We placed it on the corner as drivers enter our cul de sac. It certainly has made a difference in the speed of the drivers when the sign is out.My grandsons put it out before they start riding their bikes. It is very durable and stable.

Purchased one before a few years ago. Purchased a second one to go on the other side of the street. This one is much cheaper design. Has only one stabilizer "foot" to keep it from falling over, versus the previous one has two. This is actually a big deal as the new one CONSTANTLY falls over with the slightest breeze.

The cars in our neighborhood have actually slowed down! They used to speed past our driveway. Now with the prominently displayed green safety boy, cars slowly drive past our driveway. I feel so much safer now. I even bought one for my neighbor.

I love this product. It is bright and cars can see it when they drive down my street. It is sturdy and large, which I like. I noticed that when cars are going to fast down my street, they see this safety man and slow down. It does give me peace of mind, even though I still watch my kid like a hawk. I found only two cons. The first one is, the flag is small, I would like it to be bigger. The second is the base is hard to push in to the man's feet. I pushed really hard, but it took my husband to come outside and push it together.

We have a long driveway that turns and goes to a blind corner. Delivery trucks would zoom up the driveway all the time. So, I was fearful of letting my kids play on it. I bought this to remind the drivers that children were playing. (We only put it out when the children are playing on the other side of the blind corner of the driveway.) It worked instantly, slowing down drivers. It is highly visible and gets the point across. We did NOT fill the base with water or sand, as suggested, and it stands up fine - even with strong winds. WARNING: If it was filled up, children under 9 would not be able to move this by themselves. My 6-year-old can move it unfilled (barely, but he does). My only negative comment would be that these are sold in major toy stores and discount stores and are cheaper [...]. So, if you live near one of those stores, I would buy it there instead of online.

Because it is suppose to go by the road you have to make sure the little ones don't want to go after it to play with it.

When the grandchildren are playing in the driveway we pull out"Slowmo (slow motion) and place him at the end of the drive to alert drivers in the additions that VIP children are at play!

We live on a quiet street but have some neighbors that: drive too fast, are elderly, are new drivers, or just don't seem to pay attention. My children (3 and 5) now put this at the end of our driveway before getting bikes, toys, etc to play with. We only set it out if we are actually playing, hoping that it will alert drivers but not let them get accustomed to it. Several people have stopped and asked where they could get one. Great help in keeping kids safe!

We really like this. It does get peoples attention and most do slow down. It comes with stickers that say SLOW, but I wish it also said
"children playing".

I love this cute sign, I've lived in this neighborhood for 2 years and people drive so fast and they slow down once they see the sign and, I only put it out when my kids are out so they are aware. All the other neighbor mom's love it also.

Great safety product- eye catching color and roughly the size of a 3 or 4 year old child. I purchased two of these, one for my family, one for the family across the street. When our kids are out playing in the yard we set up the Kids Alert sign at the base of our respective drive ways, maybe a foot or so in to the roadway. Having two signs on opposite sides of the street facing one another really slows traffic down and we've noticed drivers paying more attention to the neighborhood speed limit. We bought the signs because while our street speed limit is 20 mph & ours is a narrow residential street, drivers routinely fly by at 30 or 40 mph. I'm extremely pleased with the product and am considering buying 2 more. We've had other parents stop and ask where we purchased them.

My husband bought this after reading other reviews here and now I had to add my own. This product is a MUST HAVE!!!! We live in a neighborhood still under construction, so very busy roads with large trucks. This product has been a necessary addition to our outside toys. I can not believe how wonderfully it works! It really, really does work - gets drivers attention. We have gotten so many compliments from neighbors. My children now 'fight' over who gets to put the safety guy out when we play outside.

My kids do sidewalk chalk and bike in our circular driveway that is on a very busy street. This item definately makes drivers slow down and take notice! I have had people stop and ask me where to get it!! Love this product and recommend it to all those parents that have kids! Light weight!!

Our residential street tends to get a few crazy drivers driving way too fast and we have lots of blind spots with cars parked on the street for our pack of little ones to jump out of unintentionally. We got together with four of our neighbors to buy them for our street and immediately saw results of people driving much slower than the 15mph speed limit on our street. We also told our kids the little men were cross walk helpers to help remind them to stop and look both ways before crossing the street! We've gotten lots of positive comments, even from our local police!
