These outlet caps are easier to grasp. Great idea! These ingenious safety caps keep little fingers out of outlets, yet are easier for adults to insert and remove. Instead of a flat, hard-to-lift cap, they have a raised pinch cover for easy gripping. Larger, too, to reduce choking hazards. Transparent. 12 per pack. See Product Details

Comments about Kidco Electrical Outlet Caps 12-pack:
They went in very easily but then I saw that they broke and the prongs got stuck in the outlet! Had to use a tweezer to get them out. Not well made or strong.
15 Mo Old Easily Removes
By Kat

Maybe this is difficult to remove for newer outlets, our house was built before 1960. Our daughter decided removing these is her new favorite pass time!I would not recommend these.

Even a 9mo can take them out

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
I really can't recommend this product. I thought my first child would get into the outlets but was never really interested. Now my second child(boy) is only 9mo and was able to somehow grip them and proceed to place in his mouth. I didn't think he could do it but he did.
Get the job done.

We installed these in all the outlets we don't use often. My little one can't remove them, but I can. Exactly what we were looking for.
Hard to Remove
By Aims23

I have the hardest time removing these once they are inserted in the outlet. You are supposed to be able to squeeze and remove but I have to use my nails and pry them off. They are going to be a huge pain in my butt!
Completely worthless!
By Moniooo

At first I thought these were great but then my child turned 1 year old and could easily pull these out of the socket without much effort. (I have about 14 of these installed.) Then she tried putting them in her mouth and if I happen to not notice I can see how she could choke on these! Not recommended! You need outlet caps that STAY in place and are difficult to remove (even for adults). These don't fit the bill and aren't safe at all.
These outlet covers are NOT safe!

My 15-month-old figured out how to remove these outlet plugs from the outlets. Thus, I do NOT recommend this product!

outlet design a hazard
By Irene
from Sunnyvale, CA
After reading the reviews on this product, I thought this would be the best outlet cover to purchase. Unfortunately, as my baby started pulling herself up and leaning against the wall, I found that the piece sticking out was more of a hazard. I was very concerned that she might slip and hit/scrape her face against it. I believe it's better for the cover to be flat against the wall. Although it would be difficult for a child to pull out, I also didn't find that it was that much easier for me to remove. I would recommend the press and pull plug cover from safety 1st instead, which serves both purposes really well.

These do what they are made to do and they work well.
Much better than the cheapy ones!
By Rockstar Mom

So I bought the cheap outlet covers for 1/2 of my house and when I needed more, and I reluctantly bought these (more expensive but the others were out of stock). Let me tell you -- I wish I would have bought these in the first place. The cheapy ones are tremedously difficult to remove after they've been in a few days...each time I tried to remove the cheapy ones, I'd get those awful cuts under my nails (and I have short nails) and still have to use a knife to remove the covers. BUT these covers have handle that make removal by an adult a breeze.
I like it!

This is even hard for me to remove so I think it totally meets the purpose. I know my outlets are covered and my 7 months old baby is safe :)

these are a definite must for crawlers. they are very difficult to pull off but i guess that's better than it being the other way around.
Don't buy

I can't pull these out no matter how hard I squeeze. I have to use my fingernails like the cheaper version.
