Was very excited to get this toy for our granddaughter who is 4. She loves music and loves to sing along, so it was perfect for her. Worst toy ever! Very hard to figure out for children and adults. Buttons don't seem to work right. We sent this back! After reading the other reviews everyone else feels the same way. You need to remove this item from your catalog.

We gave this to our 3-yr-old for his birthday and he loves to sing along with his favorite songs. The quality of the microphone and the speakers is not that great, but it's quite adequate for a 3yo. Thankfully, there is a volume control and the buttons really aren't that hard to figure out. Someone else mentioned that there was no easy way to find a song - this is true, but for the preschool set, if you either only load their favorite songs or tell them "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit," they deal with it (at least mine does...). I don't think my son has even asked me to find a specific song for him - he just likes to sing along. I did have problems loading songs at first, as I noticed others did - you MUST load the songs as MP3 - which is NOT the default file type for iTunes or Window's Media Player. Once you get the songs loaded correctly, it works just fine. My son has dragged it around by the mic and it has held up for over a month now, so I'd say it is durable - more so than I expected. Overall, I would say this is an OK "first karaoke machine" for your favorite little preschool star.

This was a Christmas gift and it did not work at all. I have tried everything to get it to work. When i pulled it up and transferred all the songs it showed they are available to play but did not play on the device. Very small amount of memory. I can't return because it was a gift but i would.

It is hard to use, seems broken, was too hard for a tech savvy 5 year old to work and now lays unused in toy room. If I still had the box I would send it back. The inky reason I gave it three stars is because it may be a malfunctioning toy and work for other families. Not for us. Big bummer in Christmas.

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my boys and I am so glad I got it early enough to discover that it is not what I had hoped. I have tried to get this product up and running but to no avail. I am very sad since there are not many products out there like this. I will wait until my kids are ready for an iPod or similar device but I really hoped this would be an option to carry us until then.

The play buttons and other buttons are difficult for a child or grandparent to read. Also once I downloaded music, I could not get the player to play the songs at all. I am definitely returning this product and getting something easier for my grandchild to operate.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for our granddaughter who loves to sing. Luckily I opened it first to upload her favorite music, that worked out fairly smoothly, however the play back buttons do not work well at all. Also, there is no way to pick a song, you must fast forward to find a song. Since it claims to hold 200 songs, that could take a very long time with a child!
The sound is terrible, can barely recognize what you are saying. The construction of the unit is very poor.
I really wanted to like this toy, as there very few options out there in this category, but I can't in good conscience give it a good rating. I sent it back for a refund.
