I bought the train for a Christmas present. My husband spent 48 hours trying to get the battery to charge. It never worked so we were down a major present for Christmas morning. I should have read the reviews because this problem with the battery sounds common. I called customer service after the holiday and they said the item was out of stock and I could send it back for a refund. There was no offer of any gift card or credit for my trouble. My husband was not thrilled about lugging that giant box to be shipped.

We bought two, one for each grandchild as Christmas gifts. They both will turn three in a few months. They loved them. They felt very safe, as the train goes slow and they are able to maneuver it well around furniture. The large buttons made it user friendly and they loved making the choice to go forward or backward and of course, pack the trailer with all of their other toys. It will be a good transition for them before they are able to move to the larger, faster battery operated, kids cars that they will grow into.

I purchased this train for my2year old son. When we took it outside the "tires" could not get traction on the grass or our paved driveway. I tried a few different things and nothing seemed to work. Then a neighbor suggested there wasn't enough weight. So I put a brick in the battery compartment and a few in the trailer. This was enough to weigh it down enough to get traction. Now I have two sons and with both of them on it(normally one riding in the trailer) it runs fine. I've had it for almost 3 years and it's still going strong.

Very well made and strong for boys wear and tear…battery lasts long time…more features then most all other motorized cars out there for tots…..all the playdates love this toy…..good buy.

Everything about this train is as advertised except on ours, the bell doesn't work. When I contacted the company I was advised to return it for an even exchange however I would have to again pay the substantial shipping charges $5.oo plus $35.oo surcharge. Just not worth it but we are disappointed about the bell.

We bought this train for our son's 3rd birthday. He is obsessed with trains and this is the only one I have seen that doesn't need tracks. Love the coal tender so he can take his stuffed dog for a ride.

The hardest part of owning this train is taking the seat off to recharge the battery, but it can be done while my Grandson is napping!

I bought this train as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old grandson. He loves it!!!! The train was very easy to assemble. Christmas day was very cold in Ga. so he had to ride it inside. He loved the ability to go forward and backward and having the switch right in front made it easy for him to catch on and navigate by himself. He loved the choo-choo sounds the train made!!! He has rode the train outside as well and it functions just as good. The battery is very easy to charge.

I highly recommend this product for the little one in your life.

My 2 year old grandson loves trains so when I saw this item I ordered it immediately. He received it as a Christmas gift from his great-grandmother during famly Christmas. He loved it, as did all the small children at the celebration. It was strong enough to ride a child up to 48 lbs. and carry a baby in the attached car. He loves his train.

I bought this train for my son's 1st birthday! He absolutely loves it and so do I. It was easy to put together and it was fun to see his expression when it came rolling down the hall for his birthday party. All the other kids played with the train as well and they all enjoyed it! Fun for everyone!

This was the worst toy I've ever purchased. Its completely RIDICULOUS that u have to unscrew the seat to CHARGE IT every day. If that's not bad enough, it worked, on a full charge before use for ONE HOUR before it died. Now I have to send it back but they don't make it easy. There's no return label bc u can't send it back to O.S.A. Its one of those dumb toys that has to go back to manufacturer. Do yourself a favor and don't waste ur time buying this. You'll disappointed ur kid too when u have to return it. Can we give less than one star??
