Do not purchase any other baby tub! The others are bulky and do not seem comfortable for baby or adult. This is perfect for newborns and is easy for adults to use to support and wash him/her. I have used as an insert for a baby tub too!
It's great for travel and easily dries. I have used the same one for five years and three babies. I keep purchasing them to give as shower gifts. It is a new parent must-have!

I bought this based upon reviews from other customers and it was spot on as people described. Our daughter seems to be very comfortable on it and it fits perfectly in the tub we have for her. With the hanger included it dries easily - you do need to squeeze the water out, but after that, hang it in your shower and it drip dries perfectly and you can launder it as well since it is made of polyester. I would recommend this product.

My baby girl would cry and cry and often look afraid when I bathed her. I bought this hoping it would help. Now I can use both hands to wash her instead of holding her head out of the water with one. It is comfortable and lets her get just enough water to keep her warm and slash a little. She loves baths now! I use a bathroom hook to hang it up in the shower so it is out of the way for the rest of us, but doesn't get anything else wet as it dries. I haven't had trouble with mildew - I just ring it and hang it. I love it!

I used to have a hard plastic infant tub with a sling and spent most of bath time repositioning my daughter as she slipped down in the sling. At first, I was resistant to using the big tub and was searching for a better seat or sling. We used to have lots of tears during bath time...the first time I sat my daughter on the Safer Bather she gave me a huge smile and we have never looked back! We started using it around 4.5 months and are still using it at almost 7 months. I laid her flat on it until she was able to sit unassisted and now she sits up on it (prevents slipping on the tub surface). It is really comfortable for her and keeps her warm. I hold it sideways to let the water drain out quickly, then give it a few squeezes, then hang it up to finish drying. There is a very mild mildew smell but nothing compared to the way the previous sling mildewed. I am buying this for my friends who are expecting!

at same time...granddaughter used it to put her baby in after her bath to dry her off...daughter used it for herself in the bath to lean back against...

our son hated the bath in his pricey infant bath seat. Got this as a gift and was not impressed until we used it. The previously screaming baby laughed the first time we used it. Great for infants who really want to be wet rather than just get a sponge bath. Not the prettiest looking item but who cares when it worked like a charm.

This is the only way to go if you are at all tight on space. Where in the heck do you store a big bulky (and expensive) baby bath? This was so nice to have when my toddler was an infant, which is why I've purchased one for baby-on-the-way. You place it in the tub, fill tub a few inches with water and bath as usual. When your done you just rinse it and hang it (using the hanger it comes with) over the shower-head to dry. My only complaint is that the fabric is a little scratchy (hence the 4-stars instead of 5). I simply layed a fresh hand towel over it each time and it was great!

Great bather, makes bath time easier. Give a nice hands free bathing experience. Both boys love laying on the mat in the water and splash the water with their hands. The material helps keeps the boys warm while offering a soft cushion for support. If they wiggle too much, they can wiggle off the mat, and while sitting up to wash back/tushy, the mat can slip around. No problem drying out if directions are followed. We are able to use every night, and it's completely dry.

This is the second go around with the Safer Bather. Our 2 year old used it successfully, so I bought another for our 3 month old (our first one got a lot of use, so we just tossed it). It is great for putting in the big bathtub. Great head support and comfortable for the baby. It comes with a small hanger that you use to dry it. A great product!

It is just a cushion for the bath tub. I thought it was going to have some kind of stand or something. It is only practical for a very small infant who doesn't move.
