Before this purchase my son consistently asked me if he was done brushing his teeth (even though once per day his electric toothbrush beeps to let him know).

He uses a manual toothbrush in the morning and an electric toothbrush at night.

Now, he is able to "see" and "know" exactly how long to brush his teeth.

Seems so simple, but this thing definitely works for us!!

My daughter used to complain a lot about brushing. it was a huge fight each morning and night. Now it is fun, a game to see if we can clean all the teeth and her tongue before the red light kicks on. it's portable and very sturdy. We already dropped it once and nothing broke.

My two boys, 3.5 and 5 years, love using this daily for brushing their teeth. My only negative is that if the unit is dropped (which is several times a week with boys who love to play) the back pops off easily and the 3 AAA batteries go flying everywhere. It would be nice if the back screwed shut so the batteries stayed in place. I still recommend becuase they now are eager to brush their teeth and do it for the 2 minutes.

Bought this when my son was 2 1/2 because I wanted him to take a little more time brushing his teeth...it works! We have it suction cupped to the mirror, he loves pressing the button to start brushing and as it nears the end the green light starts blinking faster until it stops and the light turns red and we yell out "STOP!"

I had a hard time getting my kiddos to brush for more than a minute until I got this. They push the tooth button and brush and scrub their teeth up until the the light flashes red. It works wonderfully and my kids teeth are getting clean.
Is very worth it to buy.

This is a great item for kids learning good teeth brushing habits. My only "criticsm" is that the reset button is right on the front. My son (who just turned 8) saw me hit it once when I accidentally hit the handwashing button, and now he knows how to circumvent the timer feature of the light. If you consider re-engineering this item, maybe put the reset button on the back so it is less obvious to kids who are old enough to get around the timer feature.

We bought this for our 5 and 3 year old last year and they loved it. I noticed it helped them WANT to brush and wash their hands for the expected amount of time. It holds up nicely to the mirror and easy to see. Took awhile to figure out the pattern of when a minute was up in the teethbrushing mode. Maybe only thing better would be a small audible noise at 1 minute of tooth brushing to know when to switch. My oldest wanted one in her bathroom so we bought another one. When we got the second one, though, it had a defect and did not turn red at the end, but CS sent a replacement very quickly. Great customer service. We fixed the other one (small wiring problem) and don't know if new one works yet. Without this minor problem I'd have definitely given it 5 stars.

Wonderful product! My daughter use to ask me 10 times during brushing "Am I done yet?" Now she just pushes a button and knows when she's done. I even use it sometimes myself :)

This is very easy for my 5 year old to use independently. He thinks the flashing light is cool and I love that he's brushing his teeth more thoroughly! It's a win for both of us!

My Two Year old will actually tell me to put the light on and will watch it when it turns red and stops brushing or washing her hands. So basically not making either one an all day event!

It is a bit flimsy. It fell of the wall within a few days and the back would not stay closed because of this. I am using tape to keep it on. However, it is a valuable tool for handwashing and teeth brushing. My girls enjoy using it and it ensures that they wash their hands thoroughly it also enhances cooperation during teeth brushing time

I got this timer originally because I wasn't sure my 3 little ones (5, 3 and 20 months) were spending enough time washing and brushing. It sounded like a great idea and was a fair price so I gave it a try. It arrived very quickly and the kids were all so excited to try it out! It is lightweight, but durable and simple enough for my 20 month old to use. It does a fantastic job promoting good hygeine and my kids love to wash and brush to the blinking green light. When they brush their teeth they close the bathroom door and shut off the light. The entire room blinks green until the timer stops, turning the entire room red. They think it's the coolest! Bonus: the timer is very portable so we always have it with us. Thanks for a great product.

Great concept & very helpful while it lasted. Problem is when the children touched it with wet fingers water dripped down & sat in the holder which caused the batteries contacts to corrode & eventually stop working altogether.

My son was brushing his teeth all of 30 seconds before we got this product and now he loves brushing as long as the light is flashing! We use the 30 second side for hand washing as well, but it is mostly used to help him brush his teeth for 2 minutes - the recommended time by dentists. Have no complaints thus far. I thought it was fairly economically for the concept.

Great item! Works great and my kids love using it! Wow, 2 minutes is a loooong time to encourage small kids to brush their teeth so this is helpful!!
