Comments about K tool Corporation Kovenex Child Safety Blanket:
Although it is a small blanket, I feel it will be helpful in the event of an emergency. Better to have some protection than none.

Great product for infant/toddler

About Me First Time Parent
This is a great product, but as others have mentioned, you need to note the dimensions in the description as the pictures are deceiving. The packaging for this blanket indicates it is for an infant and will work well for a baby or toddler, but will not provide the head-to-toe coverage shown in the picutre for an older child.

Worth every penny for piece of mind

We purchased one for each of our three children and have it under their beds (with the escape ladder, sold on this site). And I feel much better knowing that these fireproof blankets are ready to go if I need to round up all the kids in a fire. Because the kids are too young to learn fire safety practices, I feel great knowing I can wrap them in these blankets to protect from smoke inhalation and burns if I have to take them to another room in the house as I round up the children. It is a huge part of our current fire safety and evacuation plan right now. The size works well for infants and smaller toddlers. But I suppose older toddlers could use it to wrap around shoulders and trunk like a cape, only leaving lower legs and feet exposed.
small but still better than nothing

This is what I think, this is a great offer even if its so small,it is better than nothing.Atleast their upper body will not be damaged by fire. And since it is small, like in the picture, use it long ways.I also want to keep one in the kitchen to put out fire if I cant control it.I am even considering buying two blankets and sewing them together with some kind of strong thread like fishing wire or lots of baby safety-pins to combine two blankets into one larger one.I might even sew top as an oversized pull over hoody.I do wish that they would just sell in different sizes though.

The small size was a surprise

The small size surprised me. I have a nine year old and it's difficult to imagine the blanket providing complete coverage during a fire.

Small Blanket

The picture is definetely deceiving. It does not wrap around my boys like the picture shows. It will maybe wrap around my baby. I bought it for safety reasons and I am confident it will work properly.

Great idea, but small

About Me Mom of 6-year-old
This is a great product for infants and toddlers. We live in a heavily wooded area and having this product helps give me peace of mind. I was disappointed at its size, however. Leaps and Bounds refers to it as a child safety blanket but the product packaging clearly promotes it as an infant safety blanket. My daughter is petite but this blanket only covers her head and shoulders.

Even though it is a blanket we never actually use, I feel SO much better knowing it is in my sons room if we were to ever need it, right next to the window ladder! Thanks for offering this much valued blanket that could save a life!!

I'm so glad that you are offering this. We bought a fire blanket for under each of our child's beds. Hopefully we will never have to ever use them but I sleep better knowing they are there! Thanks!
