Better Than Most Handle Covers

Comments about KidCo Door Knob Lock 2-Pack:
My three year-old twins could easily open the covers that you stick your fingers on to open doors. This one makes you squeeze the plastic harder than they are able. At first, my more destructive twin opened the lock cover and broke it right off. They should make them with the option of no lock cover and it would be the perfect design. He gave up doing that luckily, and the covers stop his access now. However, older people and teens have a hard tome too...
Great Product!

These doorknob covers are perfect for what I needed them for. I needed to keep my 3 year old out of the closet that I stored Chistmas gifts in! They work great, are made well and served their purpose!
These work great!!

I bought these before and they are the only door knob covers that actual work and they don't fall off... I loved them the first time I bought them and ordered more for other doors in the house!! I highly recommend them!!
So far so good!!!!!

About Me First Time Parent
These door knob covers have been great so far. I have had them for a few weeks now. I have 2 year old twin boys and they destroyed the other product I tried with-in minutes!!!! These are more sturdy and do not have any areas where their little fingers can get in and tear them apart. They go together very easily. The only con....albeit very small....it they are a bit too big for our door knobs so it is a bit hard for the adults to open the doors. But I am VERY pleased with this product, and I would recommend to anybody!!!!
Doesn't Work for all Door Knobs
By Jen the Mommy

Nice idea but it doesn't work on all door knobs. If you have a round door knob, this requires so much pressure to open that it's a 2 hand job. Definitely will keep a toddler in from opening a door but it also keeps the parents.

About Me Grandparent
I got this for my daughter, for her house. I have one and it works wonderful, hers is alittle hard to grip to open the door. Still a life saving invention when you are home alone with little one and he comes up missing, you know he has not got out in the road!!!!

Perfect lock for little escape artists
By Mother of 2 toddlers

Had another type of door knob lock that my 2 children could easily break in half and open the door. This one is perfect! I've been using it for 2wks now and my 3yr old hasn't figured it out yet. It's a great price and has definitely worked to keep my kids out of closets and from escaping outside
Hard to get out!
By Grammy
from Indianapolis, IN
This is a great concept, but needs a larger hole to put adult fingers into in order to unlock the door. If the house were on fire and these devices were on the exit doors, it would be very hard to get out. Also, they are difficult to take apart. The "snap together" construction is very strong. Considering the purpose is to keep little ones from opening the doors, it works well. However, it's also difficult for an adult to fit fingers inside to unlock the door in order to get out of it.

3-year-old can open
By Momof3Houdinis
from Denver, CO
Very disappointed. Bought to keep 3-year-old in house. She easily opened them within a couple of days...however it is sort of a pain for the adults to use? Having the extended squeeze part makes it easier than the normal knobs. Also, she could pop the entire thing off.

Not Sure
By Grandma Toni

These do not fit some door handles tight enough making it more difficult to get the door open using it. They will work but need to be a bit smaller in center I believe for ease of opening.

About Me Medical Professional
I use it on all doors with locks and those that lead outside. It works, but sometimes can be hard for adults to grip and turn.
good quality, doesn't fit our doorknobs
By momonthego
from kansas city, mo
We were looking forward to getting these, because they got good reviews. However, when we put them on our doorknobs, they were too small. As a result, the locks made it easier to turn the doorknob. So, we'll give them to someone else who can use them.
