Great for pre-writers! Because of their jumbo size and three-sided shape, these triangular pencils encourage the proper grip. And because they're flat-sided, they won't roll off the desk and break. 24 bright colors. For ages 3 and up. See Product Details

Comments about Melissa & Doug Jumbo Triangular Colored Pencils:
My son loves these - he wants to color almost every day and it's the only time he sits still! Although, mine didn't come with any sharpener so I'm not sure yet how I'll sharpen them once they wear down - since these are triangle shaped.
Love Melissa & Doug stuff!

About Me First Time Parent
Love the triangle-shaped writing utensils (have Melissa & Doug's triangle crayons too) - helpful that they don't roll off the tables, so we can take them to restaurants too! Have noticed that my daughter presses a little hard and that's caused the color stick in the pencil to push up through the top on a couple of the pencils - I put a drop of super glue on the top and problem solved!

These pencils are wonderful. Many colors. Better than crayons. European style. My kids love them!

Top-notch pencils!

About Me Homeschooling mom, Mom of 12
We have tried many different brands of colored pencils over the years and these are one of my favorites. I like the triangular shape both as an aid to gripping the pencils properly and also because they don't roll off the table! The color is rich and the leads are strong (better than Berol, in that respect). I also like that each pencil has a place to write the owner's name, a real bonus in a house with many children! (BTW: We used fine-point Sharpie markers to label them.) The one downside is that, because of the triangular shape, these pencils require a special sharpener. The set comes with one, but you may want to keep it someplace safe so that it doesn't get lost!
