    Purchased for a nephews birthday & had it personalized. I think it is a great product with not a lot of competition in the industry for similar products (if any?). The towel could be a thicker for absorbancy but perhaps they wanted to reduce bulkiness for carry? I love the feature that it holds onto beach chairs to keep it from blowing off & helps hold your chair in a public pool area. Would love to get some for my daughters too. My only true complaint is that there are not more options for pattern selection. The girls pattern/color scheme is not honestly my style but it will do. Would love to see other style/color options for this product in the future!

        All in all, these towels are a hit with my kids. Other people at the beach also commented on them. They are colorful patterns and the kids love that the towels wrap up into their own carrying bag. That made them so easy for my 4 and 6 year old to carry their own towels to and from the beach. They can't fold them up into the bag themselves, however. It is a little tricky so they need me to do that for them, but that is no big deal. They haven't really used the hood feature but I can see that coming in handy at some point. I would recommend these towels for their added functionality, but I do think they are more expensive than they are worth. I would give them 5 stars if they were a few bucks cheaper.

          This is a great beach towel for toddlers--it is the perfect size for them to wrap themselves in (no dragging on the ground, which reduces the likelihood of tripping on it) and the perfect size for them to carry, either folded as the tote bag or just like a regular beach towel. Both my 2 1/2 year old and 4 year old love "their" towels. Between water days at preschool and trips to the pool, we are on the go all the time, and this towel has been a great addition to the lineup. It is very durable and has withstood frequent washing beautifully -- still as vibrantly colored as when it arrived.

            This towel comes looking AWESOME ... cute lil bag with storage room for sunscreen, glasses, etc. ... then you unfold it and fold it back and suddenly the storage room is lost never to be found again ... I guess this would be an okay gift for someone who doesn't visit the pool or beach frequently ... otherwise ... save your money and buy a tote and a towel ...

            Merchant response: It's there! We promise. What you do is lay the towel flat, find the loop for the bag handle, you'll then notice the bag right below it.             I was so excited when I found this beach towel in a bag. I ordered one for each one of my boys for our beach trip in Aug. I did not personalize the bags for fear I would not like them. Turns out, I don't like them and sent them back. Adorable towels but the towel is the bag or the bag is the towel. I thought they would be two separate things. Nope. As I was pulling the towel out of the bag, the bag stayed. It just turns inside out which makes the towel awkward. My boys are 3 and 1 and this towel just would not work for them.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
