My kids like to pretend to sing so this toy is great for sing alongs. The only thing I found is that is does not turn on easy. We have to move the switch 5 times before it turns on.

My 3-year old grandson loves music and the size is just right for him. Very portable to tote, but the keys are a good size, even for older children.

I was very much looking forward to giving this to my son for his 2 year birthday. He loves music.
While he did play with it on occasion, the thing is absolutely atrocious. I have no issues with the cat theme (it was why I bought it in the first place,) but the songs on there are so horrible, dumb, and completely off-pitch.
I spend several hundred dollars a quarter to take him to a real music class just to play around, and he's actually singing on-pitch thanks to this exposure. I'm not going to ruin him with this awful sound.
Great concept, TERRIBLE implementation.

We ordered this for our kids because they had shown a real liking to pianos on more than one occasion. Keyboards for kids are actually hard to find. This one was well rated and has won awards so we thought it was a good purchase. Once we received it my husband and I were disappointed. It had way to many "bells and whistles" in our opinion. We sent it back before our kids even had a chance to play with it so I can't comment on how the kids played with it. The return process with one step ahead was easy and went smooth. We ended up purchasing the Melissa and Doug piano.

My grandson, who is almost 2, loves music, so this was a Christmas gift I chose for him. The keyboard is colorful, easy to use, and will grow with him. I understand the safety reasons for the microphone cord being so short (although it does make the microphone very hard to use) but my big disappointment with the microphone is its extremely poor sound quality. You practically have to have your mouth right on it in order to hear yourself. Overall though, this is a terrific toy!

We thought this would be the best gift for our musically inclined 2.5 year old...it looks so cute. However, when it arrived, the colors were faded, it was a little beat up, and looked like garage sale material. It did not work properly and we returned it. Our little guy never got a chance with it!

My daughter received this as a gift last Christmas, just shy of her 2nd birthday. One year later, she still loves her kitty piano! She is getting better, and adding different sounds, and singing into the microphone more often. She absolutely loves this...it's one of the few toys that has kept her interest for a long period of time. She has gotten picky about what songs play now, so she can do her ballet to the slower songs and she will push the button, wait a second, say "hmmmm, no." and plays the next song! If you have a child that loves music and loves to dance, I HIGHLY recommend this!

While I find this item charming and adorable, and it really is great for entertaining my 19-month old -- most of the time it just won't turn on. You can move the switch back and forth, over and over, and nothing happens 98% of the time. Every once in a while, you get lucky and it powers on. I've ensured it has fresh batteries 3 times since we got it, but this has been a consistent problem. Right now, it makes a really cute but lightweight doorstop. :(

I absolutely love this piano. It is so creative and fun. AS soon as my 2 year old saw it, he started playing with it, and played with it all day. He will even play it with his toes. He calls it his "meow meow". The only problem with it is the microphone cable is entirely too short. But otherwise, it is a great product.

My 2 year old LOVES this toy but I do not.
The singning on it is so annoying. I'm going to give this one away and get a keyboard that doesn't have annoying songs about cats.

My daughter was 13 months-old when I ordered this toy. When it arrived, she saw it inside the shipping box, picked it up, and started to play with it while it was still in its transparent plastic packaging. She has played with it every day for over a month, and continues to be delighted by it. As parents/listeners, we DO NOT find the music or sounds of this toy annoying. On the contrary, its music and sounds are pretty cute. Like anything, this may not be a 5-star toy for everybody, but we find it fun to play with and pretty adorable.

We bought this keyboard for our daughter after she took interest in it at a friend's house. It is so much fun - she really enjoys it. The keyboard has volume control, which is great for us parents too. My only two issues with it (very minor) 1) the quality of the microphone isn't that great. But c'mon, it's a children's toy! and 2) the lyrics to the songs you can play differ from the original songs. But that's not a big deal, I just like the original song lyrics instead of the cat-themed versions. Otherwise it is a fantastic toy that my daughter enjoys. Great quality product overall.
