Comments about Kidco Anti-tip Furniture Straps:
The straps were easy to install and seem sturdy enough to hold our son's large dresser, should he ever attempt climbing or pulling on it. Hopefully we'll never find out! It's a great product for peace of mind however.
Love these!!

About Me Child Care Professional, First Time Parent
I'm an in-home childcare provider & a mother of a very active 13 month boy...so not only did I need something to hold furniture to the wall because of my own good conscience but it was a requirement by the state...these are awesome! I bought a pack to try out & they worked so well that I bought more. We tried using an L-bracket for a shelving unit but I hated it!! It just didn't work that well & was way too stiff (obviously since they're metal)...but these can be adjusted a little (not too much as you want it tight for safety) and they're durable...ordering even more for all the dressers & such as my child is now figuring out how to open drawers & climb up them.

peace of mind
By A.C.'s mom

We used these on an antique dresser for my daughter's room. It sucked to have to drill into the dresser, but is worth keeping it from falling on her when she decides to start using it to pull up on. Be sure to attach to studs in the wall.

easy to install

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
We used only one of the anchors(directions call for both), but we used on a small corner curio and one is sufficient. This was the only wall anchor I could find that was easy to remove and replace as needed( for furniture cleaning, or wall painting) without having to continually put new holes in the wall.I would definitely recommend this product.
Recommend to everyone, reasonable price

About Me Medical Professional, Parent of Two or More Children
Work in hospital and have seen toddlers/young children seriously injured with tip accidents from large furniture and tv balanced on dressers(usually in bedroom) or flimsy tv stand cause serious head injury and 1 death. I recommend this as a childproofing device for all parents who have a climber or toddler/young kid who wants to reach something(usually tv)
Good product, reasonable price

This was easy to install and worked to secure our furniture.
well worth it!

These straps are sturdier than they appear. The plastic is pretty strong. My husband installed them in just a few minutes. We were terrified that our toddler would pull his dresser on top of him, but not anymore. The only downside is the straps are visible from the side, but it's a small price to pay for safety and peace of mind!
OK so far
By Teacher Mama

This is used on a 6+ foot tall bookcase. It was a little awkward to mark the areas to drill, but that's the only con so far. My 18-month-old hasn't truly tested it yet.
I would buy this product again

my daughter's dresser was on the rug and very unstable when any of the drawers were opened.

About Me First Time Parent, Medical Professional
This is just a give-in if you have a child then you need this product. Children are very curious and will make anything into a ladder including drawers or shelves so unless you are ok with a 50-100 lb. piece of furniture falling on your child then you need this.
Fantastic straps
By Mommy of 2

These straps are a must have if you have small children. They are easy to put behind heavy furniture so they can't pull them down on their heads! They are adjustable and can be removed easily if you have to move the furniture - as I just did when we moved. Great safety investment.
Easy to install

I installed this while 9 months pregnant and can now be assured the bookcase won't tip while my toddler climbs on it and my hands are tied up with the new baby.
Great product to have in your home!

About Me Grandparent
I keep books in tall narrow bookcases right next to Grammy's rocker. Now I don't worry that they will tip over.
Has probably saved my kids lives
By ajuliagulia
from Port Hueneme, CA
I have a bookshelf in my kid's bedroom and use this to keep the bookshelf from tipping over onto my children when they try to climb it (I haven't met a toddler who doesn't like to practice climbing). It has probably saved their lives repeatedly because I often catch them trying to climb that bookshelf. If it weren't for my foresight in installing that strap, the bookshelf would probably have killed them.
