My 4 year old loves it! So far, he has stayed in bed until "the cow woke up"...!! Wish it was simpler to change the time once it is set up.

I first want to comment that it is very easy to set up. I was hesitant to buy this based on previous ratings, but the directions are very easy to follow. Yes it has an alarm, but it's an OPTION, and you don't have to set it. The light has three brightness settings, but I do feel as though it is still a little bright on the lowest setting. The only thing frustrating is that if the room is a little bit lit up (like for nap time) it's hard to tell that the sleeping side is lit. This clock has been working great for my toddler (2 yrs), she was a frequent waker. I now hear her wake up and say 'the cow is sleeping' and she goes back to sleep.

we bought this clock because our 3 year old was waking early (4, 5, 6 am) and then coming into our bed. We have an 8 month old and really didn't want to have all the kids in our bed every morning. this clock lets our son who is still too young to reliably "tell time" know when he should stay in bed vs. when he should get out. it serves that purpose, and that purpose alone. not sure why other reviewers have issues with the settings, yes, there's an alarm function but i chose not to use that and followed the very simple 1 page instructions, ours does not beep when the picture changes at 6:30am each day. our son has been successfully using this product for 2 weeks now. if i could improve the design i'd make the light brighter & i'd make the settings bigger (the lcd display for time is quite small)

This is a great tool if your toddler is confused on if it's still night time or is it time to get up yet. I wish the actual time was easier to read. I think it should be lit up as well for the parent to see but that's my only complaint.
It wasn't difficult to set at all. Not sure what the other users are talking about.
My toddler is fully aware of when he is to be sleeping or stay in bed and when to get up.
It also acts as a night light.
Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend it to a friend.

Very bummed. Difficult to set up, ended up waking daughter from nap and waking at 4 am with bunny wide awake... Disappointment. It is cute, but NOT parent user friendly

1) every time the clock gets unplugged you need to re-enter all the information for setting the time and alarms again. In our home, unfortunately, my kids tend to unplug things. So this is really annoying and time consuming.

2) you set the time. You set the light to switch to "awake" and there is an option to set it to "awake" for a second time (nap). However - the light doesn't turn back off automatically. So you can't specifically set for a sleep/wake/sleep/wake. You have to switch the clock manually back to sleep.

Otherwise very durable. We have travelled with it. Packed in checked luggage. Etc.

I really love the idea and my son says goodnight to the bunny every night, I just wish it dimmed even more than it does. The lowest setting is still very bright. Other than that, it is a great product.

My 2.5 year old son was waking up way to early in the morning. This clock is a LIFESAVER! He now knows he has to wait for the bunny to get up before he can get out of bed in the morning. It has been a great visual cue for him. It also helps him go to sleep at night because "bunny is in the bed". I love it. I would buy again. Only con is even on lowest light setting it is still fairly bright- worth the trade off for sure.- we did not use a night light in the past. I highly recommend especially if you have your child on a regular sleep/ wake schedule.

I gave this to my nephew as a request from my sister in law. She has one for her older daughter and swears by it. I never used this type of product, but I never had kids getting up and wanting to play through out the night. They seem to like it.

We use the "bunny clock" to help my three year old son stay in his own bed. It is a great visual aid for helping him understand when he can get up in the morning. He knows that when the bunny with the backpack is lit up that it is morning and he may come into our room. He is so proud of himself when he sleeps until the bunny wakes up- "Mom, dad, the bunny is awake!"

At first, I liked this clock. It was difficult to set up (the clock part itself is extremely small, and I never could get am/pm correct), but my 3 year old stayed in bed until the clock said "awake", so I was happy. I set the clock for 7am, and he has been getting up every morning at 7am, so I thought the clock was working well, however, I just found out that it has been WAKING MY CHILD UP! IT MAKES NOISE!?!?! I never saw anything about it making a sound when it switched to "awake" mode, and I can't find anything on it to turn volume on or off. I thought my son was making it up when he said that he wakes up when it "coc-a-doodle-doos". Then I actually heard it today and realized that it has been waking him up every morning for weeks. No wonder he has been a zombie. I thought he was waiting in his bed until the clock said it was time to get up, but really the clock was waking him up every day.

Also, some nights, the clock seems to just randomly decide when to switch to "awake" mode. I have gone in at 3am, and it says it is awake time even though it is set for 7am. We got it for Christmas, and it worked for about a week, but, since then this has happened many times resulting in my son being up at 5:45, 6, etc. because he thinks it is time to be up. I thought that he just woke up and saw the clock was lit "awake", but now I realize that the clock actually was waking him up at those hours. Very disappointed in this product.

I got one of these cute clocks and loved the idea of it. Unfortunately I found it difficult to set the clock. The buttons were tempermental and didn't always respond when I tried to set the clock. After a few weeks when we had to turn the clocks back I had to change the time and the button stopped working altogether and actually popped off. So I am left with a useless clock and now have to pay more money to find a new one. I am very disappointed.

I was really worried that it would be difficult to set up after reading other reviews, but I did it in minutes with my curious 2.5 year old in my lap with me! I don't understand what gave others trouble.

Most importantly, my son went from waking at 6am, groggy and still tired to waking up happy at 7:45 am. If he wakes before it's time, he lays quietly until the bunny wakes up. Then he'll climb out of bed and come to me ( well rested) and say, "mommy- time to get up, bunny is awake!.". Happy mom and more importantly, happy 2 year old!

Very useful. My two year old is still getting use to it. She is a very good girl and will wake up and just wait for me to come get her. We are using this so when she sees the bunny is awake she can get out of bed even if mommy has not come to get her yet. She is hesitant, but we are working on it. I am confident this will help since she enjoys it so much and is able to discuss the concept. We use it for naps and bedtime. Other then that I wish the clock portion was larger so she could possibly see those numbers too since she likes to know when the clock hits a certain number. It would also just be easier for metro see when I am setting it.
