Kids' Insulated, Water-repellent Mittens

BUY 2 OR MORE; SAVE $2.00 ON EACH!

Item #: 22276

Kids' water-repellent mittens are hard to find, but our insulated mittens keep little hands warm and dry! And per parents' request, we made them truly easy on: open the hook 'n loop strap, and they open wide; pull it closed for the perfect, snug fit. With a soft, nose-wipe thumb (hey, kids need it!), gripper palms (for snow play), mitten clips (so they don't wander off), and elasticized cuff (to keep snow out). Very adjustable. Machine wash. Imported. Designed by OneStepAhead!

I bought a pair for my 5 year old and 2 year old and we love them! They are easy to put on (despite what I read) and they keep the snow OUT. Just make sure you put the mittens on before the coat so they stay snug under the coat. Love, love these mittens! We were out in six inches of snow yesterday for almost two hours and they never complained once.

These mittens seem wonderful except that the sizes run small. We even measured my sons' hands beforehand. I do not think we will be able to use them after this season which is very unfortunate. The mittens were a gift and on sale, otherwise I would be returning for larger sizes. Also my youngest son can use my older son's mittens next year.

A great mitten but I think they must run small. I ordered a size small for my 2 year old and she couldn't get her hands in the mitten. They were long enough...just couldn't get them in.

Comments about One Step Ahead Kids' Insulated, Water-repellent Mittens Blue Sm:

Maybe when she gets bigger they will work better, but until then, all they do is keep her little hands warm. My daughter is 14 months and about 26lbs. These are very difficult to get on- (maybe a zipper on the outside part of the cuff to widen it to fit over her hands) once they're on, her hands still aren't in the hand part, they get as far as the cuff. But, when they come off her hands are warm.

Would I recommend them? No. Would I buy them again? No. Will I buy replacements? No, just because I don't have time to shop around, and hopefully they'll work better next year.

we bought these for a trip for see snow. for reagular everyday use we got gloves for my 2.5 year old that have the fingers seperated so should would have better use of her hands and wouldn't want to be tempted to pull them off all the time. but on the days we were out playing in the snow we used these and they worked great, they kept her hands warm and dry and allowed her pretty good use of her hands to grab snow and throw it around.

All in all, I hate mittens for kids. These might be wonderful but I would never know because my 15 month old can't get his hands situated in them properly with his winter coat on.

My opinion would be to wait until kids are older to get them winter outdoor gear.

I purchased these gloves as a a way to keep track of them the strap and fastener to keep them on my sons coat. Only problem... they're so bulky it took forever to get them on and before we'd even left the house he was demanding to take them off.
