This little ladybug lulls kids to sleep! It's a soothing nature sound machine; it's a decorative kids' nightlight. Features eight calming nature sounds (like rain, ocean, white noise, and more) to ease kids into dreamland. Our child testers found this ladybug nightlight very intriguing: spread the wings to reveal the control panel! With three timer settings (15, 30, and 60 minutes). Requires 4 "AAA" batteries (sold separately). For ages 7 and up. See Product Details

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
the only bad thing about the machine is that there is only one setting that's a constant sound, all the other ones are thunder and crickets that the kids can't go to sleep to.
No adapter included and rain sound bad

About Me First Time Parent
Though its a cute idea, we had purchased it for the rain sound and the rain sound was awful. It sounded just like static, more like the white noise. But it has a looping tapping sound you can hear when you're trying to sleep. Plus, for [$] you would think that an adapter would be included so you didn't always have to use batteries all the time. It has the plug for the option to have an adapter but doesn't come with one. I shouldn't have to go and buy an additional part to be able to use this.
Not sure ???

The bad thing about this product is that the springs to hold the batteries are all streatched out and broke. We need to get another one. It is expensive and should have held up better. It eats batteries constantly.
Cute but no plug in adaptor?!

Really cute sound machine but doesn't come with a plug in adaptor. Really?! This should be thrown in for free. Runs on batteries with a place to plug in adaptor, but who wants to buy batteries for yet another thing?
Cute!

My four year old daughter loves the lights and we use it at bedtime to read together. She falls asleep with a radio on so I was hoping this would help her sleep but she still prefers the radio. The sounds have an obvious repetition to them that I find somewhat annoying and doesnt sound natural. Also the battery cover is hard to get on and if you bump it the batteries stop working. With that being said it is very cute and my daughter enjoys it at bedtime.
My 9 & 11 year old love it!

My older girls still use night lights and this is a fun way to have that. The love cute pink things and this fits it perfect! I just wish you could plug it in or that the lights ran on the sleep timer just as the sounds do.

Save your money!

While I always find other people's comments helpful when making purchases, I never seem to be able to find the time to leave comments about products I purchase. However, my displeasure with this purchase is enough to force me to find the time to leave a comment. My daughter LOVES ladybugs. She saw this in the catalog and had to have it. She's 4.5 years old and we made it a reward for good behavior that she worked towards. She was so excited about it. We got it in the mail today. It's teeny-tiny, VERY cheaply made, and overall just disappointing and overpriced. If I'd seen it in person instead of the catalog, I never would've paid more than [$] for this. The battery case (it requires 4 AAA batteries, not included) is terribly designed and makes it very hard to get the batteries in correctly. I am NOT one of those chronic complainers. I LOVE most One Step Ahead products. But this one is such a disappointment that I felt compelled to save other people the money. What a waste.

What a Terrific Product!!! I love it

I bought this item because my daughter had a hard time falling sleep. I turned the Lady Bug on with the Soothing sounds and when i peeked in the bedroom, she was fast asleep. PLUS - this item has a timer so as soon as the timer goes off, the Ladybug shuts off by itself! I love this product!
