        This outfit was perfect for my 8-month-old. He looked adorable in it. It was comfy and easy to get on him. The only downside is you aren't supposed to wash it. I did anyway and it seems ok, but will probably fall apart if I do it again.

              This pirate's costume was bought for my two year old nephew. He loves everything pirate and now he can dress up as one himself.
              My husband (Uncle Joe Joe) also has a pirate's costume and he dressed up for the party also. We all had such a great time with it.
              The costume is well made and will get lot's and lot's of use before it is outgrown.
              This was the only costume worth buying.

              We bought this costume to take with us to Disney World for the Pirates League. It was PERFECT. It was very simple, but fun! It is very cute on!

              The hat is VERY small - must be one size fits all and made for the infant size - don't count on wearing it!

              I had read the other reviews that this product ran small and I'm glad I did - I bought the next size bigger than I normally would have and it was just about the right size - shirt could have been bigger!

                Overall this is a great costume for the sale price. It fits true to size with the exception of the hat. Across the board (I have three of these costumes in three different sizes)- the hat is ridiculously small. The size 4-6 year old hat is so small it fits a 16 month old. This is disappointing as it makes the costume.

                Another major drawback is that it cannot be washed per the manufacturers tag. Of course this does not fly in my house and so it has been washed. It held up okay, but ends of pants began to fray. Expected.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                  We got this for my 2 year old for Halloween. It said 4T, but I read the reviews that said it ran small and it was more like a 3T which was perfect. The pants are made of corduroy, which made it the perfect fabric for Halloween in Central Virginia. The tag says do not wash (along with a list of other things not to do), well, we washed it and it did beautifully.
