These blocks are basically COOL. Where was all this great stuff when I was young. These are well build, similar to giant Lego blocks. At 44 years old, I have had a blast building these with my boys. My three year old likes to knock them down which is kind of funny, these don't break away as easy as you would think, very sturdy and well built. This item is worth the purchase, three boy tested. :)

Love these blocks! This was a second set (but I think I got more for less on the first order) Very pricy for the quantity you get. But I do recommend them, the kids love them!!! I have had them for years.

Buyer beware. I ordered two sets of these from One Step Ahead. One set contained 10 large block, the other set contained no large blocks. I contacted One Step Ahead who stated "per the manufacture there is not a specific number of sizes/colors of different blocks that should be included in the package." Additionally, there were no orange blocks between the two sets. Overall a fun and high quality product but not happy about the inaccurate photos and description on One Step Ahead.

We have had our Gorilla blocks for more than 5 years. They were a Christmas gift for our 3 young boys. These blocks (indoor toy), have been played with almost every day since we got them! Imagination building, great for kids with sensory issues, toddler hands friendly, and just fun to watch their creations. Well worth the money. Planning to purchase more for my neices and nephews. My boys are 10,9 and 7 years.

The block are nice in quality. Not exactly 'gorilla' in size by much bigger than 'mega' blocks. All the blocks stacked into one cube makes a minimum block of about 14" X 12" X 24" - if your child is creative, s/he should be able to make something twice that size. The price is a bit high, but no different than what I could find elsewhere and with One Step Ahead's promotions, the price was much more reasonable. If my son likes the blocks, maybe I'll pickup another set and help him build a fort.

Our 17 month old is not yet interested in stacking them and building with them. she likes to use a spoon and turn the block over and use the indentions as a bowl for stirring- she is so creative :0)

I gave a set of Gorilla Blocks to friends of mine who have boys aged 4 and 2. The gift was given for them to share, and they immediately loved the blocks and started building together. Everyone seemed very pleased.

These blocks look a lot larger in all the pictures than they are in person. Also I agree with the other reviewer this price has to be a typo. Hope this helps!
