Got this as an early 1st bday present for my daughter. She can't quite ride on it yet. But I didn't realize there were two different sizes. Our friend has the bigger one for toddlers and my 2 year old loves it! So I thought that was the one we were getting, but this one came and it's smaller, but it's made for younger kids. My almost 1 year old can't ride it yet, but likes to sit on it and play with it. It's kind of small for my almost 3 year old. So maybe when my 1 year old gets a little bigger she'll get good use out of it, as she'll be the right fit. But they both like to look at it and roll it around...and "try" to ride it. It's made very well.

This is the most exciting ride on toy there is. We found this for our daughter when she was 17 months old. She started our cruising around slowly and it was clear that the 360 degree wheels were a HUGE PLUS in this products design. No getting stuck!Sienna will be two this weekend and she has her Ladybug Wheely Bug mastered. She whips around the house (we have hardwoods) like she's the hottest thing around and has developed little tricks too! She'll gain some speed then turn her body a bit and she does a 360! It is very entertaining to watch her. Best [$] we've spent to date! As for tipping back or falling over. Yeah, it has happened. But she has never been injured and she always got right back on. She is as in love with her Ladybug as we love watching her grow & develop with it. I suspect a child who has taken a tumble from it will eventually get back on...it's an early bike lesson. =)

Great ride-on with compact design. Best for children close to 2 or older. My son has had this for a year and is just about to turn 2. He loves it and it is easy for him to ride now that he is getting a little bigger.

Every time I see this buggy I wish it worked out for us. We love the design and functionality, but our daughter (who is rarely afraid of toys, rushing ocean water, etc.) loved it until she tried to scoot and fell backwards onto the floor. That was the end of that. She fit comfortably on the seat with good leg positioning, etc. and no obstructions on the floor. She wouldn't go near it after that and just cried when we tried to let her sit on it. I think it needs a slight dip in the middle to nestle the baby's bottom in the middle to prevent falling backwards.

This bee has been a fun way to help our son transition from a "few step walker" to walking all over the place. He's not at the point where he can ride it yet (but that'll be something fun to look forward to at another developmental milestone). Right now he holds onto the handle and "buzzes" all over our hardwood floors! Fun.

I ordered two of the Wheely Bug Lady Bugs for
my twin granddaughters and I ordered the large
one because I felt like the twins would out-grow
the little one too fast. The big one worked
out great for them and they weren't quite 2 yrs
old at the time. They are 3 1/2 now and can
still ride them. The "bugs" are in just as good
shape as when I ordered them because they are
constructed VERY well.

Highly recommend for homes with a decent amount of uniform flooring.

I bought this for my son a year ago (when he was 2.5 yrs old), but it didn't become a favorite until we ripped out the carpeted areas of our condo and put bamboo throughout. Now that there are no road bumps (areas switching from tile to carpet)he is constantly riding it.

Part of the year we've had it, it was at grandma's house where there are area rugs in every room. The area rugs were just as difficult to maneuver as hight/texture changes in our condo.

NOW I'm glad I got it. :)

PS We have the large size.

We gave this to our son for his 1st birthday and it's been great. He loves the antennae and pushing it around. He hasn't quite got the hang of riding it yet, but I think once he's a little bigger he'll love that too. It's very well designed and constructed--a very smooth ride!

My one year old daughter loves this! We have the small ladybug Wheelie. Love how easily the wheels will turn at any angle. Very easy to maneuver. The craftsmanship is exceptional!

My 20 month old son loves his wheely bug! I wouldn't recommend it on hardwood floors @ first, its alittle slippery, but now that he is used to how it moves he can go anywhere.
It is made well & very cute & the seat is nice & soft. I definatly recommend the wheely bug!

Cute, but one of the two arrived with a broken wheel. Is for very small children. Mine are 21 months and they have trouble fitting, legs hang down.

My daughter received this as a present for her 1st birthday. When it first came out of the box I was a little concerned because it appeared to be so small. However, it is actually the perfect size. My daughter LOVES her wheely bug and wheels around on it every day (She is now almost 18 months). She rides it all around the house and especially loves to chase the dog on it. I like it because it is so small and can easily be thrown into the car to take with us on trips. One potential concern would be that it doesn't move that easily over carpet, but this has not been a problem for us since we have all wood and tile floors.

I saw these in a magazine and fell in love with them. I found them at a local baby boutique, so I decided my son had to have one for his first birthday. They actually come in 2 sizes and 3 designs (bee, lady bug, cow). We have the Small Bee. My son is now 14 months old and he loves this. He is still getting used to the concept of ride-on toys, but he loves it when I push him around on it. I've taught him to "lift his feet" so we can go "fast" and the wheels allow for easy turns--it just spins around. I think as he gets bigger he will have fun pushing himself around. Also, I was looking for something that could be used indoors that would not scratch or ruin our brand new wood floors (very big deal to my husband!). This is perfect! No worries for our floors! If you are concerned about floor scratches, as we are, limit your use to indoors and you shouldn't have a problem. Great fun! And it's SO cute!!
