I bought this cd player for my 3yr. old grand-daughter for Christmas. So far she is having a blast with it and it is holding up well. The other day a friend was over and they both had a singing session as there are two microphones. I only gave it four stars since it does not come with an ac adapter. I am finding it difficult to find one that works with it and I have been to many stores. Would like to see one included or at least one that you can purchase separately to spare the hassle of finding one. Otherwise this toy is great.

we originally bought the mp3 player for our 4 year old and niece which still does not display my review horrible product do not buy. called customer service about the mp3 player and they replaced it with the CD players at the same price and got it to us in time for Christmas which was great. my daughter loves the CD player but is still to young for it if it can be broken she can do it Cd's are to fragile which is why i originally bought the mp3 player one but if you have child that treats things well you will not have a problem with this toy.

Our almost 2 year old received this for Christmas. It is used daily as she love to sing and dance. It has been dropped a couple of times and so far has held up great. She loves it and can run it on her own.

CHILDREN CAN PLAY TOGETHER AS PLAYER HAS TWO MICS.THE PLAYERS WERE CHRISTMAS GIFTS- THEY GOT A WORKOUT DURING THE HOLIDAY AND STILL ARE WORKING GREAT. I AM GLAD I DID SOME COMPARISONS AND PURCHASED YOUR PLAYERS FOR MY NEPHEW'S AND NIECE'S CHILDREN. WOULD LIKE TO SEE COMPANY OFFER AC ADAPTOR AS AN OPTION WHEN PURCHASING. ALSO, TAG A SOURCE FOR PURCHASING CDS THAT ARE BEST FOR CHILDREN.

Hesitated to get this at first because granddaughter was only 3. Since she loves to dance so much and limited choices, I took a chance. Granddaughter has no problem with it at all and plays with it ALOT. Her mom got a low cost AC adaptor from local electronics store which saves having to buy batteries. Her younger sister loves shouting into second mike for added entertainment.

LOVE the cd player! Durability is child proof and usability is child friendly! Definitely should come with an ac adapter. We bought the child proof dvd player - another excellent purchase! - and it came with one. Found one for $12 but it's the thought that you have to go out to purchase one ... I would have definitely paid $12 to have one come with the product!

The microphones are not detachable but built into the body of the cd player and therefore cannot be replaced. One of the microphones went bad after only a little over two months of not rough or consistent usage--but beyond the return policy of 60 days. Bought this item at the recommendation of our daughter because it had the two microphones and, as the granddaughters are close in age, they generally play together. She had also used this company and felt comfortable with it. Very disappointing.

Bought this cd player for my 2 year old nephew. He absolutely loves it. My 18 month old daughter loves it too! I will be ordering another one for her. They love the double microphones. To be honest I have fun singing on it too. It's more like a mini karaoke machine. This machine has been dropped, thrown, and really beat up and it still looks and works like it's brand new! Love it!

I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday. He enjoys and uses it quite a bit. But I think my 2 1/2 year old son likes it more and he definitely likes the microphone feature more. I wish the sound quality was a little better but I guess it's not bad for a kid's CD player. We've only had it for a month now so I don't know how durable it will be in the long run but so far it's holding up okay. My 2 1/2 year old is pretty hard on it.

My children (ages 2-5) love this CD player. The design has buttons that are easy for children to use, the sound quality is good, and the kids love being able to sing in the microphones with and without the music.

I bought two of these for two grandchildren. It does work, but it's kind of bulky. The microphones work but they fall off easily. The biggest "con" is that it runs on 6 C batteries and has no ac adaptor included or offered separately. I tried to find one with enough power, but couldn't purchase one at any store. One electronics store said they could order one for a cost of $40. That was too expensive, so I just bought 6 C batteries, which will be used up in no time. I'd like to see an ac adaptor offered; sold separately for less than $40.
