We used this on a tricycle that was similar to the Kettler looking, but a different brand and it still worked amazing. My 1 year old loves it because she feels like she is riding a bike like her big sister.

I bought it to protect my daughters feet from getting caught in the peddles of her Smart Tyke. It wasn't recommended for it but it fits the bike great.

As long as you Have an auto freewheel front tire on your Kettler trike, this footrest converts it into a stroller style trike. Great for shorter legs!

Our 1-year-old needed the footrest to ride without dragging her feet on the ground. When she's not paying attention or is tired, her feet sometimes still slide off and drag, but overall it works very well. It was very easy to install.

A friend purchased this for her son a few years ago. I liked it at the time and so ordered one for my grandson (age:1 year). He loved it!!! I was concerned he would be too young to use it, but with the footrest, he is able to leave his foot on the board while he holds the handlebars and rings the bell! This is a worthwhile piece for any toddler.

What a great idea. We got the Kettler tricycle from my brother as a handme down. My 20 month old son loves the bike. He went crazy over it however, his legs are not long enough to reach the pedals so in anticipation of this I purchased the lil foote kettrest. Unbeknownst to me the models of trikes change over the years so after spending 2 hours working with my neighbors to try to figure out why something that was supposed to be so easy to install turned out to be a complete nightmare. It turns out that the main part of the trike where the seat is attached (the bar)is shaped differently than what is indicated on the paper directions. In all fairness, the product is a fantastic idea and is made of very good quality it just can't be used on all models. [...]

The foot rest comes in handy for toddlers not yet familiar with pedaling. I was on the fence about getting this add-on but I'm glad I did.

Until your youngster can pedal on his/her own, this is a great way to get him/her used to a tricycle. Also great to have for when his/her legs get tired...

The Lil Foote Kettrest is a wonderful addition to the Kettler Trike for those little ones who just aren't ready to use the pedals yet. Our one year old grandson put his feet up on the Foote Kettrest right away and was ready to go!

Nice and big footrest to catch little feet. I had another tricycle type car I bought for my son and it had these tiny foot rests. He is squirms so he gets his foot caught underneath the footrests. So I like this because its big. If you're not looking for a big footrest this one is not the one for you.

If you have a little one that loves the kettler like mine does. Everytime he saw one on the playground he ran to it and wanted to ride away. but he does not have the motorskills as of yet to actually get his feet on the pedals and make the trike move under his own power. Having him on the trike and his feel dangling down was not the most comfortable position for him to be in this took care of that and now we go on daily trike rides its great fun. This is much more useful than the basket- my advice is to get this pedal stand and forgo the basket.

This is an excellent product to go along with the Kettrike bike. My one year old loves the bike but his feet cannot reach the pedals all the way. This product has been very useful.
