breastfed, 3 month old will take. My only disappointment is that the bottle does not travel well. The cover doesn't snap on. It just rest on top and there is no cap to lock in the milk. It will leak if you travel with it filled. It has been worth the money because my daughter did take this bottle easily on the first try! I would definitely recommend it to those who have picky infants!

My breast fed 3 month old has been refusing bottles. I have tried popular selling brand bottles to no avail. This bottle was my last hope. Amazingly, my daughter took it fairly easily the first try! I am ordering more despite the cost. It was well worth the investment!! Now I can have someone babysit her!
